Two backblings that always look great on Midas and are themed: 1. Oro Sol (Orelia's solar backbling), 2. Solid Skull (the unlockable backbling from the Chapter 4 Season 1 Most Wanted quest set), a golden skull with floating spikes and a crown if you upgraded it to the final level during the quests.
Y'all should use the shade style of Midas and go in river Styx

@@notsasuke07buy the bundle it’s more worth it but just a heads up the only style that has the golden touch is the reactive one which I find really fucking stupid
By the way, the shade style applies the shade wrap automatically even if you don't have it equipped similarly to the gold touch, adds more value to the skin imo. Even when you drop it it stays applied just like the gold touch, though it does lose reactivity for other players.

But the Golden Touch on the default style not being applied if reactivity is turned off is a huge miss in my book. On the skin where the storyline is all about his Golden Touch, the skin doesn't always have the golden touch??? wtf? I really hate the turning-gold-reactivity-tied-to-elims gimmick on Marigold, Midsummer Midas and now Ascendant Midas, it should just be two styles, no gold and fully golden IMO. So if I want just the default style and shut reactivity off, his Golden Touch is off? That feels wrong.
I am really disappointed that you don't have an option of keeping the golden touch without Midas turning gold himself. I feel like there needs to be a 3rd option for it. Basically like this:
Option 1 (Normal) - Reactivity Off, Golden touch On
Option 2 (Reactivity On) - Reactivity On, Golden touch On
Option 3 (Reactivity Off) - - Reactivity Off, Golden touch Off
I'm hoping that's a bug!! Because you can turn reactivity off other midas skins but they still have the Midas touch.

the cape not being integrated is definitely the biggest miss of the set, from the bits of gameplay they've shown of Ares it seems like he's gonna have the same issue so that's unfortunate
other than that though the set seems awesome, it's a cool redesign of midas for his return and giving him marigold's reactivity and the shade style really adds a lot to the value
Capes are annoying and most players outside of silver or party royale dont want to use them.

Really love how this Midas has 2 Touches, and I like how even if you don't have the wrap equipped, it still has a Green that slowly becomes Gold touch
For the people wanting a gold wrap can use the Gilded Heart wrap as it blends well with the skin
I hope they also add a gold touch without the reactivity
This is my favorite Midas skin, hands down. So clean with that enchanted green look, and it’s even got the original pose that his battle pass skin has in the lobby. 👏👏
I never bought the C2S2 pass and I’ve always felt so mad about not getting Midas, I think this skin could be good enough to get over that. Skin is just so well made

The Green Style turns the wrap into the green color automatically even if you don't have the Wrap on your gun
What if you have wraps, does it still turn green?
@@MaxsRandomBS Yes, like how the non ascended version and normal Midas makes weapons gold even if you have wraps on, even if you have a completely different wrap on your weapon it will automatically change to the Green Ascended style as soon as you pickup any weapon

As somebody who has the entire Midas collection this is an amazing set! 😍 The green shade with the skeleton glow is pure bliss, the wrap fits Hades better than his own wrap! The reactivity and the whole set is very well done!
It's the best midas skin in the game. It has the gold touch.. If you put the green style on, it has the green touch. The only thing I don't like is the cape, but I hate capes anyway.
@@Lyons_T-BAGbut you have to keep reactivity on to keep Midas touch active which means no matter what after 3 kills even on the green style you have to play with the full skin gold to have the Midas touch which kinda ruins it a lot and having to get 3 kills every game just to play with full gold style will get annoying eventually if that’s the style you want
@PuKa-_-PMafia it's only 3 kills. Also if you have the midsummer Midas wrap, you can use that for the gold touch.
@@GODAIM-ANDY that’s not the point they ruined the reactivity on the skin having to get 3 kills every game will get boring fast they should of had the option to have it full gold or at least if you didn’t want it gold still keep Midas touch which is not active if you turn reactivity off on the normal or green style because you don’t want gold you can’t just say there’s a wrap you can use for gold that’s apart of a different skin set plus what about the green edit style one how will you have the touch for that with reactivity off because you don’t want the green skin to turn gold and the wrap they have for the green style turns gold no matter what after 3 kills you can’t disable that but if they fixed the reactivity or changed it then the skin will be great but until or if it ever happens I’m not a fan of the skin just my honest opinion
@PuKa-_-PMafia that's fine, you don't have to like the skin. Its not a big deal though. It's better than the marigold skin , where you have to get 7 kills to turn fully gold. You can get 3 kills within seconds of landing. People use different wraps for their combos anyway. There are plenty of gold or green wraps. Some people are just never happy no matter what epic do , there is always something people will complain about. I have the skin , and I'm not getting bored with having to get 3 kills to turn the skin gold. It looks good , normal , gold or green. I like seeing how fast I can turn the skin fully gold.

We also got the Nike bundle which has two skins, a pickaxe, and a emote (which is the same amount as Midas wrap) for the same price
The only reason Midas bundle is so expensive is because it’s a Midas skin 💀
You're already going crazy over the prices. Simpler skins cost less - because they are simple. Midas is very well designed, has 3 styles and reactivity.

Bruh stop complaining fortnite can easily increase it back in chapter 1 these bundles weren't always discounted. The skin alone is 2000 vbucks the 2 nike skins are cheaper that effects the bundle plus 2000 vbuck skins isn't a new thing it's existed since the beginning of the itemshop. I regret choosing to be a shadow of Midas instead of a ghost Because the white suit on Midas is better than the shadow suit because the shadow suit is similar to the default style Except it's a little bit darker color 😞

It is better than the original. The crown the outfit fits him better. The green style is what really gives it the edge imo. I hate the Cape BackBling, but OG midas didn't come with a good BackBling either. I really like all the Midas skins. But this is now my favourite.

@@Lyons_T-BAG sounds like coping boys and the reactivity is messed up on skin with golden touch don’t turn reactivity off or lose the touch being stuck using 3 kills gold every game will get boring even on the green style it turns gold and if you turn reactivity off because you want the green style you lose the green touch so let’s say you put the green wrap on well that won’t work because that turns gold after 3 kills no matter what without the choice to turn it off so it’s no where near better then the original 😂😂

Piz0 is definitely the best Fortnite skin reviewer we have. He's honest. He buys all his own skins. He didn't add 300 kids to send him gifts everyday. He doesn't always say everything is worth a buy. He doesn't try and guilt trip you into using his SAC.
He also always shows every edit style like even with and without capes and also shows combos… dude goes above and beyond but always shows me exactly what I wanted to see!

I tried. With the green wrap the weapon will be stuck in what looks like 1/3 gold and 2/3 green state and when you play with no wrap, the weapons don't turn gold at all. It sucks.

Only when reactivity is ON but that also turn Midas gold himself. You can't have golden touch without turning Midas into gold.

Ninja turtle is actually 4 skins and 4 pickax for 3300 but admit it all 4 of them look to similar that if they priced it anymore nobody would buy it.
I can't believe people are complaining about normal prices. Quick reminder back when item shop was chapter 1 lehendary skins were 2000 and getting them with cosmetics could go up to 4k vbucks if they had a legendary glider. Midas is a legendary skin which is why he is 2k vbucks atleast they give you a discounted bundle
