Hi, great update vid, i was wondering if there is any way to have a "global search" meaning you could search a specific word in the entirety of your notes instead of Ctrl+F each note. Thx, great day
Yes there is global search but check the beginning of this video ruclips.net/video/FwR5yhd1DhE/видео.html for some current limitations. Search should be better in future updates.
@@FocusedCuriosity Got a new update last night and The web clipper now works on Windows 11 and the latest Chrome browser! But every update of Anytype and Chrome can break the bond.
Can i install this app on an external drive & use it to help organize the data that is on that drive specifically with the specific collections etc. That caters to that drive only?
Hi! Files you import into the Anytype app would live inside the app, and this counts toward storage if you plan to use their sync & remote storage. Not sure about launching the app from an external drive. As an alternative you could create a page in the app that has links to the files stored on the hard drive if you wanted to keep things separate.
@FocusedCuriosity can that be a video you make as well. I have a bunch of various external drives with a higher capacity than my laptop. By adding the files to this app, does it essentially make a duplicate file? If I am using it for locally stored files (on external drives)
So the webclipper will only work on desktop. Without a proper webclipper on mobile there really is no point using the app. This should be first priority because not having it is a mountain of friction. Evernote could do webclipping cross platform 15 years ago
Well... I don't like using mobile. My work (and personal use) is on desktop. Bigger real estate, power, convenience. So while that is an issue to you, it's fine by me.

Amazing work, thanks for the before and after comparisons!
Before & after is nice especially if it's a feature I haven't used. 🙂
Migrando agora para AnyType. Obrigado pelas orientações.
Excelente!

Oh okay, thx so much, great day
Anytime Web Clipper does not work in Windows 11 in Chrome
it does work with Microsoft Edge perfectly
Good to know about the Windows info, thanks!

@@carlos_mann Yes, it will make a duplicate file, so you don't need to keep both. Do you use Windows, Mac, Linux operating system?
nice
Thanks

@@jpaportugal When I used Evernote webclipper on mobile, I became a digital hoarder. Maybe it's better not to use mobile 🤣
