I’ve got a 2024 Accord Touring in Meteorite Grey with the gray leather interior and 5% ceramic window tint. The Bose sound system and the ultra comfy seats sealed the deal for me. Amazing car.
I got the 2023 touring in urban gray on black. Wish I could have gotten the lighter interior but I'm pretty sure I got the first touring delivered within Pennsylvania, so I didn't have much choice. Absolutely love the car
I also have a 2023 Accord touring hybrid in black and I absolutely love this car. It is so smooth great job from Honda
Ultra comfy seats? If you like sitting in a large hole. You fall into the car. Dreadful
You know you could’ve gotten Acura TLX for the same money? Or Lexus ES?
Will sell like hotcakes; this and the Camry are BEST in class!
There is not much competition left, but fully loaded Camry is 38k. At that point it is wiser to get a Lexus ES for 43k
More like only. That's a good thing.
absolute worst is hyundai and KIA.
It's pretty much the Japanese and Koreans now because GM just announced that the Malibu will be discontinued at the end of the year.
@@donaldwilson2620 Cadillac CT4-CT5 still exists
Honestly, I'm loving it more after every single video I watch about it.
Nice video keep up the good work fella
Agree with your Intro on a great video Sir. Very sleek Exterior, smooth powertrain, and a premium interior plus design. It feels luxury-like. Well done video! Thanks 🎉
Great show, thanks!
If you’re concerned about needing AWD, you shouldn’t be shopping for a sedan.
Solid professional review with key insights that generated good points in your comments section.
Good to see buttons and dials
No kidding...to see an actual fan, that you can grab easily while driving, instead of tapping on some glossy screen trying to hit the right spot, like most cars...
40 grand...for a midsize value brand? Crazy
The google tech is rock solid for me - I think your tester's internet must not be configured. I use it to navigate, change climate, and play music, and it's as good as my google home system
Really wished the accord had a 360 camera. Hope they'll add it next year. Even my 2017 Nissan has one.
Honda’s biggest mistake was not giving the CRV the same amenities as the Touring Accord. Also, since Toyota is sorta merging with Lexus in terms of quality, Honda needs to bring more Acura to the fray.
I like this guy’s videos.
We have only owned Toyotas and Hondas for the past 30 years, have owned almost all models. I have always favored how the Hondas felt over the Toyotas. The Accord by far, but currently I like the Camrys look better. One thing I don't like for sure is the size, I really enjoyed them when they were smaller.
that dark blue should come with the grey interior... but Honda only sells it with the black... that's in poor taste... Two-tone interiors FTW
44MPG- Amazing~
Not really. I have 19 with the K20 and the 6sp, and I can get close to 40 with now issue
@@danhughes1814that’s quite a bit above the rated economy. Fuelly shows most people average 28-33mpg. And if you get better than that, there is a chance you’d similarly do better than the rating here as well.
@@ALMX5DPMy 99 civic has been beating epa fuel ratings since I’ve owned it. I was getting 54 mpg when I went on vacation.
Are 23 touring accord Since new has been averaging, 48 miles per gallon. Which isn't bad for a big car and nineteen inch wheels..
I do prefer the Accord Hybrid since the only/primary propulsion method below highway speeds is the electric motor giving it EV like acceleration and regeneration with six levels… the most aggressive being similar to one pedal driving. Put another way, the torque curve on the Accord is instant, just like an EV.
that's what i like about the 11th generation hybrid accords. the 10th gen hybrid i had would get out of EV mode so fast. Plus the current hybrid is also much quieter without so much engine noise like the 10th gen.
It doesn’t really compare with the Camry. This accord is the same size as the outgoing Avalon
Very nice commentary. I'm thinking if I should get this or the Camry.
Honda should have kept the 2.0T engine because for the Hybrid in nearly every aspect like mpg, horsepower, powertrains (awd), color/upholstery/trim selections, the Camry Hybrid beats it. What was Honda thinking?
I don't know why honda won't offer optional awd with the accord. I think every other conpeteting brand does
1. Does the 2025 Carmy have steel knuckles or aluminum knuckles?
2. Approximately how many shop hours to replace new lithium ion battery in 2025 Carmy under the seat? I’m hoping the new design requires less time to be removed to get the battery out.
3. Does the 2025 Carmy have an electronically controlled variable oil pump?
4. Does the ECVT transmission in the 2025 Camry have a slush lubrication system or does it have a dry sump system like the 2024 Prius Prime?
5. Is the transmission in the 2025 Camry the PB12 transmission like in the 2024 Prius Prime which is lager than what is in the standard Prius?
