Great review! If you take a lighter to the end of the ribbons, it’ll keep them from fraying. Little helpful tip.

I’m gonna guess he would hate the feeling of the fused ends but I like the idea probably going to do that with my copy

Wish Cambridge would produce a Bible of this quality in the ASV translation.

The ribbons are actually made for their bibles specifically, they do this cause of the paper being thin it keeps them from imprinting into the paper BUT you are right they fray very easy. I also think they should double spray the art gilding but honestly their goatskin bibles are the most soft bibles I've ever had.

I have this Bible in goatskin. I wonder about the quality control. Numerous times in the text a single bold letter is printed for no reason. (Bold is kept for chapter numbers and the references) How no one picked that up is beyond me.

Brother in the NASB translation a single bold character often stands for when a sentence or paragraph starts at a different place then the traditional verse-split is. Or vice-versa. That might be what you’re experiencing

Good review of the Clarion NASB, Beau. But are ribbons really that important? I'm much more concerned with the paper quality, font, binding and overall construction of a Bible. While it may be true that Allan and Schuyler have wider and better quality ribbons, I still think that Cambridge publishes a higher quality Bible. Of course, that's just my humble opinion, but who produces a more marvelous Bible than the Cambridge Pitt Pinion? Nobody.
