I took a shot at a Marksman build but couldn't find out what talents to use. so i starting dancing around talents and skills. Seeing this made sense and going back to marksman build. thanks. Now i have to find a way to have health to live and skill power so my skills matter.

I'm myself playing with the classical combo : Vector + M1A and I just love it, I actually have a bad M1A but with a good one it is just a great combo, so enjoyable to play.
+Arekkz Gaming I was thinking of hunting down an M44 or an SRS with good talents, but I was actually surprised I did a test in my firing range and my SOCOM M1A did more damage then an SRS A1. Body shots, Head shots, & Crit Head shots on stripped weapons were all better on the M1A.
I'd recommend to build your ''ideal'' character around a set of weapon/ armor talents. Those will define your firearms, stamina and electronics in return. You might be a team focused sniper, but having 1500-1900 (depends on weapon) stamina in CM will be much more beneficial to activate the ferocious and destructive talents on your weapon then say for example having 500 more firearms/electronics.
Everything that you covered is great and everything, but you should also cover gear stats to look out for. While I pretty much know what I want, other people may not know useful stats and high-end talents to combine together for particular builds.
This is surprisingly similar to my PvE build, but mine is just more Skill oriented than Firearms heavy. Every damn set of high end gloves I've got that was worth keeping buffed crit and Marksman Rifles, so it was somewhat by chance that I went in this direction. I use an almost identical loadout other than Triage instead of one damage buff and a Support Station to keep fast cooldowns for buffs and healing going constantly. It's more of a medic/ sniper than a pure Marksman build, but it works extremely well. My weapons loadout has usually included the AUG or Vector and the Covert SRS.
If you want to try this solo, go with armor that has health on kill and smart cover that recovers your health over time. yes you lose some dps, but that doesn't matter if you're dead.
In my opinion, Marksman build doesn't mean you have to sacrifice everything for firearms, also getting 2 buff skill leaving you vulnerable for rusher type enemy. As for talent, both Repo Reaper and one is none are marksman best set, since this two will give you all the ammunition you need to keep fighting without having to swap your sniper rifle.
I've never used that smart cover - I think I'm going to have to give it a try. Also, currently I'm using all armor mods with increased crit chance. I'm thinking I should replace that with skill bonuses for my pulse.
I'll have to take a look but a Build I was using, wasn't close to this Marksmen Build and I was pushing 1.4 Mil HS Crits. At times, I would hit 1 Mil Crits 4 times in a row. I roughly hit around 500k-800k now for crits since I had to sacrifice some Firearms for Stamina as I was still too squishy. I do use that Pulse Scan tho. The rest, not at all. I'm pushing over 3k Firearms. But the thing to look at is this, your gear. Look for Crit Hit Chance and Crit Hit Damage. Those are the 2 MAIN Stats to look for in gear, hopefully it's already on the gear it'self before needing to recalibrate it for other stats.
this is honestly what I've been running so far except I use the First Wave M1A, not as much dmg per shot but more sustained dmg overall from my experience.
I think u should try maximise your crit chance ( by gear and talents) and take a good submachine gun as the secondary weapon ( with perks like crit chance, crit chance, and heal for every crit damage u dealt. In other parts good guide
One is None is broken as a talent, quite often locking up on the actual last round, not letting you fire it OR reload. Just a note. And while the trapper mod might've been different earlier, couldn't say, it isn't now, at least as far as I can tell by the numbers.
Arekkz I'm surprised you didn't pick the Precision talent. Is it not better to get that and free up a skill slot for anything else? From what I've read, Precision will only give you the base stats and electronics stats don't improve it (like it would for the Pulse skill). Is that why you equip Pulse? Just to get the slightly higher crit chance and damage bonus from your electronics stats?
I'm trying to get a High-End Custom 44 that can surpass the performance of my SOCOM M1A that I picked up from the DZ. 158% headshot damage, Increased Critical Damage and Increased Head shot damage, both skills requiring only firearms to unlock. So far, I've crafted 7 Custom 44s (that elusive d-tech limiting crafting) and have yet to get a single rifle that can do more damage per bullet than my superior SOCOM M1A.
I wish you would have went into more detail on gear and what stats to go with first. I'd add take away the heads hot for 50% chance to save a bullet and get the kill with a sidearm for 30 ammo to primary. it's nothing to get the pistol out and kill something at low health. specially solo! on a side note. I'd love to see a solo hybrid build.

