I agree with Scott, that kitchen scene with Luke & Loreli was my favorite of he and her. We finally get to hear his complete love for her that we have always suspected but never actually heard. GG had to end with Luke & Loreli’s getting married or it would have ruined the whole show for me.

Omg nailed the kitchen scene. That spoke so much to me for Luke and Lorelai. I rewound it like 3 times to watch! He said all the things i was feeling as a viewer bout their relationship and wanted to hear as a viewer.
I was devistaed when they broke up and she got with christopher i cried and felt horrible. i hated it.
Here's what should happen next for those who like me long to see more -----
Rory should have Logan's baby, but Jess will be the only guy in her life to care for the girl. At the same time Logan will have two girls, privy and determined. Since he married a Russian one of his daughters would be playing the violin and the other studying astronomy. Elegant ladies, Honor types. Rory's daughter would be just like Rory and try as he might not, Logan would love her the most, and here and there help her out. Rory's daughter would be named Ricky, after grandpa. She would be just like Rory was as a kid, but her older aunt Gigi would be the playful bad girl light in her life. Rory's book sold well enough to get her a home and she opened her own book shop. She lives in the town and is still friends with Lane. Jess is writing books and helping out Luke by running the diner, since Luke retired and is living with Lorelei in the same town. No one says Ricky can't get into Yale if she stays at Stars Hollow High so she's there, with Steve and Kwan and Suki's kids. She's a freshman doing her best and wanting to try everything - cheerleading, track, drama.... at the same time she tries her best to get along with her half sisters she sees every time she spends time with her dad Logan. Kirk has a kid and his kid is a total dork in school, but people don't bully him - the next gen is made of nicer people, they care about each other, they accept each other, they fight for the climate, they are decent kids who also care about their town - which makes old Taylor cry
Is there a hope for another season ?

I highly doubt it. From what I’ve seen, the revival was not well-perceived by many. I doubt they’ll spend money filming another season when the first one wasn’t popular at all.

I thought there were a lot of strong male roles on Gilmore Girls. Maybe some cliche, maybe some current pc stuff thrown in there (Do we really believe Luke cares what people choose to eat?) The men in Gilmore Girls are strong and I really appreciate their maleness. Luke reminds me of my sister’s husband Paul (not forgettable) who actually owns a cafe on a corner in a NJ town. Chestnut Street Cafe, Nutley, NJ.

I loved Scott's reaction there! That hmmmm...could be with the look I started cracking up! 😂😂 He is right though if it were Jess' kid Logan would not fight for her, Jess he would definitely still fight for her if it was the other was around! 💕 Jess is the one that truly loved her like Luke loved Lorelai he is right about that! I loved his reaction though great!

I mean, let's think about it... If Netflix/Warner Bros would want to end the story on "Gilmore Girls: A Year in Life" they would end it differently, not with such cliffhanger, I mean at least with Rory.
Idk Amy Sherman Paladino always intended to end the original series exactly like that.
She just wasn't there for the final season.
That's how she wanted it to end yes but that's because there was a rumor they were going to end the series with a 2 hour movie after the four words. I think that's why the were happy to get more time but it should have happened earlier and without the musical. The material needed more.

They are and they aren't. For example, he's a grump who doesnt like being dragged around to all the town events EXCEPT that he secretly does, he just can't admit to it. He needs Lorelei to sort of "make" him do these things that he cant admit he really secretly loves.
