i have organic grass fed beef bone broth about once a week. That and applying castor oil to my scalp the night before washing it, (wash twice a weeks only) as well as not being vegetarian anymore, has reversed my hair loss and improved my hair condition incredibly. The castor oil takes your hair back to its balanced ph state and it feels so soft and supple. I''m 50 and no grey. I eat spinich, eggs, avocados and blueberries as well as the broth. But the broth and castor oil was the life changing factors. Get your vitamin/mineral/hormone levels checked in a blood test so you know what you need to supplement.
Very cool, thank you for sharing with the rest of us😅😂I have natural brown hair, so gray doesn't look very appealing, I colored my hair from when I was a teen and started to get grays and wrinkles when I was 19🤦♀️
Not for me. Father was redhead, have grown child that’s red head, Born red head hair color didn’t start to change until 50, now not turning white, but sadly grey.
I still remember a couple who had gray hair. They decided to eat a macrobiotic diet and later noticed they had both started getting darker hair. I personally would not do macrobiotics for my hair, but it does lend credence to the nutritional deficiency theory.
I'm 61 and absolutely love my (around 60%) grey hair. So nice not to have to tint my roots every two weeks. Good luck to anyone who doesn't want to go grey though; we're all different.
@@fionaH101 my mom was tinting for a few years when she started getting grey, not dying but tinting (less toxic abd more natural looking). Then one day she just got tired of it and let it grow out. The last 10+ years she's literally all white, and I think it makes her look younger. White is the new blond 😅 I think an obvious tint makes you look older. Besides, grey is in nowadays - when even 20 year olds tint their hair grey ( for fun), you know grey is not taboo any longer.
Im 36 and started turning grey since i was 20. 6 months ago i made the decision to not touch up my roots again. It would only bring me "joy" for about 2 weeks before the silver on my hair line started showing again... I was just over it... The first few months were hard as it looked like my hair was receding, but now it's at a length that you can truly see its just grey. It wilk take a looooooong time for it to grow out fully, as my hair reaches below my bum, but im looking forward to it
@@fionaH101 cutting my hair short isnt an option as I'm growing out to mid thigh, also low lights are risky as ive coloured my hair with henna for years, bleaching it turns it orange.... Plus the damage it would do...
Do a parasite cleanse specifically for H-pylori. Also use a shampoo that contains quinine like one of the Klorane formulas. Or try rinsing with tonic water but that's expensive. I've been able to increase the density of hair at least double after I did this and I'm now absorbing the vitamins and food nutrients I'm taking. It's like night and day.
Don't you just love it when someone drops a bomb like this and then doesn't respond to questions. There ought to be a special place for them...internet purgatory or something.
years ago I went to the Optimal Health institute in Lemon Grove, Ca. People were not using topicals. It was a lifestyle cleansing facility. People were getting their color back in hair.
I've been using Reviv Serums' RevivHair Grey Hair Reverse serum daily for months now in a desperate attempt to slow down these shiners that pop up mere days after I've been for a root touch-up. It has Melanogray, Silverfree, Wisegrade, Greyverse & Darkenyl actives and enough peptides to make your head spin, but all to no avail. These products always have very impressive before and after pictures, but I think only very few people are among the lucky ones that have similar results. Yet here I find myself looking at the products mentioned in this video and considering giving them a go, just because I so badly want to stop spending 15 minutes every morning attacking these little buggers with an eyebrow pencil or struggling with root spray. I feel like those old fellas they used to show in the infomercials spraying their scalps in the golf club bathrooms and going back out with a smile. They never showed what happened once they got out in the sun and it started melting off. The struggle is real.
The solution is acceptance of what is a totally natural process. If all women stopped dying their grey hair and just focused on good diet, exercise, and decent makeup and clothes, we could transform how people think of grey hair. (In the 18th century people wore white wigs, and it was considered beautiful.)
If someone is intereted in natural products, Chinese Medicine has amazing herb mixtures for replenishing kidneys and liver - which are responsible of bones, hair, nails, fluids in our bodies (which we are loosing with age) ... fe. "He shou wu" herb and herbs mixtures with this herb are known for helping with hair color. Traditional chinese medicine practicioner which is specialized in herbs will find the right herb mixture for anyone exactly according their needs. But it needs time, it's not just a pill and you have youth back... it needs patience, I know from my own experience!
