    Vermont looks like a fun and scenic place to go wheeling. Idk what it is about a little bit of water but it makes trails 10 times more interesting. One of my favorite trails I have done is through a creek/flood wash. :)

    Love that you get to use the chainsaws often. I know in some parts of the country you can get fined for doing so, how can you tell where it's permitted and where you might end up in hot water? I'd like to carry my Stihl on my adventures, but there's little use for it here in Texas!

    No front locker on the Tacoma? Seems like you'd want to go all in on the drive system knowing you're going to be driving on this type of terrain. Of course, having the front and rear locked is why I can't afford to get a lot of other gear I want for my truck =(
    But it sure can go just about anywhere!

    • @msoverland
      @msoverland  7 лет назад +1

      So true! Yeah, with the way the system is set up in the Tacoma, I didn't want to install a locker on the front and compromise the $$$ invested in the OEM traction control system. Plus, having a winch can get this truck just about anywhere. Thanks for watching!!!

    What tire and spacer are you running on the 4Runner. 285/70s?

    • @msoverland
      @msoverland  7 лет назад

      285/70R17 with spacers and it rubs. Tried to convince Gaby to pull the spacers but he prefers the wider stance. I think removing the spacers would curb the rubbing.

    • @555R
      @555R 7 лет назад +2

      Guess we have the same exact truck then. Except mine still has stock suspension as deciding what to do has way too many choices. I run Volk Racing te37 18x9.5 0 offset with 285/65/18. Slight rub after heat gunning the mud flaps and wheel liner mod. Stock wheels won’t rub with the 285s? I’m curious.

      Love the series btw. If your ever in nj hit us up. Not that we have much to overland like Vermont.

      I'm pretty sure its the spacers that cause the rubbing. Lots of choices for suspension but I can confirm the BPs are a Cadillac ride #thumbsup

    I generally like the series and the content. Not overly dramatic or annoying voiceovers. But as constructive criticism, the music is wholly repetitive. Different track, different group, but hearing generally the same riff is very distracting.

    Great video. Will say though that no one really wants to hear about truck farts or see spitting tobacco chew - its gross, even for dudes. Fast forwarded through those parts but rest of series was excellent.

    Guys, either stop cussing while you're recording, or just let it happen. Either way, that horn sound you use to censor the cussing is a source of annoyance in an otherwise decently entertaining video.
