- Hello love bugs! Welcome back. I love having a routine for when I get into my classroom. It makes me happy to prepare before my students come into class. I am weeks away from wrapping up my first year as a third grade teacher! 😀. Being a teacher is not easy by any means, but one factor that has helped me stay sane through the hard times is having a strong faith in Jesus! 😀. Being positive is super important as well! 😀. You inspire me with your positivity for teaching! 😀. Having classroom routines/routines and expectations is essential not only for the community of your classroom but it also helps keep you sane as a teacher! 😀. I’m so selfish but I always want to know/see more about your drama class since I teach middle school drama. Am I right in assuming you're teaching at the same school you went to as a student? If so, how did you adjust to being a teacher as opposed to a student. Also if you're at the same school, is there any teachers still there that where there when you were a student. Was it strange to talk to them as a fellow teacher instead of being a student?
I’m currently studying for my BA in psychology and once I get that I’m going to be going to teachers college. I’m super excited for what’s to come and I hope I can bring half as much joy to my future students as you do yours

I’m on my internship as an English teacher and I’m currently teaching senior high school students. I’m only five foot flat and I feel intimidated by the students who are much taller than me. I loved every single thing about this video! I'm currently student teaching and I'm reading a YA novel called We Are All Made of Molecules by Susin Nielsen with my 9th graders. It is SO good. I literally read it in 2 days myself. I think you would LOVE. It's about a gifted and talented 13 year old who loses his mother to cancer and a 14 year old popular girl whose parents get divorced when her father comes out as gay later in his life. Their parents end up getting together and it's all about how they face their new lives as a blended family dealing with SO MANY CRUCIAL THEMES. Plus, it's told from both of their perspectives :) I'm having a blast with it and the students are too!

You should try no red ink, it’s a website my English teacher uses to help us with grammar! It’s a really easy quiz grade and it’s really good practice