Broccoli sprouts have catalyse which repigments the hair and since taking 1/2 cup a day with a 1/2 teaspoon of black mustard seed powder because it amplifies the nutrients, I have noticed I have less gray hairs now. I’ve had at least one gray hair since I was 10 and now I’m 30. I found out about catalase in broccoli sprouts from one of Dr.Bergs video.
@pineapple365 Wow, didn't know that. I love broccoli sprouts in freeze dried powder form and put it on almost everything. Can you detail your regimen on how to take the sprouts and black mustard seeds daily?
I escaped a lot of life stressors until my mid to late 40s. I had very little gray hair. And then in my late 40s all sorts of extreme stress that completely altered my life. It didn't seem to take long before I was 20% gray, then 30%, now I am about 70-80% gray (the last time I looked, lol, as it seems like the gray is taking over so quickly). At about age 50 I dyed my hair for the first time - the few grays at time weren't all that noticeable, but I just thought my hair would look better with a warmer tone and I was curious about using hair dye as I knew it would take time to learn the technique and best shade for me. But the gray became "fast and furious" / relentless after age 50. People used to marvel at how my natural hair had little to no gray as I was entering my 50s - including my hairdresser, but at about age 50 and with all the stress, that seemed like overnight I was showing a lot of gray.
I’m sorry you went through so much stress. I also went through life altering stress in my late 40s/early 50s and I’m still recovering from it. My hair also started graying faster (and I developed psoriasis 😩). I color my hair and have found it looks the best when I’m not overzealous with it lol I hope your life is much better now, and your stress levels have diminished/ceased.
@@pdmiller2008 Sorry to hear about you experiencing the extreme stress. I did the same about mid 40s. I went through a painful divorce, then went into retail management. I developed severe IBS from stress, which I’m sure affected my hair. Prior to that I have very little to no gray. But the stress is what caused the gray in my hair to increase. Please do what you can to deal with the stress by either limiting it or learning how to control your reaction to it. Because I truly believe that stress is one of the main causes of disease. Best wishes!❤💫🙏
@@teresakestran3637 Thank you for your kind words! I’m trying to be more cognizant of and reduce stress as much as possible. I’m sorry you had to endure so much pain and the IBS diagnosis. Take good care of yourself as well 🙏 sending healing energy to you! 🤗🙏
Ive reversed my grey hair drinking out of a copper bottle. Also my hair is thicker and softer. Also do a castor oil, almond oil and rosemary essential oil every two weeks. Hair grows very fast, bald spots vanished and very thick hair. Im 57
I have white hair and it’s been thinning because of thyroid issues, perimenopause, etc. it’s so white it’s transparent. I hate it. My mom also had a full head at 37. She has thyroid issues as well. I also have so much breakage from my ears forward on top as well. Dry, dull, ugly & frizzy hair. 😢 I feel hopeless to some degree. I’ve been coloring my hair for years. I just learned from Barbara o’Neill that coloring your hair or putting any chemical on the scalp causes hair loss. I’m glad I listened to this video. He doesn’t recommend coloring it either at first, but highlighting it instead. Too late for me, but great advice for others.
I'm in late 40'sha e afro hair. I was at my hairdresser yesterday and we looked back at photos this January and February. And have more greying now at the sides of my hair than I did back then. The good news is my hair is growing fuller and the sides are full. Being anemic doesn't help and I do take supplements , iron tablets and on homeopathy remedies. My diet I'm looking into to eating more organic fruit and vegetables. My question is, do these products work for afro hair?
At one time I was taking a multivitamin daily and my hair color was returning, yet I've learned vitamins aremostly synthetic, which the body can't absorb, so confusing. Love that he started out building decks and became a hairdresser.
Usually when people change one thing towards health, they do other things too. So maybe it was something else. Also lots of vitamins are not synthetic too?
I’m not going to buy products. I eat a healthy diet, stay well hydrated, and go on daily walks. I also shun the sun. I’m 62, and my hair is still predominantly brown. I have some white hair on the front left side of my face, and it blends well with my brown hair. I got tired of having my hair colored, and let it grow out in 2020, during the pandemic. I was already retired and not leaving the house, so it was easy. I’m happy with my hair, and if I end up graying like my mother, I’ll not have much gray.
