I've done similar to this build off and on. Some other things to note: Having Caduceus makes the bleed refresh sticky bomb. Having the vigorous talent on your chest piece allows you to take booster shot first aid to give resistance/damage as well as overheal without needing to use booster shot.
Got this build working with a team of 3 by using "Talented" and "Dominant" Talents on my High-end Vector. Particularly Dominant which helps get rid of the last part of the cooldown. Awesome build though, thanks Arekkz.
Just finished my 2nd level 30 last night and put 4pc tac set on and 2 piece HE gear chest and gloves. I plan to do a similar build like this with him. A lot more stamina though and lower firearms.
Hey Arekkz, Don't know if it counts as a build but I've been running low support and seeker mine (gas) with only 1k support power if not triggered it has a 100% up time so having a little friend following you makes you feel safe and happy :) What makes this a little op is with no real need for support you can stack lots of firearms and stamina. This comes in handy when you find out that (possible a bug) at melee range (regardless if your friend is out or not) you yourself also confuse enemies. This means I'm practically immune from melee attacks and I can run up to most 32 yellow bars confuse them and with a good enough smg kill them before the confuse wears off.
If you don't have a team you can also use healing station with ammo and skill reduction mod.... And also use the talent that gives you 20% increase cool down for skills when health is at the last bar
I'm building my 2nd character all around Skill Power. Especially using the High End Armor Mods REALLY helps a lot, if you don't want to neglect the other stats too much. The only MAJOR grudge I have with a skill power build is...that it would be SO much more efficient if you could hotkey 3 skills, instead of two. The options are just too limiting with just 2 skills. Just one more skill on your character would make this build SO much more viable.
Good build if you happen to have a solid 3 friends who can actually communicate well and follow plans. Unfortunately so many people play this game trying to be the ultimate lone badass
Btw Arekzz, I run with Skill-up with a similar build and just so you know the dot from the bleed procs caduceus coolheadead talent so that could help if you miss hitting all of your party members with the heal.
you got yourself a new sub. thanks for the tip here, Arekkz that stickybomb group tactic is OP aF. gonna run this video to my squad. I'll send them your way so they can see this themselves
I've been using the Sticky bomb with healing combination since level 19. With high electronics my damage and healing is great. That combined with sticky radius and damage attribute bonus' as well as healing talents, it makes my burst damage awesome along with healing capability. Also i prefer damage resistance and increased damage healing ability. This is because i have a talent that automatically over-heals all healing abilities anyway.
The place where skill power builds fall short and this one specifically is that they REQUIRE a team to maximize the usefulness or even make them viable in challenge mode.
i have something for u that i have been running alot solo. having cool-headed and harmful on my sniper, since bleed count as headshot this will make it so that u have 100% uptime unless u kill every target without getting any bleeds on. And running shock turret instead of heal could be nice in team group.
that build is awesome!! ima try my own version. And don't forget to stack skill haste. there is also a armor talent that will heal you 3% of the damage dealt.
I have a similar gank build for the DZ. Even at around 28k skill power I was still one shotting entire groups and even the occasional solo player. I had ~53k health and I was getting done in pretty quick up close., so I can imagine having 10k less would be pretty glass like, lol. You have paper thin armour.
Nice build! Definitely giving this a try. When will the Midas review go up? I still haven't gotten one but curious to see how it performs now. Also is there a certain boss it has a higher chance to drop from?
Have you considered showing builds off in Challenge Mode? Because other than that, literally ANY build is fine. Killing purple enemies isn't really a good test of a build's strength.
im 231 atm rocking the Mp5 and im getting similar hits. Replaced my Vector due to the low 40mag, mp5 with 60mag hitting just as hard if not harder loving it
+Josh Bishop the sticky doesnt one shot if you have decent health, as far as this video goes, any geared and well organised team can be deadly sticky or not
+JeeNiNe Media You're right to an extent. But speaking from experience, when there's a four person group, organized like they are.. sticky bomb spawn trapping you.. Yeah you could leave the DZ or go somewhere else but it's pretty frustrating
I was using this ablit not the exact build as i specced more into healing talents with occasional bomb to blow things behind cover. I see this gonna be fun lmao. I already run this in DZ oneshotting all rouges that attack me or going group rouge lol
Hey Arekkz, been following your feed for a while now. Just wondering if you could put up a video about what type of mods to put on each weapon class to get the most out of them?
