I was surprised you didn’t mention the gesture-controlled (hands free) liftgate. A godsend every time I visit the liquor store or, especially, Costco. And, as it gets quite warm where I live in the summer, the ventilated front seats are awesome. Great review. Thanks for posting!
Great review again, I recently have been considering an SUV, loved your review on the X5. I have not owned a car in decades because of my business, but have decided to go luxury car, and another pick up. Thanks, BFS #OGDetailer
Hi Mike 🙂, excellent positioning of your camera, you knocked it out of the park again. Honestly Mike, it is amazing how well I can hear your voice when you're not holding your camera. I could hear you so clearly when you were standing at a distance in front of your camera. Looks like it was an awesome weather day for a road trip to Greenville, SC.
Thanks! I am actually wearing a new mic that I got and using that audio! I think it works a lot better than just holding the camera! And it was a great day to do some reviews!
Great review. I really like the headlights and the DRLs. The cluster and center controls are awesome love the display and layout. It's amazing how far technology in cars has came just gets better all the time and more affordable. Cheers guys
Im starting to like this S7, its appealing, Intriguing, and also very smart too. One of these days I will get a smart hatchback like that. Hello to the future!
As a c7.5 s7 owner the new S7 is disappointing. I could understand if it had much better fuel economy with a v6 but is the same as the v8 and makes slightly less power. I feel this was done more to push sales of the rs7. Interior wise the dash to me doesn't look as good. The touch screen is nice but they should have gone with a matte screen to hide finger prints and stop reflection. Other wise keeps the sexy body line and all of the creature comforts.
New cars are great for sure. I keep asking myself how much this will be worth in 5 years. I don't think that many channels feature used exotics that are affordable and how an average person could get into one. So, this is one idea.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I think it's interesting especially after Chris Fix got his Dad a barely 6yr old Maserati for more than 75% off original sticker. I don't know if this type of feature would be successful for your channel however.
The difference is that the V8 made 406 lb-ft of torque. The V6 with the mild hybrid makes 443 lb-ft. But yes, the V6 makes 6 less horsepower than the V8. Not a big deal.
Hey! Do you think that this is a great car for someone that has like 1 year driving experience but has money to buy a powerful car? I heard it has a lot of sensors that help in traffic etc! What is your opinion?
As long as you can drive responsibly it doesn't really matter how much power your car has. A car won't speed if the driver chooses to drive responsibly lol
That's how pretty much every car though is setup. All the climates are always right in the center. You get used to where the controls are so you don't have to look away too long.
Great video! Love the car. Really nice design. Two things I’m not a fan of are the wheels which look like tuning forks to me and all the touch screens (aka fingerprint magnets).
I'm just not a fan of the new screens/dash. I like the integrated screen, but wish they would have stuck with SOME dials for hvac underneath the main screen.
That's a sweet ride too! The V8 has a great sound, this one wasn't bad, lighter some better mpg and tuning. But having the V8, I'm sure it's hard to change!
I do really like this simple spec, however I would spec brown/tan colored interior if it’s a available for this model my second choice would be a red and black themed interior.
I agree with you on that! Engines are getting smaller, more efficient, and having more power! But it takes away from that exhaust note the Audi V8's can make!
Thanks for the great review. I was really in love with the car when I first saw the photos. But am I the only that finds having the driver assistant radar/laser on each side of the Audi rings really takes away from the overall look of the car? Really breaks the flow of the beautiful horizontal grills. And makes the front grill look way too crowded.
@@HipHipMurray It totally ruins, what used to be, the best looking grill & logo in the business. This was a deal breaker 4 me 4mos ago when I was ready to buy an A7. Use the logo somehow, in the future, to hide those scars on the grill.
You can definitely tune it and do bolt ons like intake, exhaust, and some engine parts can be upgraded I think. Audi has a great platform for more power!
Can someone tell me why audi went with a 2.9 v6 instead of staying with a v8? You know what the saying goes, there is no replacement for displacement. Wouldn't the 2.9 make less power but it makes same power and more torque
I think the biggest reason is it's more efficient than the V8, while that's a sweet engine, companies are starting to make more power, more torque and have better efficiency with smaller engines. And you have more tuning capabilities.
Did you guys see the kid who did the 10,000 mile review on his S7 he claimed the transmission would over heat and cause the car to slow down he also straight piped the exhaust and put some kind of performance chip in the car and in his review his check engine light was on🤣 now while I found that hilarious I have to ask a stoopid question anyone else heard that about the S7 transmission 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
You keep saying WOW but the car barely seem to move. Maybe it's just that the exhaust is too quiet which makes it seem slower than it likely is. Try smashing the gas in a manual, BMW M4 (especially the upcoming 2021 AWD Competition trim with manual option- it might put out 510 HP)- true WOW. Even the current 2020, M4 Competition model does 0-60 in 3.8 sec. vs. 4.5 (Audi.) It's likely because the Audi is much heavier. I would prefer this have a naturally aspirated and far more reliable V8. All that complexity (read $) in this Audi (supercharger) for only a 37 hp gain hardly seems worth it. The infotainment screen looks like it has glare and will easily smudge. Maybe a decent option as a lease but I would never buy. The styling looks bland in IMO is a step backwards. The R8 by contrast is quite sharp, very unique looking and it is a much higher performing vehicle. I think it competes ore closely with the M4. From that perspective, the M4 is a bargain.
This is a quick car! No it's not crazy loud, but it's more on the "luxury" side, but has the audi sport tech and features to make it a fun driving car. I've driven the manual M4, it's quick too, but not crazy fast. You have to remember too that it's not a V8 anymore so 37HP gain over the V8 from a smaller engine is a big deal. It's lighter, more powerful and more efficient than the outgoing V8, and they are reliable for sure. I'd trust audi all day, I had an R8 and it was the most fun car I've ever had, and after owning that and driving Audi's it's on the top of my list for reliability and fun, aside from Toyota lol