You're going to have trouble doing much with this build in PvP. There's so much bobbing-and-weaving and cover running that you have to be JKhovey (destiny reference) good at sniping to hit people and down them.
What a good Semi-Auto rifles for this build? I prefer Semi auto then Rapid, and what about Shotguns that uses Slug ammo.. I would try to have my character using those as well as a good pistol.
The first wave M1A and the other two bolt action snipers do around the same base damage. My First wave M1A and the Custom M44 both hits for 38k. I did some testing in the shooting range. It came out that the first wave M1A is more reliable, due to it's magazine size.
I have a ways to go before I'm 50 in DZ, currently at Rank 29 so do you think the Marksmen Rifle blueprint being sold at the base of Operations is a decent choice?
+tCruzin4Lyfe Most weapons cycle daily, so first make it to 30 in order to be able to buy the weapon. Look for the one that suits you, the best marksman rifles are the M1A(Classic, SOCOM or Custom) and the M44.
Would you be willing to make an updated tank build now that you have had time in game? Maybe share your spec since that's what you have said you've been running?
guys if your rocking a sniper use an smg as secondary because your not gonna run out of ammo on a sniper the smg will be good for close range if you get rushed
Will you do a medic guide? :) I think I still can improve my medic build somehow. Only current problem is: Low DPS and I cannot solo the DZ properly without some mates with high DPS.
if you are a good aimer, your skillset is ok. if you lack on aiming (like myself *g*) i would go for support station ammorack. little heal and as many ammo you need.
I'd personally swap the suppression talent for the one (can't remember whay it's called) which adds 30 primary ammo with sidearm kills, what with the relatively low total ammo capacity of marksman rifles, but maybe that's just me
Hey arrekz I might of found a new Phoenix credit/Crafting Material exploit do as follows: start a mission where the boss will drop Phoenix credits and what quality items you need, then complete up to the part that you have to kill the boss, kill the boss and only the boss and then get killed by the others respawn kill him again and again until you are satisfied with the amount of items, kill the boss a final time along with the other enemies take your stuff and spend!!!
can you make a crowd control build next? I just found an high mag marksmen with a talent that reduces skill cooldown by 5.5% per headshot. my skills come back so quickly so I wanted to optimize it with a sort of cc type of thing. wondering what would be the best to approach this.
I use a vector .45 as my secondary as I get charged when the heavy fails his role and I need a way to take them out but from a sorta distance (I don't like shotguns).

My build currently is kinda spread amongst the stats with firearms the highest, then stamina and finally some electronics, enough to unlock weapon traits. I haven't really found a good build yet that I like, but my play style tends to focus pushing up with an assault rifle using smart cover, and the healing station. Should I be focusing more on a specific role, or is this general approach going to cut it in Challenging missions (which I haven't tried yet)? A tank seems like a kinda boring build, and I'm interested in being a healer, but as I solo a bit, having some decent firearms is key. Should I be changing up my build for team pve, solo pve and dz?
+Arekkz Gaming You can run solo marksmen. I do and its pretty easy when you get use to it. Run with a 15x scope craft Firearms gear and make sure you roll max amount of mod slots. Craft Advanced (gold) stamina mods and slap them into slots. Try to craft ones that have armor as secondary. Use a First Wave M1A. It fire's like a well modded AR. Try to get one with Accuracy while shoulderd for passive. Run Vector as secondary, so if shit gets close you just melt it.
Good Build. But my electronics Build i do over 600K Headshot(8/10 bullet is a Crit.) and without Tactical Link. With my Build i can get close to 90% Damage reduce(without Ultimate) and i can do tank with my 29K Life. Sideeffect: my Build support your team buff you team to.
+TheBlackRoc its simple, you need M44 Custom Sniper (with 24% Headshot as Talent) & Cadeceus. 1900 SPS & 3000 Electric or 42K Skill Power. Tactical Scanner + Recharger. Now i Crit 700K and when i use my Tactical Link i got Headshot Crit. 1 Million. and i dont have many DMG agains Elite. When all Buff is on i have with my sniper 60% Crit. Alternate i can switch to Mobile Cover Tank, in this build i am near to invincible(Without Glitch or anything)

I tried something like this build but I found it hard to survive in challenging mode or lvl 32 npcs, I prefer more sustainability
