Crazy what Epic is trying to get away with recently. First, the Diesel Car being priced at a whopping 4,000 V-bucks upon release, then the Jam tracks being 500 V-bucks a pop, then they started separating items away from their respective bundles in order for you to pay more to buy the whole set (e.g. Wraps not included in bundles, or not even in the shop entirely when it's set is), then the LEGO kits being ridiculously overpriced for what you get with them comparative to skins, and now the sneaky exclusion of back blings and other secondary accessories on higher rarity outfits. I think they're increasing prices and over-inflating stuff so that they can earn more income to fund Unreal Engine and the larger game itself, but its a wild tactic. It's crazy that with a fanbase like the Fortnite community, who are more than willing to support the game and spend money on it, that they are actively being driven away from buying anything new because it's not worth it. Thank you for taking a stance on the situation, and not just blindly buying and grinding everything for the sake of your business. I think now it's Epic's turn to make a statement regarding the item shop, and try to standardize and normalize the cosmetic pricing in the game.
You hit the nail on the head. I pray all the Fortnite players learn how to think and analyse what Fortnite has done exactly how you explained. Any RUclipsr who tells you those prices are okay and justified is taking all their viewers for fools all in the name of greed for themselves. We need all the content creators to get together on this topic and be honest and stand up against Epic. They have literally made billions of dollars. They most certainly don't need the money. Again, it comes back to greed!
You forgot the Lamborghiny being 3.500 WITH THE LOWERED PRICE, imagine if we didn't get an outrage on it and it had the original prices, that could have been easily 5.500, alao it is very outrageous, cause in Rocket League it only costs 2.000, WITH THE SAME STUFF mind you, so they increased the price of it for nothing.
Not the video I expected from you. I love collecting my skins, I definitely don't buy every single thing anymore, but yeah. I'll typically not buy things I don't see the value in anymore, I thought I'd get more out of the LEGO sets, and I didn't. I'm definitely not buying anymore of those until things change 100%. You can't increase the V-Bucks price and skimp out on cosmetics, you can't do both.

Ive been saying this for years that they should stop overpricing skins
I DISAGREE WITH THE WHOLE SHOP for the past 6 months ever since Season: OG, the shops HAVE BEEN TERRIBLE. Yes I agree about the prices being high but we need our voice for them to care about the shops. 30 day rotational items are now weekly to every two weeks, they dont give what the community wants. On twitter everyone wants kratos but weve been getting everything but kratos. We need separate shops for each mode. We want variety again. We need the shops to be a little more exciting again.
I agree, especially when there are some Legendary skins costing 2,000 vbucks without edit styles and skins like Ruby for example, who has 4 styles for the just the price of 1,200 vbucks
And Aura has 3 styles for an 800 vbuck skin, Manic has 3 as well and then there is Hael coming in at 1200 vbuck that's a HELL NO TO HAEL😂🤣

@@theballpythonproject6598 the pricing between rarities was never consistent as I said earlier. Just compare a bunch of different rarity skins with their prices and whether or not they have extra stuff like pickaxes, backpacks or multiple styles and you’ll see what I mean
@@shadow-squid4872 sort of yes and honestly I can only think about legendary skins being 2000. Below that, Im sure they varied at times. So I guess the bigger concerns is will they stay consistent with backbling/built in pickaxe, type pricing as they have in the past.

I cannot up vote this more. These prices are absolutely getting out of hand. I see now their latest tactic is putting skins in the store that have bundles and put all of the pieces separately instead. It’s an absolute scumbag move.

i remember when festival phaedra came out she used to be uncommon rarity but somehow cost 1200, turns out she had a backbling but it felt forced just to up the price then a patch later they made her rare, feels like epic is trying really hard to make people spend more
Good on ya Pizo more content creators in the community should speak out on Epic's BS because you guys actually have a voice that can be heard. There are a lot of issues present in the current game that non of the big creators talk about because of potential fears of losing there current relationship with Fortnite/Epic. Pizo, u should speak out more often on these issues, encourage others to do the same and hopefully start a trend we're content creators actually callout epic games for whatever issues are a foot.
Piz0, you should start constructing video essays addressing issues with the game and solutions on how to fix them. You should pivot your channel in this direction and be the voice for the 'common player'. Real talk, since you channel is heavily based around cosmetics you should start with addressing the issues with the current locker system. Its is confusing and convoluted and I feel discourages the average player for using it because how unintuitive it is to use.