I notice that one tends to look the age one is, biologically. The original study on greying hair was done in the 1930's and it was shown then thatvitamin deficiency was a key cause of greying. Vets know this and supplement animals with greying fur. Ayurveda recommends sesame oil, if you can tolerate it.
Am 74 and still no grey ... have dark blonde that lightens easy with sunlight ... and if looking closely, have many different colors of hair. Two different hair stylists have claimed no grey is due to my getting enough minerals in my diet (and have added supplements in past few years). Fortunately I did not grow up on junk food or sodas and was breast fed, so realizing as I age, I am now greatly benefiting from it. However, aging really sucks as used to be athletic.
The herb called FoTi will cause melanin production. I stopped taking it because it does thin blood, but when I did take it, I saw my eyebrow hairs that were white start to grow in dark again. I could see the line of demarcation in the hair, dark at the root and white at the other end. I faithfully colored my hair, so I'm not sure how much it affected the hair on my head. If i decide to go gray, I'll probably take FoTi again.
My dad died tragically when I was 24 and I got a strip of grey hair in the front of my face. A year later it went away. I'm 43 now and have seen my first grey hair again 😮
My condolences for the loss of your father. My Sweet Husband died tragically last summer, 2023. I was at his bedside 24/7 till he passed away. Within 3 months of his death My hair turned completely Grey. I dyed my hair with highlights for years. I only had slightly Grey on sides of front hairline. With dying and highlighters I maintained a few Grey hairs from showing. After his death, my heart was so broken. I seldomly ate, I stayed hydrated that's about it. Each day was Doom/Gloom for me. I have not dyed my hair since his death. It is totally Grey. However, I get stopped by young and older people giving me compliments on my pretty Grey Hair. I know for me primarily it was stress and diet. My days are somewhat better now. I'm back to eating healthier and taking each day 1 day at a time. Spiritually, I am getting stronger in my life! Personally, I can attribute my Greying Hair to Stress. I'm staying Grey and moving forward! ❤
I love my grey hair but I would be interested in a shampoo and conditioner to help the texture. Especially in humid summertime. Love that theirs is unscented. The other thing I have learned from many health experts is that a lot of us don't absorb or assimilate what we eat properly. We are eating all the right things but the body isn't able to use the food properly. Believe it or not, being in a good frame of mind, calm and not rushing my meals has been very helpful. I love a hat. Especially in the summer heat :). Would love recommendations for budget friendly hair products that help texture. Thanks
If they say it didn’t work, then it didn’t work. I’m not sure that’s about expectation. I’d be happy to get a little back, but I’m not gonna spend the money and time at this stage because I’ve been gray for years.
Because i have a lot of gray, Its so frustrating that i need root touch ups just 2-3 weeks after getting salon color work! And because Im brunette, grays are so noticeable at roots.
Try the Clairol ready mixed root touch up. No mixing. It's got a built in brush - so no need for gloves. I just dab on my hairline and on my parting and shower off 20 minutes later. I find it so much easier than regular hair dye. It lasts a long time at your only using a little each time.
@@thehonestchannel , thank u for your reply ! Yes i do highlights. Because my hair is dark brown, the gray "sprouts " grow so quickly and are in stark contrast. Using at home root touch ups is tiresome. I think i may need to consider going au natural because of the amt of gray i now have, but not quite there yet
Me too, my hair grows like weeds, I need root touch up every 10 days, no exaggeration. My hair is thin and frizzy and dull and it used to be a thick glossy wavy mane until menopause, now it’s like a burst couch! A weird texture and all over the place, but it does grow really really fast. I do wash in brown toner stuff, and semi permanent on it now so I don’t see the demarcation line so much, and I use a mix of hair thickening shampoo and one for reddish brown hair, I put it all in one big bottle with a pump thing
I love my silver /gray hair. I see many young women go to the hairdresser to have silver put in their hajr. Acceptance of the inevitable. Makes life easier.
Whenever I go outside, I always wear a hat to protect my scalp from the sun and to provide that extra coverage around my SPF protected face. I'm starting to get some greys and when they become more pronounced, I plan to get low/highlights. Not looking forward to the extra expense, the exposure of chemicals, and the potentially more damaged/dry hair that comes with it. When I was in my 20s, I used to get my hair highlighted all the time.
Tyrosine is the active ingredient that reverses grey hair. It's in GR7 and most anty grey products. May be cheaper to find alternative topical tyrosine products.
