This video was well made, and I enjoyed the commentary. It was like you actually cared about what you were saying and genuinely want to help people. Thumbs up from me. Great video!
this is phenomenal. there's so many spammy division videos out right now that it's great to stumble onto one that is actually helpful. thanks a lot man. subbed!
+MarcoStyle | The Division Videos When I go and kill darkzone named enemies, I get around 1-2 sometimes 3 phoenix coins, whilst yesterday I got 15 from 1 named enemy, care to explain?
I may have missed this but what is your scavenging % at? I noticed you seem to get high end drops. Mine's at about 135% and I've never got a drop higher than purple. Even in the higher DZ areas.
+David G M I've taken to just repeating Lincoln Tunnel and Lexington Event Centre on Challenging, with a ton of gear with Scavenging buffs. That way you'll get quite a few High End drops while you're at it. Oh and 2 characters = double dailies. :)
+chiffmonkey only thing is, sooner or later Ubisoft is going to do the same thing like destiny; if you did a daily on a character, you can't do it on the other
just like to mention imo the knee pads that offer perceptive talent to grab first or second as u get 88% savage +25% to item find and credit find so if u get 15PC 15+25%=18 u gain more credits witch works good when darkzone farming them.
good info, so in short, you only use phoenix credits on blueprints located in the base of operation and NOT in the darkzone and that is all. and for weapons/gears you loot them/buy them with dark zone funds? got it :)
Great Video. Please make an in-depth video talking about the numbers(DPS, health, ARM...) and how to max them, and what gear attributes have what kind of affect. It would be a great help. Thank you.
Yes the special vendors blueprints are easier to get and have item lvl 31 but he wont restock new blueprints, so you will still need alot of gear blueprints, and you can get those at the dz6 vendor when u hit lvl 50, so if you are looking for end game with the best stats on the gear and item lvl 31 its worth getting 50 in dz
To scroll down without plugging in an xbox controller, just use the arrow keys to scroll. I found that I had so many new appearance items that were not showing because of the glitch.
So you play on PC but you can connect an Xbox controller and play that way? Should I do that? Is the game worth getting in the first place? (on the fence)
On PC you can make the "mods" scroll down by left clicking on the bottom one, or the top one to scroll up. I certainly agree it should work with the scroll wheel, but it's a temporary workaround until they fix it. Cheers.
+MarcoStyle | The Division Videos There was a silent nerf with Saturdays reset, 1-3 credits/ name bosses whole game wide. You need Rank 50 for the good vendor blueprints. The fastest way to farm credits now is to rush tunnel Challenge sub 15mins, that will net you 90-120 credits/hour. Also there was a high-end drop rate nerf aswell from all the name bosses both DZ and elsewhere, so you are pretty much stuck muling over materials.
As best I can tell, Scavenging modifies the rarity of Division Tech resources, as well as drop rate of consumables like ammunition, grenades, medkits, etc from enemies. From what I've seen, Scavenging does NOT modify rarity or drop rate of equipment. As a side note, it's basically a requirement if you want your Yellow Division Tech drops, as I've grinded for 16 hours with only 15% scav and gotten 0, and 4 hours with 100% scav and gotten 6.
so as you said the blueprints and weapons of vendors inside the darkzone are useless to buy because you need lvl 50, then whats the point of leveling up?it seems to me that there isnt any. maybe you can tell me this
Hey man love your video. But i have to disagree on NOT buying the blue prints from the rank 50 dark zone vendors. Its not for certain all the weapons in the dark zone will be sold by the guy in the BOO. The M1A that the DZ06 is selling is the best tier there for the sniper so far.
They lowered the Phoenix credits down to 1-3 for the Named Elites in the DZ. Challenge Mode missions give you 30 Phoenix credits for completion. The Daily Challenge mode will give you 50. You can repeat the Challenge Mode for 30 Phoenix credits over and over again. If you have a good crew, you can get a TON of Phoenix credits in just three hours.
