Great artist
Love you dad
Thats my pops man .. Maddadan... now u know where its coming from
Remembering my first girlfriend in grade 2 at primary school. Seems like it was yesterday
This song was released when I was a first former at High School, it's been over THREE DECADES now...........and still maintains the potency with which it was recorded.
This song sells you the whole idea of MISSING AND THINKING about someone. The arrangement plus the drawling sadness that accompanies this big voice is incredible.
RIP Hemsley Morris . Thanks Benzley Hype (Bless your heart.)
Big big Edna Manley chune this. Man nah write them kinda music
Hey man my pops is not dead he's still here and kicking very strong 😅😅
This song was first brought to my attention in 1982 listening to Barrington "Barry G" Gordon on his "2 to 6 Supermix" show on JBC Radio One. I was a first former at William Knibb, Soul Music was my getaway............the soul and words of this song held me. Great song, a sad song with happy memories.
A pretty Jamaican ballad that charted in 1982. Love it
I remember this song , I was a seventh grader in High School. First time I heard it, it was played by BARRY G THE BOOGEY MAN on 2 TO 6 SUPERMIX JBC RADIO. BIG SONG.
Madd chuneee!
Love this song so much
I know this song , Love it .. Love It .. heard it of the radio long long time ago and was never able to get a copy of the song for our collection... Big big song ..
Always loved this one Roy.
Great song indeed just popped in my mind today. Didn't know he had passed. RIP Ainsley
Alan Magnus used to play this back in my early 80s Primary School days...one of my faves from back then...
Allan Magnus and Donovan Dacares
Would love to see a HM compilation released someday, with great songs like this, Stay Loose, and others. Great singer.

Beautiful ballad. A great song Ainsley.
Give me just a little more time with a totally different story to tell. Show me a cloud that bring no rain and I'll show you a woman that won't bring you pain.....Hmmph.
Gwarn Benzly Daddy!!!!!
He is originally from Golden Grove St Ann
my goodness, this voice
madd
Is there another version of this song?
Is this the original?
Dose it have a remix
a always like this song. Benzly his he a guitarist ?
mrd123ist The guitarist is me! (Andy Bassford.) Ainsley is a very good bass player but Jackie Jackson played the bass on this. Ainsley wrote the tune as well as singing it. It was recorded at the old Tuff Gong on Hope Road. The keyboard player was Harold Butler or Robbie Lyn. Not sure of the drummer, possibly Mikey Boo or Devon Richardson from We The People.
