This Laser Engraver has just been released today "20th September 2023" . The first 30 people to purchase the machine will receive a $60 Lightburn account and 10 pieces of plywood worth $39.99. Great incentive if you are looking to buy this machine.
Wayne, you have introduced the machine very clearly, I was impressed by this great machine, with LCD display, and performance excellent, it is really a great machine in the year!
Wayne, thank you so much for sharing, you really did a great job with this video, it basically answered all my concerns about buying a laser engraver. The contents of the package, how to assemble it, how the software works, and testing. This AlgoLaser DELTA 22W looks very easy to use and I'm definitely going to have to get one and play with it.
Nice laser engraver/cutter I have been using one for about a year now and they are very useful. Mine is the XTool M1 what I like about it is it is fully enclosed so you don't need glasses. It has a camera for lining up your projects using your computer, and it is also the only one to come with a blade cutter as well. The advantages of that is I don't need a separate Cricut machine, it can cut materials not suitable to be cut by laser due to fumes etc. A whole new world of opportunities will open up to you now Wayne.
Hiya Wayne.. I noticed in the Settings you have WLAN on. As you're connecting the engraver by cable I'd turn it off to stop any unauthorised access to the engraver and /theoretically/ your PC / network. Maybe that's me being paranoid, but if it's off it /definitely/ can't be used :)
The air pump also blows the resulting smoke away from the laser beam path so it can cut or engrave the material better. Be very careful about the materials you cut or engrave as some can release very toxic smoke or fumes. That's why more expensive laser engravers have a more sealed case with provision for external fume extraction and/or filtering.
@@WorldofWayneUK It would be worth emphasising the need for good ventilation as it is possibly more important than wearing the glasses. I recently got a xtool D1 pro so I will be interested to see what you produce.
I would really like to get this bit of kit. However I think the price will rise before I am able to pull the trigger. So can you link me to other m/cs at this present price point please.
Wayne. Sorry mate, but I think you are moving away from the core reason for its being ie making and building models. I am not really interested in all of the high tech stuff, and I suspect that many of your subscribers are like me, and prefer you to spend time building models. Still watching, but much prefer building! Alan scully

Possibly the paper setting u could do custom masks for painting that only cuts the masking paper and not the backing paper
Well done, it seems like a perfect machine for cutting

It's 45cm x 45cm . I got it from wickes stores in the UK
Hi mate. Any problem Engraving on whiskey glasses and whiskey decanter with the Delta. Regards Paul
Nope but you need a glass adapter that will rotate the glass as it engraves.

Yer it's directly linked to the PC by USB but it is on my network too
Ah beg pardon @@WorldofWayneUK.. I thought it was an Ethernet connection.

Very good machine, very cool. is what I want
So would this thing cut foam board ?
Yes
My algolaser delta keeps beeping when I turn it on. What’s wrong?
Is the emergency stop button depressed. It needs twisting to unset it
@@WorldofWayneUK thank you
Hi Wayne im waiting on my Delta can i ask how big are the feet circles? I would move to make some feet to hold in place before it turns up :) thanks!
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I needed a battery for my measuring calipers. They are 28mm in diameter

Yer. I open up the side of the workshop when I'm cutting. Theoretically I'm engraving outside lol

Nice bit of kit, and good review. By the way the bass in basswood is pronounced like the fish, not the instrument.
Lol. I'm always mispronouncing things

😎 A cool machine.
You can make your own photo etch mods for your models now.
I need a laser engraver, The AlgoLaser DELTA 22W
is your delta 22w still alive?
Yep. It made my jaws diorama behind me in my newer videos
I know how much you love a Q.R code. Have you tried engraving one ?
Nope. Ohhh I should
Laser engravers are awesome.....but they should be in a suitable laser proof/ fire proof enclosure.
Like video
Should have centred the laser a bit better on the paper, mate.
It now reads as "World of Wayni"! 🤣🤣🤣
Mwahahahaharrrrrrr... Oh the things I could make with that!
Wish I had a spare £1500+ to buy....well anything really.
There is $500 off atm. It has only been released today

I use this to help in my model making. The possibilities of this machine are endless for cutting acrylic and wood for mods.
Thanks. @retrofire_design