I have discovered over my 50 years of life that no one really has any true answers on how to prevent hair loss or hair greying. Even in our day of technology advancement the hair remains a complete unsolvable mystery
Hairprint uses enzymes (so natural it is edible!) to restore brown and black hair. My husband and I have eaten fresh farm eggs and avocados for years. He is full silver and I have a some spider web grays. We have followed 60/40 WAPF diet for 10 years promoting natural fats, proteins fed their traditional diet along with fermented food and more.
I am not sure what to take from your message. Both you and your husband have been eating healthy, and he is fully grey (a/k/a "silver"), and you are not as of yet. What is the conclusion then?
The absolute best & most effective remedy Ive found is drinking a daily cup of tea from the Foti Root (aka Polygonum Multiforum) which can be found in Asian food stores as an inexpensive tea. Also, Amla oil masaged into the scalp regularily (and/or consuming amla/gooseberry powder in your food/drinks). Rice water scalp massages are fantastic for strengthening, softening, and treating weak dull, lifeless, oxidised hair.
3 years of veganism caused me to lose around 25% of my hair, and for it to start turning white. Returning to an omnivorous diet, focussing on nutrient-dense natural foods, including animal products for heme iron, D3, B12, collagen, and the many other things not found or bioavailable in plants. As a result I’ve got most of my hair back - and the colour, ash blonde, has returned. You can actually see a band of white growing out from my temples. It looks crazy, but I love it because it proves that a lot of what we considered inevitable can actually be improved with good health. Now if only a diet could fix the damage the that high-raw vegan diet did to my teeth…
When it comes to frizzy hair, I always look for a remedy. One remedy that really worked was a Pantene Pro-v shampoo that I bought abroad. It was like a magic, my hair were smooth like silk and under different type of water, so it wasn't just the water, it was the Shampoo. I feel like in US the shampoos all make your hair frizzy and unrully, just so you buy million other products to fix it🤦♀️
The Pantene Smooth & Silky formulation especially which has more of the defrizz or smoothing component (I assume), but I'm glad you posted this because I've definitely noticed it! 😊
@@thehonestchannel No, it wasn't different under different water. I used it abroad, in Nicaragua and Costa Rica, and then back in the US because I suspected that they maybe had better water. But there was 0 difference, still soft and no frizz😔 I can't find anything like that in the US, and I am not planning to pay $50 for a bottle of shampoo😪😅
@babycakes8434 The US hair products that I have been using for almost 20years with great results are the Aveda hair products (Be Curly) conditioner. It works great at conditioning without weighing it down or making your hair limp. They are expensive but Aveda are great products. Just an idea for ya😊

It's mostly what's going on inside our body that cause different type of hair problems. Traditional Chinese medicine can identify and diet change can help alleviate a lot of those problems too.
I’m sure he is right about what he is saying. I’d like to point out a lot of people have absorption issues from impacted small intestines. It would take a lot of herbs that pull lymph to help that.
I had a hair sunscreen years ago. I think it as from loreal. I stopped using because I didnt like the smell and the way it made my hair feel. I do wear a lot of hats because of my melasma.
My sister and I are in our 60s she has only a few strands of gray hair but alot more wrinkles. While I have a lot of gray hair with only a few wrinkles. We are opposite in foods also.I eat alot better than she does.
Repigmentation can occur when the hair still has some pigmentation; once it’s white, it’s too far gone. “Not Today Gray” supplement uses antioxidants, including B complex, copper, etc., + their topical serum, “To the Root,” which includes antioxidants, peptides (“Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide”) and amino acids.
I have always colored my hair because my natural brown is so dull and a girl needs a little fun and drama. Especially getting older where those cosmetic opportunities diminish. I am fortunate in that My hair grows so slow that I can go 8 -12 weeks with minimal touch up washing every 3rd morning. But Now losing my hair has become a challenge to find a healthy shampoo that doesn't wipe out the color to where it becomes unsustainable. I'll be looking at changing my nutrition to hopefully mitigate that.
Premature greying happens due to Adrenal Fatigue or a viral overload on the immune system. Fix your adrenal glands and have an anti inflammatory diet and lifestyle.
I am 57 next month, not one faded or grey hair, I am a redhead and told we are the last to go grey usually, but I had covid pneumonia a few years ago and lost about 60% of my hair and before that my hair was thinning due to peri-menopause too. I looked into it and started on clean collagen & silica and a hair tonic from Weleda and it took about 10-12 months, but my hair is thicker than ever. Agree with Jay also, diet etc is very important.
