Honestly if more classrooms were like this then we would have a much more relaxing time learning and not stress as much. Just that environment is one you want to be in.

This is why people who are actually into teaching should become teachers. It's such an enjoyable job if that's the sort of person you actually are, and students can really tell whether a teacher actually wants to be there or not. You get back what you put out.
What I don’t understand is why teachers continue to teach if they hate it. It’s not like the money is good. With a bachelor in education, you can get corporate or office jobs. Or just go back to school. Makes no since to continue
Ashley I Okay Idefinitely understand that. The education system definitely needs improvement. It’s so sad because teachers are so important. I remember how much my 3rd helped me when my parents divorced, and my friends all have been impacted by atleast one teacher. I meant that if someone truly was depressed and hated it, it might be best for them to leave.
I had a gym teacher in 9th grade, I loved him so much as a teacher! Hope it's okay if I tell about him lol! He was my most favorite teacher ever because he truly cared about each of his students individually and was always looking out for us, making sure we're okay. Especially me because I was very shy and he knew that. Always encouraging us and making us laugh and smile. One time I remember he said to the class, "I love all of you, not just as a class, but individually too." I just thought that was really kind of him. He had this huge heart and really wanted to make a difference in each of our lives :D and he actually did all of the games and activities with us instead of only watching us which I thought was different because my gym teachers before only watched us do those things! :)

Karlynn Ward we had a teacher that got fired and the principal told us to do a packet and we pass the class. The teacher wasn’t good and I passed a whole year and I have no idea how.
My 1st period teacher last year had a spot with pillows in the corner and let us sleep there when we finished everything. She would let us have free days and like the last 15 minutes of class free. Her class was so stress free compared to everyone else. She wouldn't stand in front of the class and teach. She made class fun. She would play All-Star and it became our theme song. And look what happened. Everyone who was in her class last year mastered their tests and made it into Adv. Reading.
I had a teacher like that! She was sooo happy and fun (she even beat cancer!). She once put up led lights because it was cute. A few months later, the admins came in and said she shouldn’t have the lights because it was taking up too much energy. (I live in a suburban town) which is weird since it takes up less energy than a fluorescent light stick thing that’s in the whole school. But she kept them up anyways.
too turnt em well no because if everyone passes there main tests and got accepted into advanced reading that means it was just the right amount of teaching and balancing work

My teachers computers stopped working and they couldn't figure out why so they had our tech teacher open up the back of it and hundreds or cockroaches started coming out of it 😬

Michelle Walker I am so sorry that has been your experience. We definitely have burn out, but teaching is not a career I could stay in if I was unhappy..depending on your state, you could probably work at Walmart or target and pull the same salary. Not worth it to stay in if your heart isn’t in it. It’s too important and impacts others. This gal’s heart is in it to win it and I wish it was like that all the way across the board.

I had at teacher like this in middle school and let me tell you that her class was literally the best memory I have a middle school. I honestly wish more teachers were like her
You should come to public schools around the nation and speak to the entire student and teacher body about flexible seating and classroom environments!! I think that the students' reactions would be so overpowering to teachers(even the "boring" ones) and would inspire a lot of schools to rethink the classroom workspace!! (:D
melissa soriano Oh I’m sure teachers would love that classroom, even the boring ones, but it was done by a designer and was paid by someone else. Unfortunately, most teachers have no money/designer skills. But students are welcome to chip in 😄

I’m also obsessed with your classroom. When I was in high school I couldn’t concentrate for anything.. because I was in a standard classroom and that’s just how I am. You make your classroom like SO comforting and cozy and I personally feel like I would learn a whole lot better in an environment like that. Also I feel like not many fights/arguments/disruptive behavior would happen in an environment like that.. Definitely give your class an A+++ and wish I could have had it myself.
She works at Stoneman Douglas the school in Parkland that had the shooting. So she and some other teachers there got picked for a remodel of the classroom. To try and bring some normalcy and feel comfortable again at school.
This is a classroom!!?! My classroom is a bunch of kids packed in a tiny classroom with no ac, and we are all sticky, sweaty, and smelly. With a couple of basic posters on the wall that say stuff like “Don’t give up!” And whatever. Btw I have one of the “good classes” because I’m taking all honors classes so like wtf this classroom is goals. It highkey looks like a basic white girls room though but I’m in love 😂
I teach 8th grade, and I have 33 desks crammed in my room. We’re basically sitting on top of each other. I love my students, but sometimes we’re just a little too close!
It’s interesting to see the point of view of a teacher, when I was in school I was very quick to hate my teachers, it makes me think differently to see this kind of videos.

You should come to public schools around the nation and speak to the entire student and teacher body about flexible seating and classroom environments!! I think that the students' reactions would be so overpowering to teachers(even the "boring" ones) and would inspire a lot of schools to rethink the classroom workspace!! (:D

I’m also obsessed with your classroom. When I was in high school I couldn’t concentrate for anything.. because I was in a standard classroom and that’s just how I am. You make your classroom like SO comforting and cozy and I personally feel like I would learn a whole lot better in an environment like that. Also I feel like not many fights/arguments/disruptive behavior would happen in an environment like that.. Definitely give your class an A+++ and wish I could have had it myself.

She works at Stoneman Douglas the school in Parkland that had the shooting. So she and some other teachers there got picked for a remodel of the classroom. To try and bring some normalcy and feel comfortable again at school.

This is a classroom!!?! My classroom is a bunch of kids packed in a tiny classroom with no ac, and we are all sticky, sweaty, and smelly. With a couple of basic posters on the wall that say stuff like “Don’t give up!” And whatever. Btw I have one of the “good classes” because I’m taking all honors classes so like wtf this classroom is goals. It highkey looks like a basic white girls room though but I’m in love 😂
