Umm, i own a gan 13 and i main the tengyun, gan is not the best cube brand, maybe for some people but definitely not mine and a lot of other people, the only "amazing" gan is the 11 m pro
@@CommercialSwineagreed this is why wr is on qiyi at the moment and not with gan. It's just person using and feeling comfortable with it. I also got my self qiyi because I am also not fun of so many corner magnets.
i’ve owned the 13 maglev for almost a month now and for me personally its great i don’t really get any lockups and despite its insane speed its really stable leading me to have no corner twists from my experience
I personally think the Gan 13 is a good cube I don’t have it but many people say it’s great but the price is just way too much for me I just got the Tornado V3
@Iliketoflipbalisongs i dont own an 11m pro but i would say probably, the customization is much simpler on the 13, i dont think the 11 had UV coating as an option i know the 13 did, on mine it feels and looks amazing. Overall I would say go with the 13 as its newer with newer technologies.
@@mrnooby3434nah there is a uv one called gan 11 m pro uv but doesn't tymon kolasinski use the gan 12 maglev uv tho ? Is Timmy wrong or am I wrong cause I'm pretty sure tymon use the gan 12 maglev
Its so weird how ever cuber likes different types of cubes I have mine at all tensions at 2 and magnets at 4 and with lubicle speed and dnm 37 and it's the best cube I've felt I love your vids lol
Warning: this comment is a pretty long nerd-out on the topic of optimal cube design. I have all the flagship Gan cubes from the 356 air to the 14 Maglev and my favorite of the bunch is still the 11 M Pro, the 12 maglev is my favorite maglev cube but I’m one of those that doesn’t like the nonexistent startup pressure of maglev cubes. Favorite cube ever is either the 11 M Pro or the Tornado V3 Flagship. If X-Man were to release a UV coated version, it would definitely be my favorite. I love the grip it gives, plus, scratches on the cube really irritate me. The 11 M Pro has UV but doesn’t move quite as well. The best part of the tornado V3 is the internal design. It’s easily the best at lube distribution that I’ve ever seen, that really makes a big difference. The way it holds the lube makes it so that you can add a lot more lube without overlubing the cube because it sits in all the little crevices of the pieces and slowly disperses over time. Plus, I think the spiderweb lube dispersion design of the corner pieces is far superior to Gans hexagonal design or Moyus linked diamond design. On every other cube, the lube holding design is concave, meaning it’s sunken below the level of the mating surface where the pieces rub against each other. On the tornado, instead of being a concave design, it’s convex, meaning the lube holding design rises above the level of the mating surface. Frankly, this is a hard concept to describe in text but if you know all those terms, you’ll understand what I’m saying. I really think that the thing which makes the V3 so great is it’s far superior design when it comes to lubricant. It holds it better, easily handles overlubing, and it even seems to keep the lube from deteriorating as quickly. The only downside I can think of regarding the tornado is that it’s very open and the same principles that make it hold lube very well also makes it hold debris. Also, that same design also makes it definitely the hardest to clean cube of any I’m familiar with. If you want it to be spotless, even the little indents in the edge pieces, it takes like over an hour to clean. That trade off is definitely worth it to me.
I bought this cube about a year and a half ago and it has helped me solve much faster than I would have imagined. The only downside was that the magnets in the case are too strong so sometimes get pulled out when you open it.
I am going to order one, but I collect cubes and it is worth it to have it in the collection, but my gan 356 m is good enough for solving and actually the moyu ys3m I recently got is pretty good too and is in the mid 20 dollar price range and it has all the newest features.
I'll be upgrading my Moyu weilong wrm 2021 with an upgraded core. And maglev, with some magnets I got for it. By the time I am done, it will be better than the gan 13, and more controllable. And still wont cost as much as the gan 13. Yet be even more adjustable. And stronger. I'm also taking the opportunity, and reinforcing the corner areas with carbon fiber rods, as I had one corner piece snap on me. When I am done, it will never do that again, and carbon fiber is so light, it shouldn't add to the weight all that much. Or interfere with the magnets. And it doesn't take a lot of carbon fiber to make it stronger. I'm from an old school of thought; If you get a good cube or anything else, and its not perfect, modify it till it is as close as it can get. 😏😉
just wanna say, if you don't know about it, get the V3 tornado, if you don't like it, then get the gan 13. you wont be wasting 80 dollars if you did the gan first but liked the tornado
This is probably the only standard rubik’s cube that I’d buy. Not worth shit logically for me if I’m getting a cheap one, and other expensive ones are not hitting a mark I like. Speed is something I love. Magnets are sik
Speedcubing used to be a cheap hobby back when I started in 2008. I refuse to pay 84 bucks for a cube, I will never have a world record, I'm just fine doing barely sub10 with a 3€ cube thank you.