Yup, I only go in the DZ to gather crafting materials now. I bought all of the high end blue prints (not in DZ), also found really nice high end equipment/weapons from challenging missions.
Another "tip" to add is that doing General Assembly on hard will always give one person in the party a high end item, be that weapon and or armor piece. Item or well, power level 30. But as he stated, the power level 31 items will still surpass these.
Im not level 30 yet, and I didnt touch the dark zone because I dont like pvp in the game, I want to concentrate on Pve gear/ items, whats the best way to collect good gear and weapons? are there also some areas in manhattan there are level 30 enemys I can solo for loot?
Hey Macro I was hoping you could help me with a lvl 30 solo build that can take on groups of 2-4 people in the Dark Zone. Do you have any tips for me ?
If you put 1 purple onto a mule, you can buy 30 weapons with it, which decraft into 60 parts, which can go into 2 yellows. Do destruct purples directly... convert them using a low level character into a guaranteed 2 yellows.
+Josh Freeman (PV) my point is.. its kinda hard to understand what youre saying. now im not speaking on behalf of everyone but if you could explain what you mean with "mule" and things like that
Please note that recalibrating high end items costs phoenix credits, and not regular credits. When you talk about recalibration of the bonuses you forget to mention that it costs phoenix credits to use. Since you're previously talking about high end crafting, it's slightly misleading.
Running the Lincoln tunnel over and over on challenge nets 90-120 phoenix credits an hour....much more than you can average in the dark zone. Even easier if every person in your squad equips a different variation of smart cover because they all stack...
it may be better to get the highin gear from the dark zone vendor in DZ06 and grind for that division tech post patch because there suppose to be buffing the gear in there
I'm struggled at the moment. I want to make my Character a support character. Which means I use alot skills. So I go and use tons of gear with a high amount of electronics. But's hard to find gear that actually gives you a shorter cooldown for your skills. I use the supporter class when I'm in groups of 3 or 4. When I'm alone or only with one friend I go and wanna use gear that highers my combat strenght and my health. So I guess the irst thing I do is buying the blueprints for damage and health.
the scroling error you mention last in the vid... the solution is: hold the mouse cursor in the right side og the item window NOT OVER ANY TEXT and you should be able to scroll ;)
We've been doing this since hitting 30, kinda sucks it's out there now but respect you and your channel so good stuff! Even playing field ;) We 3v8'd because we're almost all high-ends LOL.
Does anyone know if there is a player based stat that comes into play when constructing gear from blueprints? Does scavenger do anything when crafting for example?
+UBCS Wraith Nope, entirely RNG based. Scavenging only increases the odds that an item dropped will roll a higher quality (like a purple drop instead becoming a yellow).
+AkaRystik Im honestly not too sure about this anymore. Friend ofs me who have well over 100% scavenger bonus dont seem to get more HE than me who has about 20% in that stat :-/ wierd game.
the only issue I'm having is trying to solo farm the named bosses in the dark zone with only a yellow AR and yellow pistol. everything wrecks me too fast. any tips??
Hey so I'm a little confused, I have gold items that are level 31, I also have better purple gear that's level 31... So my question is will it mater if I pick the purple over the gold items??
i would say that farming the challenge missions are much easier to get the phenix credits and you get a high end gear piece at the end of it and the boss is lvl 32 so you have a decent chance for him to drop a high end too i and about half the high end gear i got from doing the missions where lvl 31 and it dosnt cost anything to get them and you can just re calibrate them with the credits you got so i would say its much easier to do it that way instead of getting 1-3 credits from a boss in the dark zone that might not even be there i cant tell you how many times i go to a site and the boss gets killed right before i can get a shot off on it and i get nothing for it
I just reached lvl 30 a couple of days ago and I was wondering what I should now be doing to get some better end lvl gear. I do prefer the PVE side of things better than PVP, but that's not to say I won't give the DZ a try. Also, I like using my skills and weapons a lot because I don't class myself as a 'tank' sort of player so I mostly then become the dps guy lol. As of right now my weapons number sort of matches my health number and my skill power is below both of them, so what I'm wanting to know is what activities should I be running to get better weapon+skill power gear? I know this is a long post but 1 last question - could anyone give me any advice as to what perks, talents and skills I should be using according to my play style? If anyone could give me any advice it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
I mean if your running DPS have a sniper and a smg with high crit damage and high crit chance which would be the high end vector that has a blueprint that you could get in the tech wing you can run the sniper with a assault rifle that has high damage if you run out of sniper ammo in a fight the black market ak-74 is really good at the moment which is also in the tech wing.I suggest farming as much Phoenix credits as possible and get those two blueprints and try to grind for Firearms and Electronics gear also you can get the gear from the tech wing vendor that sells blueprints for specific skills.
