@@coreyswhitetailwoods4747 Yup that was me! I am new to hunting (3rd year on my own) and am 19 years old. I don't have anyone in my family who really hunts except my older brother, so I'm having to learn a lot on my own so I really appreciate content like yours. I have rattled in a buck with real antlers but they are very uncomfy to pack around. I made a rattle bag for this season but have yet to bring anything in with it.
the rattle bag is just 6in sections of PVC pipe in a sock but it makes a pretty good sound, I think. What are your thoughts? I know some guys use wooden dowels but PVC is what I had.
@GwesleyKing hmm, That's an interesting thing to try. I honestly don't know what that sounds like so I couldn't tell you. But if it sounds similar to bones clashing then it could certainly work. I think during the rut when bucks are really fired up, they're not analyzing sounds too much. If it sounds anything like two bucks sparring, it should work. Good luck out there.
Yeah I didn't have anyone in my family who wanted either. When I started. I didn't start hunting until I was 35 so by the time your my age, you should be a pro LOL. Rattling doesn't always work. Nothing always works. Actually. There have been years where I grunted in or rattled in bucks but then other years where I couldn't get anything to come in like this year for example. We were blessed to put some does on the ground and some meat in the freezer. That is really the best way is to continue absorbing information and just try new things. If you look at the last video, I just released of me shooting a doe from the ground with my bow , that's the first time I've ever done that. I was just trying something new and it was also a middle of the day hunt, and it worked. So you just never know. Can't kill em from the couch right? Brother, just keep at it and enjoy every moment you can in God's beautiful creation. Be blessed and I wish you success out there!
Good review Corey! Its nice to see an unbiased comparing of different rattling methods, a lot of people can obtain valuable information from videos like this. God Bless!
Hi Corey, I have what I think is the same Knight & Hale bag and I love it. Convenient and light is what's important to me. I've replaced the rubber band with a ranger band and it works for me.
@@coreyswhitetailwoods4747 I don't hunt in area with the greatest big buck Population, but last year I called in a smaller forkie with the rattle bag. Usually I can call in one a season with it when the timing is right.
Enjoyed your review I have all three of those and actually have that same rattling bag. Although rattling in South Carolina doesn't seem to be as effective as it is in other parts of the country it will work on occasion but I think you are exactly right if you are rattling when rattling is effective then any one will work
Nice vid. I love Matthews. I love the part in the beginning where Jesus said that he has come to Earth not in peace but with a sword to punish anyone who isn't following the 313 commandments of prophets.
Love the verse of the day! Thanks so much for this video!
Thank you so much for watching and for subscribing, if that was you! What rattling method do you normally use?

That's cool. I didn't even think about replacing the rubber band. Have you had good results calling in 🦌?

That's great, yeah same where I live. They're by no means huge but to have that window to be able to rattle in a buok is an awesome feeling.

Yeah definitely. It seems to be a little different everywhere you go with the reaction you get from deer. Thank you for your comment.
I like to get my bucks before rut , in their "social" season, so mostly grunting. Good rattler review 👍
I absolutely agree. That has been my experience the last few years. I would prefer to get one in October, then the pressures off lol!
@@coreyswhitetailwoods4747 Exactly. I usually get mine late September, I'm not a big fan of rutting meat
@@BootTrackStories happy hunting this year. Hope you get a nice trophy as well as fill your freezer!

Awesome, I'm glad you liked the video. Yes, I love listening to any words of Jesus!
Just got the black rack today! Where are you located in VA? I'm in Buckingham county
That's great. I'm in James City county Virginia. Have you had a chance to try out the Black rack yet this season during the rut? Any success?
I subscribed because you read the Bible.
Awesome man! I appreciate you telling me that, and your subscription!