Your hairs got thicker not because of food..it is just change of protein structure of your new hairs. It is the same for people after chemo chemotherapy.. I lost 90 percent of hairs and my new hairs are much ticker, and appears I have much more hairs than before . Of cause good food is always important to maintain that.
@@divya715 Hi there, sorry just seen the reply, yes, I changed my diet, 2 eggs (organic) i eat every day (check Dr Berg) and I take clean collagen and silica from British Supplements and also vitamin D from the same company, I used to buy them from amazon, but not pure and the most important thing I found that made a difference is Weleda revitalising hair tonic, its £13-£14 and it lasts ages, but I have found that's amazing. Oh also 2 brazil nuts and 2 walnuts a day and tea spoon or 2 of pumpkin seeds and also progesterone natural cream online (no HRT). When I say my hair's gone from being so so thin, failing out everyday everywhere, to now 5 or so hairs in my brush and that's not exaggerating. It took over a year or so, but worth it, but one thing I would recommend is the Weleda and eggs!. x

Thanks Clare. Great information. I am always amazed when people reverse their greys after chemotherapy/ immunosuppresant therapy. Something in the treatment must be affecting that one grey hair gene mentioned here. I do take many of the beneficial vitamins seperately. Although if i take too much selenium i get alopecia ( typically at the crown). I still have grey hair so i wonder how much i am absorbing the vitamins.
Could be genetics playing their part there. Like you, I take the vitamins mentioned but I guess there are so many other factors linked to how well we absorb nutrients. Glad you found the info helpful!
Right, another antioxidant supplement to buy. I was eating antioxidants all my life growing up, but I started to go grey when I was 19y.o. My grandma was into her 70s when she still had a lot of black hair. She wasn't the healthiest eater. Also I eat avocados a day, and I still have tons of gray roots. I call that supplement a snake oil, but to each their own.
My hair started going gray when I began intermittent fasting, which explains the nutritional deficiency. I didn’t make the connection until I had done daily fasting for about a year and a half. Now I wish I had just fasted maybe once or twice a week
Had my first grey hair at age 15. Now 46 and my hair is still mostly dark brown with a smattering of platinum on top and blonde/silver highlights by the temples. Love my natural highlights btw and I finally look the age I have always felt (people always said I was 12 - or whatever age I happened to be at the time - going on 40). My hair and skin has become suddenly very dry this year but now I put rose oil and natural hand cream on my face, castor oil on my hands at night, and marula oil on my hair and this seems to keep the tight rough dry feeling at bay.
I can only say that entering Menopause changed completely my hair! Becareful because in my case I didn't have Testosterone and loss alot of hair, coarse hair, my hair has not been the same!

I honestly hate grey hair, it adds at least a decade to some women. I myself (fortish)have a lot of grey hair which I dye. The whole grey hair trend is fine but I always, always look at women who deliberately keep their grey hair and say to myself: wow, she'd look so much younger with dyed hair. sorry 😔
It’s such a personal thing this. I think some people look great with uniform grey. Personally, I prefer to cover my straggly bits of grey at the front but I can understand why others feel it’s an expensive hassle. Thanks for sharing your opinion!
Its one of the worst things a woman can do. You become grey/iron like and then as you age the skins pigment becomes lighter and you look like a ghost. I'll never understand some older women. It essentially erasing your femininity.
I got a lot of gray hair when I was 32 cause I was breastfeeding. My father in law told me that I should eat avocado to reverse the gray hair. It worked at the moment. But now I'm turning 40 and Im turning gray. The avocado advise is not working aymore.
Thank you! Nothing majorly new around the jawline (I get botox in my elevens once every 9 months or so and had that done just before this vid) but I am roller massaging my skin in that area a little more aggressively these days to flush the skin and I also introduced the Nira every other day a few months back. Maybe that has helped.
Many years ago before even used chemicals our ancestors still got white hair, especially at the front. I read it was to show superiority within your 'tribe', as you got older. Also a lot of older men who have never used a lot of chemicals on their face often have white hair at the temples.
Just try to use beauty products that are cleaner. You can wash your face with organic jojoba oil, wipe with a warm wet face towel after massaging. You can use brands that are more natural, or use things such as shea butter to moisturise your face.