How do you value hp vs dps? I am level 12 atm, leveling with a friend, and i find it hard to decide situations with gear like: "gain 400 dps, lose 800 health", "lose 300 dps, gain 1000 health" etc.
+Danny Vasta I'm no expert with min. maxing but I suggest picking a play style (Tank, Damage, Healer) and building your stats around that. For example Tanks should focus on health and skill power, Damage should focus on DPS and skill power and Healer should focus mostly on skill power
ok but how do you get legendary craft material ? or did i miss something ? im not lvl 30 yet but whenever i deconstruct a purple item i only get blue crafting mats :/
Not sure if it's buried in the comments, but the weapons/gear at the special gear vendor in the BoO shouldn't be completely ignored. They're GS 214 and 204. Whether they suck or not I don't know, but it may be important to those that have a GS fetish.
+Southern Fried Most definitely, they are said to be releasing the rest of New York as DLC, Brooklyn, Queens, Upper/Lower Manhattan etc. So i can see the level cap going anywhere up to 80-100 at end game, after all of the DLC has been released.
Shit - I wish I'd watched this yesterday. I just hit level 30 and the first thing I'm doing is hunting down higher score gear - but I should be thinking long-term investment. Thanks for this. I'll course correct now.
They nerfed Phoenix Credit drops from the named npcss to the point where it's not even worth farming them anymore. It was a reactionary nerf to people maxing out their characters gear within 2 or 3 days of the games launch. Now, your best source of phoenix credits will certainly be farming the challenge missions, provided you can get a decently geared group of 4 players together.
+rjc0234 they will pritty much only drop when you are level 30 and even then you will not see yellows until you go to dz 5 or 6 and kill the named bosses
+rjc0234 Its ok, by the time you reach a high enough level and finally get a High end drop. a group of rogues will just slay you like a bitch at the extraction and take it. LOL
how is it possible that when i want to craft for example a vector i can craft one with damage between 6900-8000 amd my friend can craft exectly the same weapon between 8600-9600. in short how is it possible that he can craft a better weapon then me while we have the same bleuprint
+Maarten De Coo The dmg numbers you see at the crafting station is based upon the users current Firearms stat, since it increases your dmg by 1% per firearms stat. So what you see is what dmg the weapon would do in your hands, with your current load out
Not right now that I know of, they might include it later on in the game but I kinda doubt it due to the fact that you have to wear that mask when you go into the dark zone and it wouldn't make sense to have a balaclava on while having a mask over it lol it would be cool if you could have a gas mask that you could just wear all the time though.
This video was well made, and I enjoyed the commentary. It was like you actually cared about what you were saying and genuinely want to help people. Thumbs up from me. Great video!
It's refreshing to see a game that uses end game crafting so well. Thanks for the videos Marco.
this is phenomenal. there's so many spammy division videos out right now that it's great to stumble onto one that is actually helpful.
thanks a lot man. subbed!
This was just fantastic advice for a casual player to not waste his time. Thanks.
i remember watching this back in the day aswell as all your other division 1 videos... Good old times on my ps4 and scuffed hand down monitor.
Thank you Marco, very insightful, helped me understand the game that much more!
Damn dude, do you sleep? Thanks for the great tips!