6. Does the 2025 Carmy have lug nuts with bolts or did you switch to bolts like on the 2024 Prius?
7. Does the 2025 have a re-designed Two Piece timing chain cover like the 2024 Prius which was re-designed to eliminate the chances of leaks?
Yes, it’s a pretty neat system hybrid system technically it’s a auto electric car because the engineer charges the battery is two motors in the front motor is for a day drive and the second motor is the generator charge the batteries.
With cars it comes down to preference. Either or both Accord and Camry will sell well
Awesome car!
Honda cars are great, Honda dealerships, not so great
This car looks phenomenal in white with black wheels!
That's what I have the 23 touring hybrid. Pearl white with the black interior and black wheels. It looks amazing..
@@Adventureswithmike1 In white the way yours is, it looks like a class above! It's absolutely gorgeous and classy while remaining very sporty and stylish! Only wish it had an updated 2.0T motor!
@@gabevillarreal4779 I actually don't miss it. The 2.0 t. What I think call the needs to do is make a sport hybrid version. With the bigger battery and more electrical power .
Owned 3 accords right now I have a 21 sport 2.0 10 speed. There's no way this 11th gen accord is better than the 25 camry. The 11th gen accord mpg is below listed. Camry has better mpg and added awd together is making honda loyalists like me jumping ship. I will not go to acura.
Thr Camry seems to be best buy, but you can be confused with a taxi since this industry loves Camry, Honda Accord even has less fuel efficiency and more rxpensive it is more dynamic than a toyota, just think when you follow a Toyota on one lane road..good luck 😂
Gas powered Toyotas & Honda’s are desired because they will still be reliable after 12 yrs & 200k. But the 2013 Hybrid Civic doesn’t have the same life as the 2013 hybrid Prius.
All they have to do is make a non-hybrid option. Toyota went full hybrid and there will be a huge market for people who do not want a hybrid.
wish there was a wagon version
Eww why
CRV
Crossovers you sit up high and they are less fuel efficient. And the CRV looks ugly to me. The Accord is sleek and elegant. Just wishing it had a hatch to be more utilitarian
@@FlipperInc So you want a sleek and elegant wagon? Ok🤔
@@eddymahon1503 pretty damn far from a wagon.
Compare it to the Camry as you talk about the accord
That grid covering the A/C vents is removable? If not that means the vents are going to be full of dust and look nasty and even unhealthy?
Although I like the Accord, the car is simply too big. Parking is like docking a boat. Also, there is no AWD option for the Accord.
40k + tax? I don’t think so!
🔥Kase
SAY “HEY GOOGLE” ONE MORE TIME… 😡
I had to stop watching the video because it kept triggering my Google Assistant.
I'm kinda split between the Accord Touring the Camry XSE. My issue with the 11th Gen Accord is the Touring is physically appealing - especially in Blue, Urban Gray or Metallic Gray. But the new model style doesn't look as good in the lower trims. I'd think about how ugly the 11th gen was every time I saw a lower trim Accord. The Camry's don't have that large drop off in visual appeal in the lower trim versions.
I made the mistake of buying a high trim model of the newly designed Altima 11 years ago....the watching the market FLOODED with lower trim models.
It will come to price between a comparable trims. Whoever sells cheaper, sells!
The Accord is still pretty nice, but I'm team Camry all the way after the latest updates.
40k for an accord is crazy
Gas is $5.59 a gallon there @ 7:16. What a bargain!
If you’re from Canada or Europe it actually might be!
Only almost double the price of gasoline where I live. Gas is always expensive in Communist states.
I haven't looked lately, but in Norway it was like $10/gallon at one point. N o wonder all they sell is EVs.
NO power to the wheels from the ICE? Thats not correct.
I have five Hondas in my driveway ranging year wise 1995 to 2021 the best accord that we own is a 2005 Honda Accord LX 307,000 miles and 33 miles to the gallon on the highway the 2021 only averages30 miles to the gallon Honda quality and design language makes a 2021 my last Honda thanks Honda.
$40k is a ton of money for a basic 4 dr sedan
guess what it is worth EVERY penny and then some
It’s less than the average new car price.
Define “basic”. This car probably has more features than average
not when teslas and bmw mb products are 60k plus
@@user-do9ir8lv2mrather get a Lexus es350 f sport 😂
Most definitely not. You won't find plastics as cheap or flimsy on the Camry, compared to the Accord. I have one and it's a disaster. The interior plastics creak and rattle. It's been at the shop 9 times for issues not related to the powertrain. Stay away from it and get a 10th Generation instead.