Hi, This is Jay Small from the interview. In terms of chemical overlap and the front hair line, this is only one of many things that can contribute to your hair line turning grey and eventually white first. In my experience the pigment near the front hair line can change earlier and at a higher percentage then the rest of the head specifically the back. One of the reasons is chemical overlap from beauty products that contain harsh (not clean) ingredients. The other factors that can specifically effect the front hair line is sun exposure, chemical dyes and relaxers. Throughout my career I have observed thousands of clients and these are the causation factors associated with those that have had either premature or concentrated grey / white hair at the front hair line.
I think this works only for people who are only diet challenged. Young people get this too 90-100% white hair it is in fact genetic with those people. Tyrosine is the key for the future elimination of white hair once and for all. I think they are close to doing this which would be amazing.
Hello, does that palmitoyl work only on hair follicules? Just want to make sure that its use won't affect the skin on your face. Need no more melamine there.
Hi, Yes it is safe to use Arey To The Root Serum with a laser light cap, I would recommend waiting until the serum has absorbed / dried before starting the laser cap treatment.
My facial hair turned clear white in my 20s. Never smoked or had alcohol. Eat blueberries like crazy. Eggs all the time. Not sure how I could figure out what nutrients I'm deficient in if any.
Jay sells a supplement that is linked in the description. If you check out the ingredient list you can take a look at the most important nutrients listed. Like I said at the end, I realized I’m already taking most of them in my multivitamin
While we're at aging: Can you make a similar video on Hair darkening with age? I am naturally blonde, was always very fair, but with time my hair started to get darker. Especially the last 10 years. I am 53 now and suddenly my hair is dark blonde, i would say medium brown. My mother, who was also blonde, instead started getting gray in her forties, as my whole family on mother's side does. I prefer being dark than gray, but dont like it. What's the process behind getting (much) darker, and can we reverse it? (I have to mention that for reasons other than hair, i am taking a lot of supplements since i was 44. Perhaps that prevented the graying).
Can’t find any scientific evidence to support that idea. This is an interesting article on this subject www.healthline.com/health/does-wearing-a-hat-cause-hair-loss

I always hated my red hair when young but now that I am in late 60s it just got lighter as true redheads we do not go gray just blonde
Beautiful!
That is so cool
The same
I still remember a couple who had gray hair.

He’s lovely. So easy to talk to!
He's very truthful, don't expect anything. I appreciate honesty.
Right, he basically had very little to offer and is not reversing white hair yet. Just selling a product that is unproven so far.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Very interesting.

What cleanse did you do?
What products did you use to do the cleanse pls?

years ago I went to the Optimal Health institute in Lemon Grove, Ca. People were not using topicals. It was a lifestyle cleansing facility. People were getting their color back in hair.
Wow!
Yes it is very real ! Have you heard of melatine? It is made by time health. I am thinking of trying this for the greys.
Thank you, I was curious about reviv
The solution is acceptance of what is a totally natural process. If all women stopped dying their grey hair and just focused on good diet, exercise, and decent makeup and clothes, we could transform how people think of grey hair. (In the 18th century people wore white wigs, and it was considered beautiful.)

Sorry to hear you went through a stressful time. It really does take its toll.
I’m sorry you went through so much stress. I also went through life altering stress in my late 40s/early 50s and I’m still recovering from it. My hair also started graying faster (and I developed psoriasis 😩).
I color my hair and have found it looks the best when I’m not overzealous with it lol
I hope your life is much better now, and your stress levels have diminished/ceased.

Sorry to hear about you experiencing the extreme stress.
Try carnivore diet to heal your thyroid. Also supplement with iodine
So sorry that you've been affected in this way. My mum also has a thyroid condition and felt very similarly.
I have thyroid too same here.😢
I'm in late 40'sha e afro hair.
My hairdresser uses collagen in my hair which helps to maintain my hair
At one time I was taking a multivitamin daily and my hair color was returning, yet I've learned vitamins aremostly synthetic, which the body can't absorb, so confusing.
Love that he started out building decks and became a hairdresser.
I agree, the advice and science around vitamins is confusing at the moment.
Usually when people change one thing towards health, they do other things too. So maybe it was something else. Also lots of vitamins are not synthetic too?
Your body was showing results though. You could do research on natural vitamins and take them.
Or, copper, but be sure, it doesn't cut into your zinc
Will it work for beard ?