+Saol Dian Sleep is for the weak. You know that right? haha
+MarcoStyle | The Division Videos When I go and kill darkzone named enemies, I get around 1-2 sometimes 3 phoenix coins, whilst yesterday I got 15 from 1 named enemy, care to explain?
+tkoscapeshow Patched cough patcheddddd.
+tkoscapeshow it was patched so the named enemies give much less now thats why :(
+tkoscapeshow its call chance.....if you dont understand this you have a problem
I may have missed this but what is your scavenging % at? I noticed you seem to get high end drops. Mine's at about 135% and I've never got a drop higher than purple. Even in the higher DZ areas.
Marco, nice video. Have you seen a power level 31 Aug A3 Blueprint anywhere?
Out of date video. DZ grinding is now terrible for Phoenix Credits. Dailies and Challenge Missions are now MUCH MUCH faster.
+chiffmonkey Yeah they drop like.. 1 each per boss. Its retarded.
+David G M I've taken to just repeating Lincoln Tunnel and Lexington Event Centre on Challenging, with a ton of gear with Scavenging buffs. That way you'll get quite a few High End drops while you're at it.
Oh and 2 characters = double dailies. :)
+chiffmonkey Thanks for the update. Im usually playin by myself. It definitely looks like I'm gonna need a group for endgame fun.
+Raemey Reverman Can confirm that farming Lexington works. It's really easy and fast to do.
+chiffmonkey only thing is, sooner or later Ubisoft is going to do the same thing like destiny; if you did a daily on a character, you can't do it on the other
such a dutch english accent love it
Great video - I am putting together my first expansion video for the release. Found some great info on the Division Expansion.
just like to mention imo the knee pads that offer perceptive talent to grab first or second as u get 88% savage +25% to item find and credit find so if u get 15PC 15+25%=18 u gain more credits witch works good when darkzone farming them.
They do not drop more then three phoenix credits from named boss's anymore. You can earn 15 though from doing the daily missions on hard
Awesome video man! Thanks for that, im not close to end game yet, but now I know what I should do when I get there. Thanks a ton!
Zeer duidelijke uitleg, tenminste een video waar je echt wat aan hebt! Keep up the good work!
good info, so in short, you only use phoenix credits on blueprints located in the base of operation and NOT in the darkzone and that is all. and for weapons/gears you loot them/buy them with dark zone funds? got it :)
top safe house in dark zone is Phoenix credits
Great Video. Please make an in-depth video talking about the numbers(DPS, health, ARM...) and how to max them, and what gear attributes have what kind of affect. It would be a great help. Thank you.

Sweet. Great video! Very clear and thorough. Good thing I watched this before spending anything
To scroll down without plugging in an xbox controller, just use the arrow keys to scroll. I found that I had so many new appearance items that were not showing because of the glitch.
"Scavenging" is equal to magic find/loot find, etc? IE scavenging +% will increase drop rates?
Your video's are great, keep up the good work!
Great video! I'm about to be level 30 and this was a much needed tip! Thanks brother!
So you play on PC but you can connect an Xbox controller and play that way? Should I do that? Is the game worth getting in the first place? (on the fence)

Question?! What is the best weapon and what does it use to make?! Please answer soon waiting to see wat to make when I get 30 (soooon)
good info, didn't know how to id the level 31 gear but i heard about it. thanks!

what program do you use to create the motion graphics in your videos? (the moving logo and wipes)
so as you said the blueprints and weapons of vendors inside the darkzone are useless to buy because you need lvl 50, then whats the point of leveling up?it seems to me that there isnt any. maybe you can tell me this
I'm level 24 and I thought I was setting a reasonable pace for myself. You sir have basically maxed this MMO out in just 5 days lmao!!!
this game ain't no mmo lol it little co op Sand box with rpg elements
Great video, very informative. Helped me understand end game gearing a bit better.

The thing is me and my squad don't want to play missions without each other so since day one we are still level 14.
So not productive.