I think the Accord looks more premium than the new Camry.
Well now since Camry went full hybrid I’d go Accord always liked the 10th gen with the 2.ot
"Cavernous" he says😂my daily LT1 Fleetwood's trunk is the cabin of that car. But sure it's "Cavernous" - tho LT1 doesn't sound like a cheap blender either. - But how I miss home! & good on u for NOT being in East LA this time! FR tho Honda looks better. Toyota is just Fugly as F. And I think Honda still uses leather, even if incrementally so. VS Toyota's Pleather & I know you & T love your MB Vinyl seats. But Trust real leather IS SUPERIOR!
NO AWD. Navigate "me" will not work.....just navigate and destination.
No AWD and no adapter damper.
Its doesnt look like a honda cause it just like a ford taurus front end
This Honda accord isn’t ass attractive as the 9th generation.
The steering wheel is the only thing I like it needs a refresh with fog lights.
That infotainment system style is so 2010. It needs to be integrated into the dash.
Huge trunk, small opening.
My 2016 Accord Touring w/ V6 gets over 30mpg all of the time along with 280hp. And as others pointed out, it will be running strong when the forced induction /hybrid system is having expensive issues. Not a big fan of the coming generation of sedans but then at least they arent CUVs.
UMM Japanese cars don't have those kind of issues
@user-do9ir8lv2m early production current gen Tundra owners and their turbo issues might have a differing opinion. Point is, more complexity, add potential for more faults.
@@user-do9ir8lv2m you clearly didn’t notice Toyotas quality on a steep decline
We had a lexus es350 with the 3.5l v6 and could easily top 30mpg on roadtrips going 80mph. That thing loved the interstate. Around town it was low to mid 20s.
We almost bought a used accord hybrid right around covid time. Super nice car. One issue i remember with that model is the rear seats didn't fold down and i found that annoying. On the other hand you can go an insane amount of miles on a tank of gas. I find the Accords better looking than the toyota.
Camry FTW. It’s less money, more powerful, more fuel efficient and better looking. The Honda has more room and you can actually get one. Toyota simply edges the Honda out in this generation. I anticipate the mid-cycle refresh for the Accord to happen sooner than later.
Especially with Toyota you have to option it specifically for any additional thing you might want which makes it more difficult to get and the markup for it.
It’s more powerful but has 100+ less torque… so I mean I guess
More power? It’d still get smoked by the Accord.
@@MikeJones-on9vm - Maybe 🤔
Accord is faster.
Ill stick w my 05 ls430:) great job case.
My only gripe is the mpg
............2019 2.0T
The hybrid system in the Honda Accord is simply less efficient than the one used by Toyota. It's just physics
It still looks funny.
My 1996 Accord LX is the same size as the current Civic, which I saw the other day and thought it was the Accord.😂
I make the same mistake when looking at old and new accords/ civics.
A naturally aspirated V6 and AWD? PERFECT!
That 44mpg is still less than Camry and Camry has bigger engine. Is this a paid Honda ad?
top trim Camry's mpg is about the same. Only the LE model of Camry gets 50 mpg.
@chongminwang I assure you the cars get actually better. Fuel economy then is stated being that I own one. And we are averaging f
47mpg Over the last 20000 miles.. And our car is a top of the line touring like in this video, with the big heavy 19 inch wheels... On EX trim with 17 inch wheels. We'll get 4-5 miles per gallon better Which is identical to the toyota camry
I haven’t seen the video and the answer is no.
I was surprised to see so many of these on the used market with low miles. It's a good car but not an extraordinary car.
There are zillion of everything with relatively low miles out there...people in America can't figure out what they want/need and keep the inflation monster instead of just keeping their completely fine car.
UMM IT IS THE BEST IN CLASS CAR YOU CAN GET
@@user-do9ir8lv2mit’s still not as good as the previous generations
I like everything about the Accord but the knockoff Mustang front end is too simple, plain and bland.. Seemed like Honda is only targeting over 45yo daddies with this look.
More power, more efficient, and available AWD? Yeah, the Accord is beat, and it isnt close
The accord is faster.
It is so funny how people tote something that is "available" as a point in the camrys favor, but that only counts if you buy the awd, if you don't then it is an irrelevant point in the camry's corner
@@notsure3535not with that 1.5t 😂
@waterloo123100 smarten up. This is being compared to the hybrid accord. Even though the 1.5t is probably still probably faster than the hybrid camry.