nice , mine isnt the best with skill power, 190,000 dps 70,000 hp 17,500 skill but im in the making pf a second character skill power build , might follow your general stats
Nice build Arekkz! What HE chest perk you using? I use something similar but run the Overheal perk on a HE chest and run the damage booster first aid mod so I can throw our damage buff/resistance to my group all the time as well as provide an over-shield.
I'd reccommend First Aid Booster shot, then get increased healing / overheal on gear and its pretty much the same as overdose but with dmg / dmg reduction buff.
+Chris Topher I always stand out of cover 1 meter from clusters of enemies shooting them point blank in the face as they try to damage me, and when i get low i pop a heal or a medkid, and with my 140k dps i shred them before they are able to kill me, that is why armor is so important kids
I just watched this build and this is exactly what I use i have 51k skill power and I use a sniper that has the cool headed talent that reduces skill cool downs per head shots I love it
also something to keep in mind if you happen to have vest which grants overheal to all healing abilities, damage bunus/resistance heal is waaaaay better, since you already have enough skillpower to heal youeself and others to maximum even with base heal without upgrades 15% damage bonus on ALL sources and 20%(this number might be different) damage reduction from ALL sources is literally free and with no downsides
Only real thing to use sticky for is flashbang (PVP) but considering you got options like seeker mine, pulse and smart cover it becomes redundant. With "3% heal of dmg dealt per crit" combined with "all healing skills grant overheal", "30% increased healing with last segment" and "healing kicks in twice as fast behind cover" boosting electronic skillpower should only be done if wanting to cap crit chance/dmg (100% with pulse), increase heal skill (with dmg and resistance buff), smart cover etc. These will also help in challenge mode. I still find it better to spend skillpower on firearms and stamina so you get that 200k+ DPS and 80k+ health. Remember some gear items also grant 5k+ to electronics. Other thing to REMEMBER is armour. If you get it capped (4600) you gain 65% dmg migigation.
hey I made a build really similar to this but a little more burst focused. I have 50k skill power, 53k hp, 109k primary dps. I was just messing around with the same talents, but roll with smart cover for 50% dmg buff, 75% reduced incoming dmg, and a nice cool down reduction. Your a turret using a heavy sticky bomb pretty much. you'll spam 500k ish sticky bombs as long as there is multiple targets. but I also rock the caduceus for that nice cool headed perk. maybe give it a try? would be cool to see something I roll with on RUclips.
I have a tip that would push this build to insane levels....i think....use the caduceus. Here is why, every single tick of bleed damage in this game(or fire damage for that matter) counts as a headshot for some reason. with the caduceus skill of reducing cooldowns per headshot you can potentially keep your skills off cooldown 100% of the time....let me know if anyone tries this and it works.
***** No but im dying to hear if it works....it would essentially make this build workable even solo...As long as you cause bleed damage, you have your skills up, this would mean your healz would come off cooldown just as quick as your sticky bomb making it an excellent choice for pvp as well. Of course it's all theory at this point but i sure hope somebody does it, i would but i haven't got the gear or build for it.
120k dps / 50k hp / 40k SP ---- I have the caduceus and with this build its really a BLAST! But there are those times where players would just pop right into my crossfire and I blow myself up
I have trouble with triage. it seems like it only works when you heal EVERY member of your team. which is. fine balance decision, but it would sure as hell be nice to have that in the tool tip.
In the future it'll be very helpful if you have a game-play of you and your squads going through a challenge mode with these builds of yours (unless you're not that comfortable with them). Also using the term "infinite" in this context is not exactly right, because sticky bomb and by extension all the skills in The Division are infinite, using....."fast......cool down" would have been more accurate albeit not as succinct. But cool video :)
+Ecthelion008 +Farsicles +Trailblazer02 all valid suggestions but you didn't mention the most crucial one. Where to get the caduceus. Cause what we saw in the vid was not gear based.