Yup, I only go in the DZ to gather crafting materials now. I bought all of the high end blue prints (not in DZ), also found really nice high end equipment/weapons from challenging missions.
don't forget you can also convert low end material into high end materials in the crafting station

Item or well, power level 30.
But as he stated, the power level 31 items will still surpass these.
+Lelouch Lamperouge the tunnel mission on challenging is really easy and gives everyone a yellow item.
Okay. This really helped me alot actually. Never thought about such things. Keep up the good work man! Zie je later kerel!
Thx for this video Marco!
I thought this was a glitch until I saw this!
Im not level 30 yet, and I didnt touch the dark zone because I dont like pvp in the game, I want to concentrate on Pve gear/ items, whats the best way to collect good gear and weapons? are there also some areas in manhattan there are level 30 enemys I can solo for loot?
So it took you 4 long days to answer so tips like Phoenix funds or scavangin as you sow this on arekzz?
Damn I wish I could get a level furty-one item
Nice video's man, ga de game over een weekje ook kopen. Ben hyped :)
Hey Macro I was hoping you could help me with a lvl 30 solo build that can take on groups of 2-4 people in the Dark Zone. Do you have any tips for me ?
New to your channel. Loving your vids!
wat is de beste manier bij pc als dark zone lvl te uppen maar dan solo want ik speel altijd solo omdat niemand die ik ken het leuk vindt
?
doing it this way removes the need for high end Division tech, correct?
If you put 1 purple onto a mule, you can buy 30 weapons with it, which decraft into 60 parts, which can go into 2 yellows.
Do destruct purples directly... convert them using a low level character into a guaranteed 2 yellows.
what?
bro what gam are you talking about?
talking about the division? He even has a video of it.
This video was perfectly made, subscribed this channel for future vid :)
Can you explain why you get up to 15 Phoenix credits and I get 2 - 4 in the dark zone.
Hi Macro, is this video still valid after the 1.2 update. Please reply. Thank you.
Every bit helps, many thanks fellow agent.
you use a mouse and keyboard on the Xbox? how? I've been thinking about the xim4.
Darkzone enemies have been nerfed. They only drop between 1-3 phoenix credits right now. See the changelogs of The Division patches.
Running the Lincoln tunnel over and over on challenge nets 90-120 phoenix credits an hour....much more than you can average in the dark zone. Even easier if every person in your squad equips a different variation of smart cover because they all stack...
it may be better to get the highin gear from the dark zone vendor in DZ06 and grind for that division tech post patch because there suppose to be buffing the gear in there

the scroling error you mention last in the vid... the solution is: hold the mouse cursor in the right side og the item window NOT OVER ANY TEXT and you should be able to scroll ;)
We've been doing this since hitting 30, kinda sucks it's out there now but respect you and your channel so good stuff! Even playing field ;) We 3v8'd because we're almost all high-ends LOL.
doesn't take rocket scientist to figure this out omg it out there everyone been knew this
I haven't got ,Amy high end pieces yet because I've been spending all my time trying to find Easter eggs. There's so many
update nerfed the drops of PC in the DZ. best way now is do your dailies and then go in/do challenge mode if you are tough enough.
the thing is with weapons parts or fabric they transfer at a 5 to 1
5 green=1 blue
5 blue=1 purple
5 purple =1 gold
So the best blueprints are from our operation base vendor am I right ?
MarcoStyle Back at it again with the eco efficiency.
Have you seen any Purple or lower quality items with an item lvl of 31?
+Mike Swain yeah only purples tho
+Mike Swain I got a green lvl 31 firearms mod
Dark Zone Chests are not affected by scavange bonus?
Does anyone know if there is a player based stat that comes into play when constructing gear from blueprints? Does scavenger do anything when crafting for example?
+UBCS Wraith Nope, entirely RNG based. Scavenging only increases the odds that an item dropped will roll a higher quality (like a purple drop instead becoming a yellow).

