He warned abiut not letting Germany formed (which formed anyway), Russia started a play in Afghanistan unannounced which he contested and even warned before hand, and he warned France and gave time before joining that too (bit delusional on France part trying to take Hong Kong).

I think EU4 is the only paradox game I've been able to play with friends consistently and not have major issues with desync, lag, etc

Rare Golden W this game. Actually playing the game as UK properly and people being idiotic and not consulting him before doing anything abroad, then fuming when he intervenes. If you want to expand you can just *ask* him and there's probably some way to work out a deal instead of trying and failing to hugbox him before 1850. People should've absolutely dismembered Germany for forming that early. Russia literally gave him the rest of Poland on a platter and France seemingly gave up Alsace for no good reason. There is no diplo that ever justifies that leniency with an 1840 Germany. Then when they try and gang up on him for voicing opposition to it, then proceed to seethe when he wins and then continues to oppose what is clearly a massive bloc pointing at him and the rest of the world. It's rare to see Golden not having the brainrot, but it's certainly interesting.
I don't like how when he was assuming the hugbox would win he immediately got upset about all the people he picked fights with wanting to hit him back. Not bad play, but average Golden cope.

If you analyze it, Jake tried to do what Swimmy did. Except he had to plan it in advance instead of relying on superior swigma diplomacy and army. And he did worse than swimmy too since he didn't even get past the dominate Europe part.

Yeah I was salty I asked Jake (Germany) and Zoomer (Russia) how confident they were to go in for India and I trusted them and I lost horribly because of it and then I was getting horrible radical events that made me more sour through the game.

I think Cheese's point was that if he didn't knock the UK down a peg or two early on like that he'd eventually become too powerful and just dick on France and anyone else at will (Like he was doing right at that moment, telling him that France 'wasn't allowed' a treaty port in China). The only shot France had of preventing that was to join Germany and Russia in their bid to take India. I don't think he's necessarily wrong either. Golden was telling other people what they could or could not do like seconds into that video.
Either way, it was an amazing war. Golden knew what he was signing up for by playing an aggressive UK and I think the others did too but they just failed at their head shot attempt.

Actually there is a good reason for forming it early. Hostile nations (Austria, Russia, France, hell even the UK tried it) attacking Prussia very early or intervening in Holstein or the Brothers war or this one MP game I watched of a UK player threatening and Sphering German states to prevent it from unifying (The Prussia player literally did nothing with the UK hugboxing with France and Austria. The South German Federation formed though lol)