Does this work with support station I wonder? If all teammates are within radius? But I guess the bonus of use First Aid with overdose is that you can 'heal' them at full health whereas you cannot do that with the lunchbox/handbag.
Tbh, for people who dont spend all their time in the game, dont bother. This will get patched 100% and its just a waste of Pcredits. I personally enjoy Skillpower builds so i will actually try this build, Thanks Arekkz!
I'd imagine an un-modded variant of the support station. If you play the final mission, there are many medics that drop support stations. NPC's already have unlimited ammo, and they also don't go into a bleed out state. That would exclude two modifications. Plus you can apply status effects while they're within the range.
What about a turret build? I really like using my gun turret as an offensive weapon, but I'm not sure what to really do, other then spec entirely into electronics.
hey man first of all nice guide and a really fun build ! ( i play it atm ) but do u think shrapnel is really worth it ? it only ticks for about 2,5 - 3,5 k.
building my second character like this and i cant wait lol. I know high skill means faster cooldown to some extent but does having a high skill level example 50k over 40k have an increase of base damage for the bomb?
all that gold gear 😍 I can only find one shop that sells gold at the post office and when it "refreshes" after X hours the gear is the same. they need to make gold loot less rare in the DZ
+1983Dave1983 If you want to get gold gear really fast, wait for the lincoln tunnel mission to be the challenge-daily, get a 4-man group and spam the hell out of it, got a full set of gold armor in one day of no-lifing :)
+Fabian Zloklikovits thank you. I've done it a couple of times. me and a friend tried last night with 2 random people. one left when we got to the part when you defend the first soldier and the other was an idiot who kept trying to take them all on at point blank
Hey Arekkz, have you come across some sticky bomb irregularities with this build? such as players not taking any damage, even in the dead center of the blast when triggered?
If you use support station and have triage does it reduce skill cooldowns per health tic or is it a one time use for healing your allies with the support station?
I believe there has been a ninja nerf on Triage. I used to run this precise build and it just doesn't seem to work anymore. Even with three squamates sitting right next to me behind cover, Triage will only grant me back less than half of my Sticky Bomb back...
i have been saying this on reddit for 3weeks.. 3WEEKS I SAID ELECTRONICS BUILD IS OP!!!! but did anyone believe me??? they just went full salt mode and downvoted me cauz their puny minds couldnt comprehend this shit...
I'm so glad I went for a skill build, having a gun with coolheaded perk gives me one sticky every 3-5s btw, did they change the damage cap? I'm getting 270k damage out of it every shot, and over 300k with chain reaction talent
+salvaginezzeb lar and since the bleeding effect is headshots, coolheaded will be great choice. let them bleed and the skill will coming back quick. only thing is the electronics cap. with guns you get no cap, you can headsnipe for 1m crit.
This Build should be called "The Michael Bay build"
+Manuel Alejandro Gonzalez Diaz Haha, it really should!
does anyone know how low can i get the cooldown? is there like a limit, P.S I am not a donald trump surpposter lol I just used it cause its funny
+Arekkz Gaming then its official. Michael Bay build it is, lol.
Sgt. Manolo LOL
This looks pretty mental. Sticky bomb is one of my favourite skils for sure.
I pull off something similar with the flame turret that works wonders on challenge missions. keeps all the shotguns busy long enough to burn them down
Just finished my 2nd level 30 last night and put 4pc tac set on and 2 piece HE gear chest and gloves. I plan to do a similar build like this with him. A lot more stamina though and lower firearms.
most status effect ticks headshots. combo that with the caduceus and the bleeding sticky bomb can bring itself off cooldown really fast, even solo.
Nice build. I was going to make a char full on electronics, to be the healer or support in a team, but this one is awesome.
Hey Arekkz,
Don't know if it counts as a build but I've been running low support and seeker mine (gas) with only 1k support power if not triggered it has a 100% up time so having a little friend following you makes you feel safe and happy :)
What makes this a little op is with no real need for support you can stack lots of firearms and stamina.