use pulse that does extra damage
Ily your videos are insanely amazing 😋
Hey so I'm a little confused, I have gold items that are level 31, I also have better purple gear that's level 31... So my question is will it mater if I pick the purple over the gold items??
I think that depends, really. It depends on the weapon talents, dps, weapon type, if you're comfortable using it.
very informative vid, thanks marco !!
I really enjoy the content!
i would say that farming the challenge missions are much easier to get the phenix credits and you get a high end gear piece at the end of it and the boss is lvl 32 so you have a decent chance for him to drop a high end too i and about half the high end gear i got from doing the missions where lvl 31 and it dosnt cost anything to get them and you can just re calibrate them with the credits you got so i would say its much easier to do it that way instead of getting 1-3 credits from a boss in the dark zone that might not even be there i cant tell you how many times i go to a site and the boss gets killed right before i can get a shot off on it and i get nothing for it

But what does the scouter say about it's power level?
Lmao
+Alan Wang It's over 9000
+Wenos no. its 2.... just 2
I'm guessing it's over 100,000 (dps)
How do you value hp vs dps? I am level 12 atm, leveling with a friend, and i find it hard to decide situations with gear like: "gain 400 dps, lose 800 health", "lose 300 dps, gain 1000 health" etc.
+Danny Vasta its a preference thing but just decide on wether you want to be a tank, dps, or AP, or you could just go a hybrid of all 3 things
There are no purple crafting items. Just blues. To make a purple blueprint you use blues.
+GamerSoul ooooh
OK lol thx for the answer
Not sure if it's buried in the comments, but the weapons/gear at the special gear vendor in the BoO shouldn't be completely ignored. They're GS 214 and 204. Whether they suck or not I don't know, but it may be important to those that have a GS fetish.
This was very helpful, thanks.
Do you think they'll raise the level cap?
Yeah
+Southern Fried Most definitely, they are said to be releasing the rest of New York as DLC, Brooklyn, Queens, Upper/Lower Manhattan etc. So i can see the level cap going anywhere up to 80-100 at end game, after all of the DLC has been released.
Yes they will
I hope so.
They'll have to, there are already a ton of people that have hit max level
Thank you so much
i'm level 30 and i didn't know this things
Awsome VIdeo! Thanks Marco!
Shit - I wish I'd watched this yesterday. I just hit level 30 and the first thing I'm doing is hunting down higher score gear - but I should be thinking long-term investment.
Thanks for this. I'll course correct now.
Hello marco are you still active on division these days
So all 31 leveled items are better then the 30s?
Very informative, thank you.
Its all about SKILLZZZZ
I have a question. completing the game to 100% will get me to lvl 30 or I will have to suffer those last levels?
Suffer
+MC Mickey if you do the sidequests which you should to max out your skills then you get 30 way before you finish your questline
+MC Mickey I was 29 when I finished the last level, with minimal side missions and encounters completed.
I mean all collectibles and everything not only 100% on the base of operations.
+MC Mickey I got to lvl 30 when I still have two main story missions left.
cool guide! i have enver seen a single yellow drop yet though!
+rjc0234 they will pritty much only drop when you are level 30 and even then you will not see yellows until you go to dz 5 or 6 and kill the named bosses
+the21gunable no it's just rng my first yellow drop was in general assembly&second was in dz 2 construction site.
So what you see is what dmg the weapon would do in your hands, with your current load out
Phoenix vendors reset every week. The darkzone blueprint are MUCH better but cost more craftable items.
Hey I was just wondering, are there any cosmetic items that actually cover your characters face, like a shemagh or balaclava?
No
Not right now that I know of, they might include it later on in the game but I kinda doubt it due to the fact that you have to wear that mask when you go into the dark zone and it wouldn't make sense to have a balaclava on while having a mask over it lol it would be cool if you could have a gas mask that you could just wear all the time though.
Dang, that sucks. Thanks for response :D
Nope that is what I am wishing for military looking cosmetic.
Salom902 they have military cosmetics.
what level do you need to buy blues?
Are you gonna do a video on how to build your character?