My dad died tragically when I was 24 and I got a strip of grey hair in the front of my face. A year later it went away. I'm 43 now and have seen my first grey hair again 😮
I’m so sorry you lost your dad so young.
That happened to me too when my dad died. It went away.
Thanks
Marula oil once a week, let it soak in for at least an hour before washing out. Will leave your hair smooth and shiny x
If they say it didn’t work, then it didn’t work. I’m not sure that’s about expectation. I’d be happy to get a little back, but I’m not gonna spend the money and time at this stage because I’ve been gray for years.
Ok lol.
Because i have a lot of gray, Its so frustrating that i need root touch ups just 2-3 weeks after getting salon color work! And because Im brunette, grays are so noticeable at roots.
I hear you. Would highlights work for your hair? I'm quite dark brown underneath all those highlights and I get around 8-10 weeks out of them.
Have heard about cassia, henna and indigo mixes to naturally dye your hair?
I love my silver /gray hair. I see many young women go to the hairdresser to have silver put in their hajr. Acceptance of the inevitable. Makes life easier.
Nooooooooo 😅😅

I feel like in US the shampoos all make your hair frizzy and unrully, just so you buy million other products to fix it🤦♀️
Sometimes it can be the difference in the water that affects your hair. I noticed mine was much frizzier on our recent trip to Southern California.
The Pantene Smooth & Silky formulation especially which has more of the defrizz or smoothing component (I assume), but I'm glad you posted this because I've definitely noticed it! 😊

I have always colored my hair because my natural brown is so dull and a girl needs a little fun and drama. Especially getting older where those cosmetic opportunities diminish.

I've tried this in my 30's. Took it for years. It didn't work.
Isn't that simply addressing an iron deficiency?
Didn’t work for me either.
Sorry to hear this - and thank you for sharing your experience with us.
@@thehonestchannel Yes and you know what was the worst part? I visited 3 doctors and they all said the same everything is normal! I knew something was not. I ended up searching and searching for solutions until I received Bioidentical Hormone Replacement.
I agree 😔, many times I see women my age embracing the greying hair (that's great, I'm happy for them). But truthfully it ages them.
Totally agree, I hate it too
Its one of the worst things a woman can do. You become grey/iron like and then as you age the skins pigment becomes lighter and you look like a ghost. I'll never understand some older women. It essentially erasing your femininity.
Dark dyed hair that doesn't match older skin just says " dyed" too IMO.
I have grey hair, more on the white side; I love them!
Blue berries, black berries, blue green algaes. Kale, spinach, sea weeds, mineral dense nutrients.
I got a lot of gray hair when I was 32 cause I was breastfeeding. My father in law told me that I should eat avocado to reverse the gray hair. It worked at the moment. But now I'm turning 40 and Im turning gray. The avocado advise is not working aymore.
Love your makeup Claire! You must share your lipstick and blusher ❤
Blush is a little strong , I’m sure she has beautiful natural skin color . Lipstick is great, just my opinion.
Thank you! The blusher is just a cheap one by Rimmel in Wild Card and I think I was wearing Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in 90s Pink ❤️
Great Video. Interesting Discussion. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wearing a hat to stop oxidative stress from sun. 37:23 Didn’t actually think about that 😊
Blueberry, avocados 🥑, eggs….
love the Scottish accent, beautiful...
Thank you! 😊
Once you lose it reversing it is not possible. Preventing it is possible
There are lots of people who are grey these days, and it looks quite presentable.
Absolutely.
I take both Foti and Amla and my hair stopped changing and most of it has come back to its normal color.
If the tables encourage melanin production in the hair, then does this mean we will have more pigmentation on the skin, too?
Melanin in skin decreases as you age also.
Clare - your jawline looks tighter here. Have you tried something to create this? Thank you!
Thank you! Nothing majorly new around the jawline (I get botox in my elevens once every 9 months or so and had that done just before this vid) but I am roller massaging my skin in that area a little more aggressively these days to flush the skin and I also introduced the Nira every other day a few months back. Maybe that has helped.
@@thehonestchannel What do you use or do to do roller massaging please? Also what is Nira? Thank you. Wonderful video!
Hi Claire, have heard about Dr Sister’s inner beauty tablets? Do you mind to look into it? Thank you, always enjoy listening to you☺️
I’ll take a look to see if there’s some good evidence attached. Thanks for flagging
I’ve made a note of this. Thanks!