Should also get a backpack with Relentless: 3% of the damage dealt by your skills is returned to you as healing.
If you don't have a team you can also use healing station with ammo and skill reduction mod.... And also use the talent that gives you 20% increase cool down for skills when health is at the last bar
dude this is absolutely amazing and now my new build. Thank you!!!
And now I understand how I keep getting one shot by a bloody noob tube (Sticky bomb). Rip Dark Zone.
Good build if you happen to have a solid 3 friends who can actually communicate well and follow plans. Unfortunately so many people play this game trying to be the ultimate lone badass
Like me ;)
+Quaker274 but I still have my head on my neck so you must have responded to a wrong person
Btw Arekzz, I run with Skill-up with a similar build and just so you know the dot from the bleed procs caduceus coolheadead talent so that could help if you miss hitting all of your party members with the heal.
you got yourself a new sub. thanks for the tip here, Arekkz
that stickybomb group tactic is OP aF. gonna run this video to my squad. I'll send them your way so they can see this themselves
New tank build, new tank build!
I've been using the Sticky bomb with healing combination since level 19. With high electronics my damage and healing is great. The place where skill power builds fall short and this one specifically is that they REQUIRE a team to maximize the usefulness or even make them viable in challenge mode.
Great video. I'll have to give this one a shot and make it less squishy.
that's actually the build I started running on my 2nd character and love it
worth adding flashsticky alone is uber powerful
Now, if only i had some friends to do this with...
:(
+LlamaWaffles555 IKR !!! xDD share the feeling... :'c
if ur on xbox I'm down my build is like this
im on pc
No chill, the two poor guys getting blown up 15 times
i have something for u that i have been running alot solo. having cool-headed and harmful on my sniper, since bleed count as headshot this will make it so that u have 100% uptime unless u kill every target without getting any bleeds on. that build is awesome!! ima try my own version. And don't forget to stack skill haste. there is also a armor talent that will heal you 3% of the damage dealt.
+Devlin F event with the backpack talent the most it heals it 1 segment. its decent but negligible with overdose heal
I have a similar gank build for the DZ. Even at around 28k skill power I was still one shotting entire groups and even the occasional solo player. I had ~53k health and I was getting done in pretty quick up close., so I can imagine having 10k less would be pretty glass like, lol. You have paper thin armour.
I'd love to see a solo build if possible please as many of us can't run a full team all the time.
Nice build! Definitely giving this a try. When will the Midas review go up? I still haven't gotten one but curious to see how it performs now. Also is there a certain boss it has a higher chance to drop from?
The end was so funny where your just spamming them with sticky bombs and they can't even shift unless they come from the street
Have you considered showing builds off in Challenge Mode? Because other than that, literally ANY build is fine. Killing purple enemies isn't really a good test of a build's strength.
+NeuroticLobster true that, glad i have 231kdps to share with those mobs
Papa Sears dat accuracy stacking tho
+NeuroticLobster dz06 enemies are just as strong as the challenge mobs...but less organized however...i guess that's what matters the most
+NeuroticLobster I've got 213k dps with no accuracy equipment other than my grip. Crit for 120k on headshot with a vector.
im 231 atm rocking the Mp5 and im getting similar hits. Replaced my Vector due to the low 40mag, mp5 with 60mag hitting just as hard if not harder loving it
thank you man amazing build for electronic player
Well R.I.P. dark zone pvp. Just gonna be full of sticky bomb one shotters now
+Josh Bishop yeah damn, if only there was Exotic Damage Resistance in this game...

Hey Arekkz, been following your feed for a while now. Just wondering if you could put up a video about what type of mods to put on each weapon class to get the most out of them?
This is the build I've run, but I run 84,000 dps, 83,000 health and 48,000 skill power. It's a great build for all around play.
