Hey guys. Few people asked me to make video guide for priests, because most of other video guides are pretty much outdated.
I personally didnt feel like I know enough to teach other priests how to play, since I play Tera for less than a year, and I still learn new things all the time. But I decided to give it a try and show my personal view of this class and the way I play it. Im not saying that everything I say in these guides is correct or the best way, but its the way that works for me so I wanted to share it. And who knows, maybe it even helps someone!

Watched this about 2 or so years ago, I still find this very helpful when I'm stuck on my priest
As a main Mystic I found that last drawing funny mostly because I leave Healing Motes everywere on bosses and none of my party members pick them up.. Or dodge the bosses attacks for that matter, but I do try to heal every one... When they are in my range, wich also doesn't happen often, for some reason they run from me.
Anyway, I'll be trying Priest now and this guide did shine some light in a few skills that I'll need to place on my hotbar.
Nice. Started a priest last night, been having a lot of fun playing Mystic, it is hard work..people are reckless when there’s a healer on board! This helps immensely, half the battle is even understanding what the skills actually do! +1 for the outtakes 🤪 👍🏼
This video answered most of my questions regarding healers. I enjoyed it very much! I always like to be prepared and informed before rolling a class, and now I feel more confident about making a priest.

I know this is an old video, but I wanted to thank you for the help this guide has given me. After this video I became a much better and more effective Healer during the Dugeons (Very good not to be "cursing" by the team members. Even though I know that most of the times they die it is because they run away from us).
I just wanted to say this video was absolutely perfect! You explained every skill I need and explained it all! Your voice is so cute and your funny to.

We always play as a duo and only duo (execpt for runs that require more than 2 people).
First him Slayer and me a Lancer.
Then Double Valkyrie
And now we finished him as Gunner and me as Sorcerer.
Wanted to start Warrior Priest combo and your tutorials are a great help.

For anyone new here... This woman’s videos are exactly what you need if you want a priest. Or if your friends are nagging you to heal.
Just remember what she says, it’s a long hard road. People LOVE to point the finger at the healer. But don’t let that get you down. It takes thick skin to be a healer.

I always found that I enjoyed healing and reviving others (for the thanks, mostly) and I'm not good at combat because I'm panicky, but I always wondered, "What if I'm a Priest and I need to fight, but everyone's down and the boss is coming for me?" Well, this video helped me to decide that I'd go with being a Priest, mainly because I'd rather put my all into healing rather than do insignificant damage and not heal as good. I guess you could argue that Mystics may have some good/decent damage skills, but why be an average Mystic when being a good Priest is a better option? Thanks a bunch, I'm getting my new computer in two months after being PC-less for a year because my laptop busted, and my first download will be TERA. I'm doing research on what class I want. This helped a lot! I'll come back to this video once I get my desktop :)
I'm still a newbie to TERA, I had a level 35 Archer but I got bored of TERA and uninstalled it, then I came back and made a Priest and this is helping a lot. Still only level 20 and I have a lot to learn ;l

FAQ:
1. Why I don't have 5 buffs from this video? - With awakening patch all buffs are merged into 1: Blessing of Shakan III so be happy that you can rebuff everyone with just one click :)
2. Will I do updated version of priest guide? - Not in near future. Maybe once I move to my own place where I'll have more privacy to do voice over guides again :)
3. Will I do mystic guide? - Nope. Maybe Ill do instance POV videos, but not the guide itself. But you can always send me a question here or on facebook page if you struggle with something and I'll try to help.
Also THANK YOU all for amazing comments, it feels amazing when I am actually able to help someone who just entered our healing brotherhood :)

So idk what it is about my priest, but I just started playing as one yesterday. Played for about 4 hours to level 35 and Devine Radiance has been killing dungeon bosses with three hits. Idk if it is just because priests are stronger at lower levels? But it’s pretty crazy.

Girl.. What an amazing guide. I have a Mystic, just started playing as a healer, it seems to suits me very well ^^
I was worried about which type of support should I play. I didn't know some of the priest skills, like the revive yourself, the one that heals you insanely fast, and some other... The only thing that makes me doubt about mystic or priest is the cleanse stuff...
+Sorcey Thanks :). Both priest and mystics are amazing, but when Im on priest I miss crit aura and thrals, and when Im on mystic I miss Kaia shield and bunch of big heals xD. And yeah, cleanse is a bit harder on mystic since you have to aim it, and ppl always panic and run around when they get debuff xD
***** Tell me, how long is the cooldown for Priest's cleanse? There's a debuff in Timescape that must be cleared in the next 5 seconds or it will be permanent. What if you miss?
I have it at around 3 sec, so I rather spend 3-4 secs waiting to get all ppl in range in Timescape. And if some of them is way too far, dont even worry, they will get stunned far away from boss dmg anyway and you can just heal them up xD

I was hoping people will see my note in video about those xD. They merged all 5 buffs into 2 so now its much easier to buff ^_^

Only a small piece,in my opinion, Guardian santuary is not useless in pve , in contrast , can avoid injury death ( Instakill ) using it along with Kaia shield .
For example in Forsaken Island, at the stage of ghosts if you use the two skills you can survive .
I use it when I think I get a lot of damage to the priest (the idea is to avoid it , but not always possible )
PD: elin's priest!!
+AmyMeyer02 Hmmm for me Kaia shield works alone against ghosts in Forsaken, are you sue Guardian helps in that case? I will have to test it out and see, coz any info I ever saw about that skill is that its useless in PVE so tbh I didnt even bother testing it :(
+DeviliciousAngel Yes, I thought so too but another priest taught me to use normal Timescape. I think just using Kaiah you can not survive if you do not take the ghost, you need to apply guardian, I've tried it and run 5% of life, is only in extreme cases (I am clueless T_T).
If a lancer with its ability to increase endurance in your party, your life is like 30%.