Thank you so much! I can’t wait to hear your input on this! 🥰🤗
Saptamrit loha, and amalaki rasayan by planet Ayurveda is what I recommend for my patients.
So he said that the reason we go grey on our front hairline is the overlap of chemicals?! Wish he'd said more and explained how to avoid this.
Many years ago before even used chemicals our ancestors still got white hair, especially at the front. I read it was to show superiority within your 'tribe', as you got older. Also a lot of older men who have never used a lot of chemicals on their face often have white hair at the temples.
What he said is not true. :)
@@JaySmall-ny4sp Thanks so much! So basically make sure none of your face creams get onto the front hair line?
I have 65 years old and some gray hair coming out now!
First grays at 65 is good going!
I think this works only for people who are only diet challenged. Young people get this too 90-100% white hair it is in fact genetic with those people. Tyrosine is the key for the future elimination of white hair once and for all. I think they are close to doing this which would be amazing.
My sharpei dog began graying, and suddenly he looked white silver and gold, was even more beautiful with his muscular build
I bet he looks gorgeous ❤️
What's the problem with wanting to take the clock back ?
I have a mix of full pigment hair strands to half pigment and white hairs
Great tips. Thank you for sharing~~~
Thanks for watching!
Grey is beautiful
My hair turned curly. I call it my "menopause perm".
😂 That's a good one!
Hello, does that palmitoyl work only on hair follicules? Just want to make sure that its use won't affect the skin on your face. Need no more melamine there.
Hi, Yes the PM-20 (peptide) you are referring to only effects the melanin in the hair follicles and not the melanin production in the skin.
At checkout it doesn't seem to be available in the United Kingdom or Ireland?
Great info tysm ❤
Thanks for watching!
Can we use the serum with laser hair cap? Is it safe? Thanks!
I’m going to ask Arey Grey if someone could take a look at the questions here so hopefully you’ll get a reply soon.
Likely genetics at play there.
@@thehonestchannel I guess what I'm asking is what blood tests you can get to discover your deficiencies. Copper? Iron? B12? What else?
I DONT know what vitamin and supplements I am to take? No one said what the name? Just a few individuals nameB12
Jay sells a supplement that is linked in the description. If you check out the ingredient list you can take a look at the most important nutrients listed. Like I said at the end, I realized I’m already taking most of them in my multivitamin
Before anything, start drinking pure clean chemical free water. Not from plastic! Glass and stainless steel.
Would the more naturally derived henna colour(s) also be negatively impacting the scalp?
No
@Anonymous1dskjoadi93 Thanks, because I had hair falling out since I started the henna but must be something else then
@@blablabla3147 maybe u got low quality henna… if ur living in the west forget getting good quality henna even online.
I remember when I found my first greys around the age of 31..I actually pulled them out..lol. bad idea!!!. Just go with the flow use color
I did the same 😁
Am I the only one who feels like this man has no idea what he's talking about is just making things up as he goes 🤣
Look into Grey Fahy.
While we're at aging:
Can you make a similar video on Hair darkening with age? I am naturally blonde, was always very fair, but with time my hair started to get darker. Especially the last 10 years. I am 53 now and suddenly my hair is dark blonde, i would say medium brown. My mother, who was also blonde, instead started getting gray in her forties, as my whole family on mother's side does.
I prefer being dark than gray, but dont like it.
What's the process behind getting (much) darker, and can we reverse it?
(I have to mention that for reasons other than hair, i am taking a lot of supplements since i was 44. Perhaps that prevented the graying).
I’ll keep this question in mind for future guests.
Sunshine. Blonde hair gets lighter in the sunshine and as a young person you spend more time outdoors. I have winter haircolour and summer haircolour.
Don't hats make male pattern baldness worse
Can’t find any scientific evidence to support that idea. This is an interesting article on this subject www.healthline.com/health/does-wearing-a-hat-cause-hair-loss
Hi, is there a way to get these products in the UK? Website says USA and Canada
I believe they're looking to extend shipping to the UK and other countries soon. You can email them at hey@areygrey.com for info.
Love the recommendation to eat more avocados, but chickens' eggs are cholesterol bombs.
That's outdated warning.... Look deeper into what new studies have shown and why you should be eating eggs and the truth about cholesterol.