Jealous
Yours may be better but mines is
132k DPS
53k health
And 31k Skill power
trying to get my health up and will be able to soon.
iBriiann HD to me that sounds like way too much skill power, what do you use it for
+Joshua Faller one shot ppl in the dark zone, it's max skill power so no point in going higher, that would be considered too much
nice , mine isnt the best with skill power, 190,000 dps 70,000 hp 17,500 skill but im in the making pf a second character skill power build , might follow your general stats
Interesting build. Will have to try it out.
Nice build Arekkz! What HE chest perk you using? I use something similar but run the Overheal perk on a HE chest and run the damage booster first aid mod so I can throw our damage buff/resistance to my group all the time as well as provide an over-shield.
I'd reccommend First Aid Booster shot, then get increased healing / overheal on gear and its pretty much the same as overdose but with dmg / dmg reduction buff.
or increased damage by 12% and take 10% more damage on armor and booster shot for even more damage.
I'd imagine this would make the challenge missions a faceroll eventually. You're always taking dmg, so the high explosives would be awesome.
+Chris Topher I always stand out of cover 1 meter from clusters of enemies shooting them point blank in the face as they try to damage me, and when i get low i pop a heal or a medkid, and with my 140k dps i shred them before they are able to kill me, that is why armor is so important kids
A real unique and intelligent build
I just watched this build and this is exactly what I use i have 51k skill power and I use a sniper that has the cool headed talent that reduces skill cool downs per head shots I love it

This is not for solo playing... therefore, not for me! Thanks for the vid!
I didn't notice that Arrekz and Willis play together
Only real thing to use sticky for is flashbang (PVP) but considering you got options like seeker mine, pulse and smart cover it becomes redundant. With "3% heal of dmg dealt per crit" combined with "all healing skills grant overheal", "30% increased healing with last segment" and "healing kicks in twice as fast behind cover" boosting electronic skillpower should only be done if wanting to cap crit chance/dmg (100% with pulse), increase heal skill (with dmg and resistance buff), smart cover etc. These will also help in challenge mode. Other thing to REMEMBER is armour. If you get it capped (4600) you gain 65% dmg migigation.
Been running this. It's amazing
This was such a fun set up. I used to run solos in PVP. Then EDR got capped below 100 and it ruined it.
The Caduceus would probably be good with this build
hey I made a build really similar to this but a little more burst focused.
Any try-hards out there want to make an elaborate DZ squad? I run skill build guy but can also run good dps! I'm on PC
Great video too man!
4:20 "Sticky bomb in hand"
giggity
Thats one hell of a group build. I wonder how does it fair in Challenge mode when everyone runs this build?
LMFAO "Micheal Bay would be proud". Great video!!!!
this is my exact build but with more stamina. I really hope they don't nerf skill power just to make shit harder
I already use this build, I am Skill Power and HP . Works so well.
I've gotta respec for that... currently skill + firepower but die super fast. These tricks for CDs and more stamina is where I should take my agent.
Damn that's over powered
In the future it'll be very helpful if you have a game-play of you and your squads going through a challenge mode with these builds of yours (unless you're not that comfortable with them). Also using the term "infinite" in this context is not exactly right, because sticky bomb and by extension all the skills in The Division are infinite, using....."fast......cool down" would have been more accurate albeit not as succinct. But cool video :)
Arekkz is the only good Division youtuber
im running sticky bomb n first aid, helps to survive, just the cool down takes time, will try to change the talents thou. lets see.
ive said from the start in beta that dps and stamnia are nothing compared to electronics
Use the Caduceus with a high firearms rating and you'll get your sticky bomb back in 5-7 seconds if u hit head shots.
And bleed damage counts as headshot so using caduceus with this build is ideal I think
+Ecthelion008 +Farsicles +Trailblazer02 all valid suggestions but you didn't mention the most crucial one. Where to get the caduceus. Cause what we saw in the vid was not gear based.
+nikosxi took me 4 days of farming the bullet King to get it, but of course that has been patched. May the RNG gods smile upon you.
TRAILBLAZER02 So far can't really complain. They constantly smile after they spit on my face.
+nikosxi gotta love those high end mods
Does this work with support station I wonder? If all teammates are within radius? But I guess the bonus of use First Aid with overdose is that you can 'heal' them at full health whereas you cannot do that with the lunchbox/handbag.