Wow, my original Ford Tempo from the 80s got 42mpg on the highway, and was about as low tech as you could get. And it sold new for less than 9k
Not nearly as safe tho
Totally different new technologies, emission requirements, safety and tons of modern features for safety, connectivity.....
It was also cramped, underpowered, unreliable and was a certified deathtrap
@@kevinbarry71I think your being over dramatic the tempo was a compact car. You don’t need a lot of power from a car that size. My 99 civic gets better mileage then a newer one. New cars aren’t achieving better numbers than ones in the 80 or 90s. The proof is in the pudding
40k for a car is just insane, that's CR-V territory. Why would anyone buy this over a CR-V? Better ride, more cargo and passenger space. Big pass for Honda
This is why sedans will be gone soon. The 25 Camry is the last Gen before it gets discontinued. The Accord will be gone as well.
I have a new CRV and Accord. Accord is hands down the better ride . Handing is sharper the ride is quieter but firmer in a good way. CRV is based off the civic
@@user-tb7rn1il3q They sell this all over the world, the US isn't their only market.
If MPG is your primary concern, sedans easily beat SUVs.
After sitting in an Accord at a car show the interior felt as nice as an Acura. Love the direction Honda is going but I feel bad for the Acura dealerships who now have to compete against Hondas that feels just as luxurious.
$40k for a sedan 🤢
I have Camry and acord . Acorrd run stayble very strong and save a lot of gas on the street than Camry , Camry save gas on the paper when on the street the acorrd better
Why oh why did Honda drop Sirius XM?? That's a deal breaker.
I thought the same thing when I purchased the car and I don't even miss it. Most people nowadays use apple car play. Or android auto to stream their music.. So if you have a spotify or a pandora account and the touring model, you can just ask google to play whatever you want
You can still use it thru the Sirius XM app on your phone…. This car has wireless CarPlay and the XM app will project on the screen.
Mentions design.. Almost triggers me
The Accord (had 2) has always sounded louder (road noise and tire noise) than a Camry. Glitchy infotainment systems seems normal for Honda's. I have complained about my Ridgeline RT-LE (2020) to the dealership to no avail and the dealership has admitted that it sucked that year. The handling is supposed to be better than a Camry with the Accord. I might give up the handling for a decent infotainment system. I have owned 4 Hondas but can't say if I will own 5.
Great video!
I really like the new Accord. It’s a great looking car.
Too wide, too long, and awkward looking
Cleaning that lattice work would be a nightmare!😮
no, not so much.
It’s actually very easy lmao
The interior and exterior of the Accord for the price and lacking tech and options the Accord is boring.
The Camry is not all new.
The Camry looks better.
Camry interior sucks comparing to this one
@@ackiro3339 That’s true!
Honda Accord Hybrid CAN NOT compete with New Toyota Camry. Camry is the KING of Hybrid. Honda sell very little Accord Hybrid. Toyota sell million and Honda sell in thousand.
Having to stare at the lattice work for 8 years would make me and my passengers go cross eyed...
Oh my gosh NO🫷
The reason why the Hybrid Accord not the right choice to me is that
Small engine in full size sedan
It has same Prius Engine power 2.0 L
And Avalon body size
You say that it has a small engine, but the car is actually Relatively quick for its size. All the while getting Amazing fuel economy handling ride quality And having die hard reliability..
Hate how the accord has like a Penny thickness in soft touch material. It’s like what even is the point? And why is the door armrest so thin and terrible? At $40k!?
the new accord is not beautiful...its like they just made the civic a bit bigger.....they have to improve the face if they want to compete with the camry....or make their price much lower than the camry
I have a 2017 Accord Touring V6 and none of the newer Accords have me wanting a newer version. Styling to me are boring now.
very premium looking is this word PREMIUM a new selling point for new cars now? I always hear it about every new car now
The interior of this thing is so blah
You say (at the beginning of the video) that the electric motors power the car, not the gas motor itself. I'm pretty sure that the gas motor provides power to the drive wheels as well -- just listen as you pull away -- the gas engine varies it's speed as you accelerate. If it was acting as only a generator, it would stay at a constant speed so as to maximize efficiency.
Nope
the fender to headlight lines ruined it so bad, almost as bad as the honey comb ventilation system lol
Lol 😂
Same design team designed the accord that designed the 2X4.
The new Camry is just a messy refresh.
I've owned both Accord and Camry and Accord is definitely more premium, feels more like a entry level luxury car where as camry feels like a normal everyday commuter , I feel like the Toyota Crown would a appropriate comparison to the Accord.
Who says "Navogate me to"?🎉. A simple "navigate to" is all that is needed in this case.
