Gilmore girls is so far above Friends intellectually. The references in each episode were mind blowing. I've read that Lauren understood the most references during table reads, but even she didn't understand them all. Just the Yale secret society stuff is VERY relevant today. If you want to understand what is going on with the pandemic and politics, do a deep dig on Yale secret societies. That's just one example. Absolutely brilliant show. Id love to sit down and chat with ASP.
25:17: Lauren says she didn't know that the final four words "was a thing" but previously she has said 're. Amy Sherman-Palladino's infamous last four words: "If I knew, I'd tell you! I'm going to ask her next time I see her."' She must've forgotten? :)
Yeah and even at the ATX reunion panel in 2015, the final four words were discussed and Lauren said she doesn't want to know them. How could she have forgotten less than a year later?!
Watched them all . The original series had us wanting this revival. Honestly was a letdown. Maybe got spoiled with the more warm original , but these characters seemed out of character. Especially Rory. Logan and Rory? Loralie, I could understand. Luke, yes. Jess, maybe. Dean , absolutely. Chris, for sure. So , maybe the Rory storyline is setting up for another Jess/ Rory romance with Logan being the Father of Rory's child. The obvious Luke/Jess mirrored characters. As well as Logan/ Chris. We'll see.
Spoiler alert. Some people came up with the amazing and seemingly correct explanation that the show (s1-s6) was a fiction within a fiction--it's the story that the real Rory wrote in her script. If it was done in season 7, it would make sense. But set a decade later, the characters were that much more pathetic. Amy realized her original vision, but at the cost of ensuring I think there won't be a sequel for a long time at least.
It seems they left off with the pregnancy cliffhanger for a reason. Hopefully, even if they aged, the story focuses on Rory and the baby and a special new found love and grounding in trust and stability with Jesse. That to me would truly close the book in its entirety.
I love Lauren & she’s so humble she doesn’t realize she’s a big reason why the show is magic.
I love her book, “Talking as Fast as I can”! It explains sooo much 😊🥳 Audible brings it to life!
Please bring back Gilmore girls

@@me-ln4pdshe talks about getting rid of things fairly quickly, but yeah seems like this would be something you’d remember
Me encanta Lauren Graham, siempre con buenas vibras, aparte de ser bella.
We need a second reboot. Rory's kid would be like 8 yrs old though. I wonder if they'd wait til Rory would have had a 16 yr old
Lor as a grandma would be interesting
this was published on my birthday!!!
Jessica rocks.
Love her!!!

Agree. Some parts were hard to watch.