Tbh, for people who dont spend all their time in the game, dont bother. This will get patched 100% and its just a waste of Pcredits. I personally enjoy Skillpower builds so i will actually try this build, Thanks Arekkz!
Using the Flashbang mod instead of BFB just sounds like trolling, as it seems to stun locks.
+Whisker Fish Unless the enemy has the Immunity support station modification. Say goodbye to status effects!
DemonycEmbyr Which begs the question, the support stations that NPC medics drop, what mod is on that?
I'd imagine an un-modded variant of the support station. If you play the final mission, there are many medics that drop support stations. NPC's already have unlimited ammo, and they also don't go into a bleed out state. That would exclude two modifications. Plus you can apply status effects while they're within the range.
In addition try a weapon with coolheaded and watch this happen even faster.
+Bob Harding He did say that in the video, when he went on about the Caduceus.
+JazGamingHD Yeah I know but it doesn't have to be Caduceus was my point.
damn. infinite sticky rogue squad can get annoying really fast. essentially overshielded all the time too.
+karl juridico it gets boring fast too
What about a turret build? I really like using my gun turret as an offensive weapon, but I'm not sure what to really do, other then spec entirely into electronics.
Wouldnt it better if you used the med pack pulse? I was under the impression that every tick of that heal also triggered the skill?
do you feel that this build can be updated with the new gear set ? and if so like what :)?
Wouldn't it be better though with the Liberator ? I know that you get reduce cooldown when you fire with the weapon.
hey man first of all nice guide and a really fun build ! ( i play it atm )
but do u think shrapnel is really worth it ?
it only ticks for about 2,5 - 3,5 k.
If you run Caduceus each tick counts as a headshot. Increasing skill recharge. This is more for the solo build though.
building my second character like this and i cant wait lol. I know high skill means faster cooldown to some extent but does having a high skill level example 50k over 40k have an increase of base damage for the bomb?
Great build!
You could add Caduceus to this build for a 5% additional cooldown for every headshot. Lolz.
+MrGuybones Yup, that's what I'm looking for! :D
all that gold gear 😍
I can only find one shop that sells gold at the post office and when it "refreshes" after X hours the gear is the same. they need to make gold loot less rare in the DZ
My second character is using this build now :)
looks really fun. just a shame iv no friends who play that i can group up with lol
Hey Arekkz, have you come across some sticky bomb irregularities with this build? such as players not taking any damage, even in the dead center of the blast when triggered?
i have pal it happens to me about 1 in 15 bfbs. really annoying.
I use this build a lot with my liberator
Hey, Arekkz. Will you be updating this build with Set Items?
could anyone imagine playing solo and running into these guys in the DZ? kinda scary
Nice build!
I would love to see how much damage it does to someone with 65% armor to see if its even useful in pvp
+ImAfricanJesus Armor doesn't mitigate sitcky bomb damage, only weapon damage (bullets)
+Martin Desgagnés Yep, exactly that. Triage doesn't stack any more. You get 15% no matter how many is near.
He left out the part where putting the heal on the ground having your squad run in and out also triggers the cooldown reduction.
can we get a v2 thats spec for electronics and stamina. maybe with the new armor sets would be great?
i have been saying this on reddit for 3weeks..
+sindahir3 ikr, in small maps I just camp and pop a sticky at a crowd of enemies every few seconds, works like a charm on Russian consulate:P
Nice vid man super useful, btw does bfb stand for big fat bomb?
In my head I thought it was big fucking bomb :3
How about Big Fucking Bomb?
Tac authority gear set brings me up 2 45k skill power. Sticky do 500k damage and recharge in 15 secs. I'm op
Can you do a dank zone play through with this because people will think you're hacking
lmao I would love to try out this build... maybe it'll help my survivability a little more
+Adam Torres (Freakninja) It will not...like srsly it wont
@Arekkz Gaming - Hey bro, I have question - does Triage also reduce the CD with healing station or only with First Aid?
fun with riot shield too