I'm only 63 right now, but I only have 2 buffs and don't see the other 3 on my skill list for when I get 65. Do I get the last 3 when I'm 65 or is this something new with the ninja patch?
+Emily C You should have all of your buffs by now. Re-check your skills, maybe you missed them :)

Hey, just figured... If you play on diff Tera version and you got Ninja class before Tera EU, then you have only 2 buffs as a priest since they combined all 5 into those 2. Maybe that was the issue
i know this is an old video and you might not see this, but for some reason healing immersion wont lock on to anyone for me.. not sure why, i press the skill button and hover over someone and it doesn't lock on... am i doing something wrong?
Riley H hmmm no idea why that happens, maybe someone who had same problem sees your comment and helps out :(, I never had problems with immersion. Let me know if u find out
Hi! Could you also make a Mystic Guide? I'm deciding whether I want to play a mystic or priest. Also, thank you for the video, it's unusual to find good Tera class guides on RUclips anymore! :)
I started working on a mystic guide last month but in meantime I got full time job so now I struggle to find some time to edit it and make a final video. But I do advise you to start as a priest if you didnt play any healer class yet. Mystic is a bit more complex since now its turned into support/dmg class, and it takes a longer time to master it, but once you do.. its just amazing! So in end its up to you, or just wait another month for my mystic guide ^^

I am having trouble with the Grace. Even though the buff is on me, when I die, it still makes me pay and revive in a way everyone else has to. I tried it so many times and it never gave me an instant free rez.. Does it not work in some dungeons??
hmm did you try to decline that rez? I have to test that on my alt priest and see how it works
I thought about that but never tried as I was scared I'd end up having to walk over to the dungeon! I'll do that next time, thank you :>>

If I may ask.... I usually like to play mages and priest looks cool but .. priest is a healer and I am not good in healing. I like to deal damage,good damage even from the begining and sorcerer is a mage class but he is kinda ... not that kind of mage that I thought he is. My questions is.. What is the best burst class that is mage/ranged ?
Well sorc is kinda only proper mage class, but its a bit tricky to master. Try gunner maybe? Not a mage, but ranged and big damage pretty much from start

yes, 5 buffs were merged into only 2 for fast buffing so dont worry, you got all of them ^_^

I remember loving Guardian Sanctuary back in AINM/AIHM because you could just pop that when the lava comes in and then BAM, no fire debuff! Nowadays though, it's definitely far more useful in PvP. Also I need to change my buff chains now because I wasn't thinking logically when I set it up a few months back. I for whatever reason had it chained in order of importance with Shakan - Balder - Seren - Arachne - Zenobia, but it makes sense the Seren is more important than Balder. Oooops.

+Zelda Kitten umm i dont agree :/ my order is pwr-endu-movspeed-hp-resist. Becouse the last two is not that important, but 4 me as priest the zenobia is pretty important to move faster around the battlefield and if i die i can fast rebuff myself with the 1st 3. (Also slaying runs...)
+BarisTheBlade I wonder if we will be able to buff Zenobia in combat too once they merge the buffs in next content. It will be amazing! And all these chains wont matter at all since you will have only 2 buffs ^_^
yeah, we pretty much wont have to worry about puffiez anymore becouse we will have 2, what will be ezpz to use. But still we have to w8 for it and my rebuff rules during combat: For pro dps who died accidently becouse of lag or st: pwr only. Nab dps. Pwr-endu. If i die: pwr-endu-movspeed. (lemme watch video with sounds :p)
+BarisTheBlade 1 thing. gs works at sch 1st boss at the little aoe stun, u can facetank the aoe and cleanse the nabs :3

Hi there ! I need some help... with my buffs :-) i want to chain all 5 buffs . A long time ago i was able to chain them all on my old priest and now when i come back on the game i saw i can't do it anylonger . Can you tell me if is possible and if it is ,can you tell me the order ? btw video was cool , and i finded a lot of usefull thigs :-) ty
+Cristy Nita Check your chain skills, because it might be checked that they display only in combat, you have to uncheck that option and it should be fine. I chain my buffs in this order: power, endurance (those 2 are most important and should be first in line for easier rebuff after u revive someone), for rest of them order doesnt matter that much. Also soon priests gonna get a buff "merge" so we will have only 2 main buffs: Blessing of Arun: combines Blessing of Shakan and Blessing of Zenobia. Blessing of Shara: combines Blessing of Seren, Blessing of Balder, and Blessing of Arachne. Cant wait for that!! :)

Hmm not sure if they were renamed or something with new patches since I don't play TERA for months :(. But Im sure you have buff skills as a priest, just read trough all your skills and you will find them :)

Does priest does damage I love damaging and healing
Well while I was still playing TERA priest had really low damage unless you used dmg rolls on gear, dmg glyphs etc.. But if you want a class that heals and dmgs you should try mystic :)
Yeah, I always liked priest more than mystic. I might just play healer even if it doesnt damage but its true if priest had high damage everyone will become priest

how the healing skills got more range than before like healing circle the healing range bigger than before
well maybe it changed over time with all the class change patches. I didnt notice the difference since I dont play Tera for that long.

i actually find mystic quicker and easier to level and faster to level from lv 10 on where u get the phrall of justice because ur got not 1 but 2 attack pets out at the same time increaseing the damage u do while your spamming heal ballls for the party

Its a mod for crit animations, but I have no idea how my friend installed it for me, you will have to google "crit flower mod" ^^

Heya, check 3rd part of my priest guide, you have some gear details there :). I change my crystals depending on dungeon because sometimes you need more HP, sometimes more endurance, sometimes more healing or more crit... ^_^