This, paired with not bringing back/adding many bundles and/or sometimes leaving out certain items from a Set forcing you to buy the whole bundle for it instead (assuming the bundle is even in the Shop at that time, as stated), plus the ridicilous prices on the new cosmetics and the V-Bucks price increases, paired with how awful the rotations have been in the Shop for the last several months is just... heartbreaking. I respect what you do and I respect your choice to not continue doing said thing. Something desperately needs to change in terms of the Item Shop. I always viewed Fortnite as the lesser of the evils as things were relatively affordable in comparison to other games but it seems that that is no longer (going to be) the case.

you're the goat for this, man. seeing epic continuously do this and nobody bats an eye, it shocks me. if its a skin i genuinely do like without a back bling, i will buy it. but i REALLY need to like it for it to be worth it. at that point it really just needs to be uncommon. and even if the back bling isnt the most flashy thing ever, it isnt the hardest thing to make a minimal back bling that matches with the skin. i get this leaves it up to the community to make combos with the skin instead of just going with what it comes with, but that doesnt make it acceptable and worth the price

Thank you Pizo! Epic Games pricing on cosmetics has to change! Across everything! I don’t buy jam tracks because $5 a song feels crazy and instruments you barely see costing $8 and $10 is way too high. Lego I don’t play but feels stupid to buy. And cars I think are still too expensive however they also crossover with rocket league and prices are pretty close if not the same to their pricing in that game so I don’t complain I just don’t buy that either. I also think bundles for skins have gotten higher they don’t feel like deals like they use too! Thanks for taking a stand Pizo!

The issue is these new items lack any other pros, other than what we buy them as, or they're just expensive right off the bat
A great example of this are the festival instruments. Their only usable in one mode, rather all other modes like as a backbling or pickaxe

Mad respect to ya. I think they've gotten away with their greed too long. It's been a couple years since I unsubbed from Fortnite Crew and I never looked back. And when I got Battle Passes after that, it was by floating V-Bucks over from prior passes instead of feeding the machine any more money.
Then I decided to break my streak of getting every Battle Pass and put the game down. I think that was when Chapter 4 started. THAT was hard.

When I saw this I was thinking it was odd it had the same pricing as the old rare skins in early chapter 1 and I don't think it should go back to that.

I always thought it was strange the Brite bomber didn’t have a backbling but dark bomber did. I bought Brite gunner for the backbling and have never used him in 4 years.

Honestly, I'm really glad you're doing this. Epic is trying to see how much they can push higher prices to the new audiences brought in by the new game modes, and we need to push back before they start thinking they can get away with raising prices more and more.

Look I know I don't have a voice here, and I don't really have a say in anything, but I genuinely think that a full boycott of every purchasable cosmetic in fortnite NEEDS to happen. Epic has completely shut down on us, and they won't change their ways, unless we force them.

The price points aren't even the only problem. The changing of UI's also needs to be a demand. Our new current ones are bad, inferior and buggy.

It really pisses me off that so many big Fortnite content creators aren't speaking up on this issue that's been going on for months ever since the beginning of Chapter 5. Certain bundles being omitted to get people spend more money, same cosmetics being recycled over and over again, & now Vbuck prices being ridiculous. From jam tracks, to LEGO kits, car bundles, & even skins. Epic isn't going to listen unless these big content creators do the same as you & actually speak up about it.
