Sorry for the loss. I wish you would have had a picture of her at the end of the video. We love all of them, but hard to remember which one she was. Another great video, love from Texas
This is extremely sad news. It's akin to losing a member of the human family, and the pain is as bad. My condolences to you and Brent for your loss. I guess it goes with the territory of farming living creatures, though :(😪
Tay sorry for your loss of one of your favorite cows and her calf. It is difficult for some to understand how much each and every animal means to a farmer and how attached we can be to each. You are a very strong young lady. Great job on spreading with the bucket, your heifers look very healthy I hope they make great replacements. About your comment driving with out an implement seems weird, drive a Farmal H,M or Super M narrow front end and it will feel even more weird. Stay safe and healthy.
So sad Taylor, the loss of any creature you care about is devastating I know, you had my nose stinging and that oh too familiar feeling of sadness as you were telling her story, nothing else to say but my condolences.
Very sad Taylor. So sorry for your loss, You're so right, farming is hard. It's not all sunshine and clover. You don't get over it, but you do get through it. Prayers and good wishes for you! RIP Maggie.😢
Good Sunday morning Taylor and Brent love video love old barn take lot of work sorry about you’re loss no worries more will come and as always you and Brent be safe and families 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Sorry Taylor I feel bad for you sometimes one door closes and another opens time heals, know we all think you are special for bringing happiness to us with your videos Sending you a hug❤
I'm sorry Taylor. Chin up... Walk on... Right? When you said she was bred I got chills. There has been so much loss in the last week.... All I can do is pray. I hope tomorrow is better for us all.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I raised baby calves when I was in high school and lost one who had found a sack of galvanized roofing nails; calves will eat anything
Sorry for the loss of one of your cows Taylor, I hope you keep her in your memories. I too have raised a heifer calf who was abandoned by her mother only to find her dead after her 3rd calf, her and her calf were a Holstein/Guernsey cross nicest and most beloved animal in my uncle’s herd
I'm sorry for your loss, Taylor. The loss of Maggie is unexpected for sure, but the rest of them are there to be cared for and to aggravate you in their own way. God bless! ❤️
So sorry but I truly understand I have lost many cows. and it doesn't get any easier specially when you raise them all there life. If you're like me it will not take long you'll be raising another one. Keep your head up stay strong and keep making amazing videos.
Sorry. Sharing what was very clearly a difficult loss in such an honest way is what sets your youtube work apart from othrr farm channels. Carver / Middleboro MA is in the thick of harvest, but even while sitting here waiting on a repair part for a furford, I'm watching this video. Thanks for giving every one of your viewers this slice of farming life.
That barn reminds me of the barn at my uncle's farm. It has the same construction. HIs barn was built around the 1880's or 1890's. That might give you an idea as to when it was built. That is a shame. Sorry it happened. But that is farming. Seeing that barn brought back many memories of my time on the farm. But I know you will keep on farming. It is in your blood. Hope you get another one to replace Maggie. You have a great way with the animals. You show so much love and understanding to them. Take care and God Bless
Sorry for your loss love. I know the the feeling when i was 16 years old lost all my cows to P B B that was put in the feed. Again so so sorry for your loss
Hopefully, Taylor had insurance for her cows because 25.00 dollars is a major loss, including the loss in future money from future milk production for her and for the farm. Hopefully, Taylor's boss and good cousin will either donate or sell at a good price, 2 calves to replace the loss to Taylor's herd, which is now short of 1 cow, and the calf that Taylor's cow was carrying. My heart goes out to Taylor for her losses. That's a rotten break for Taylor.
sad fact, burying a cow is hard on you, hard work, hard on the machine and hard on the ground - nothing fun about it imagine being a big enough farm in canada that you had to use one of those roto-kiln pyrolizers that you could fit cows in yes, have buried cows and some bulls, we used to put an 8" pvc pipe with a screen mesh on top down against them like a chimney so they'd not leave a cavity to collapse later. surreal
That's a tough one for a farmer, Taylor! We never know when these things might happen, but only know that they will happen from time to time. It sounds like she was in a good place when this happened and was had a great life! A good life!! Push forward, my friend! 😀
Bonjour Taylor. Je suis vraiment désolé pour la perte de Maggie. Ce dont je suis sûr, c'est que si elle est partie,ce n'est pas en raison d'un manque de soin de votre part . La relation que vous avez avec vos "filles" est exemplaire. Bien à vous.
Hi Taylor. So sorry for the loss of your cow and her calf especially when you invest so much time and effort into raising her. You can put a monetary value on Maggie but what is harder is the personal loss you experience. I will say a prayer for you to make you feel better if that helps. Thanks for another great video . Your videos make spreading manure seem interesting. No other farm videos can provide the personal touch that you do. 🙏🐄🚜☹️
I'm so sorry for the loss of our favorite cow. I fell in love with her when you first introduced her. As well as m and m. (Maggie's mom). Keep your head up!
Yes, NEVER sorry for your loss. Life is not always fair, but you must go on. NEVER QUIT, NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER LET GO. RESPECTFULLY yours, " WINTUN WARRIOR " A'OH 😢❤
Thank you, Taylor. I enjoyed the video. I’m sorry for the loss of your Maggie. But you have many happy memories of her to always hold on to. Maggie gave you those. Take care.
When i read the head line a difficult loss for a farmer and Taylor sitting on seat alone i said to myself Brent must have run off with the fine thing next door 😀
Hello Taylor, when I was an older teenager I lost what appeared to be a very healthy, large, beautiful Holstein heifer, a local fair 4H champion, from sudden death...no warning signs, no prior illness...she ate very well the night before...she was a pet raised with love and care, brushed frequently, petted frequently, a princess among the cows herd, etc....found in the morning laying down with what appeared to be no struggle whatsoever...just sudden death...I felt total disbelief, extreme shock, questioning over and over again (even sometimes now) why and how did this happen? I really am very sorry, with empathy, especially having experienced the unexpected and sudden death of a loved cow who should have had many more years of life, love, and attention given to her...including many more years of enjoyment for me from her...I am sincerely sorry...Lonnie from Michigan

Sorry about Maggie. Wonder if she had a piece of hardware that may have punctured her heart maybe? Im guessing the vet did check to make sure it wasnt a disease that could be passed on to the others?

The exhaust pipe rattled on the kabota may be able to use a large hose clamp to hold it in place to keep it from rattling

You need to trim trees to pull out on road better. Couldn't you divide the barn off for just those few calves-easier to clean?
Oh wow....I'm so very sorry to hear of Maggie's passing. Regardless of human or animal, death...especially a sudden death is one of life's most difficult challenges to cope with. Stay positive and safe....and yes, better days are ahead!
