until a recent build, i used copper with blocks that fit with orange and fully oxidized copper because I never waxed copper before that point. if you let it oxidize, it helps to visualize your build and build pallet next to the oxidized copper, so you know if you want to change the pallet or wax your copper first.

It would be a waste of materials just to fill in an entire hollow hill. What you should do when terraforming is double stack the blocks when building up the layers, like how Fwhip does it when he builds a hill, rather then filling in the entire terraformed hill. It saves on resources(and gathering) while making it so breaking one block doesn't just make you fall right into the hill.

Pro tip with all of the pressure plate points in the video: if you have access to worldedit or op/Debug Stick you can set the pressure plate to "powered" mode and that will prevent it from activating if someone steps on it. Also works on buttons. The debug stick can also make sign/fence combos look more connected as you can force the fence to connect to a specific side.

Corners windows can be actually a thing, but it depends on the type of build you are, well.. building! I know that in most of them, it looks off. But some modern or futuristic architectures can some times have it without looking weird. It always depends on which is the structure you're relying on your build.
And also if you layer it right. If you make the building two blocks thick, and layer the windows on the interior wall, then you can have an exterior foundation wrapping around it- but if you flush it onto one layer, then things might start looking weird- at least that’s from my experience, I can’t guarantee it’s good experience XD$
