My mom passed away today (Nov. 1st) on her birthday after battling colon cancer for 5+ years. She was very excited to see the Rangers make it to the world series. I was able to show her the Game 1 walk off win while she was in hospice care. She fought hard and strong just like the Rangers did this this year. I am so proud of her and proud of this team.

Same with my dad. Now that it's Nov. 2nd, it marks 2 yrs since I lost mine. During the final season he lived to see, he would always note what channel the Rangers were on and if I was watching (I'm a Red Sox fan and I don't pay much attention to the MLB in the regular season). He lived in the Dallas area during the Rangers first 10+ yrs in TX.
This WS win will give a lot of comfort for my siblings and nephews here at the 2nd anniversary. He's celebrating the win in Heaven too.

I grew up a rangers fan, one of my earliest memories is being at the old old ball park with my parents watching them play the Yankees. I remember all the losses to the Yankees, the 2010 and 2011 losses, I went with my mom to the blue jays playoff series and experienced that… first thing I did after this win was call my parents and celebrate. I still can’t believe it. I wanted it as a fan, I wanted it for the fans out there, I wanted it for the players, and I wanted it for Eric Nadel and the rest of the broadcast team. But especially Eric, rangers baseball isn’t the same without him.
Thanks to Bochy, CY, JD, ownership, and these players. Y’all may have aged me 20 years with the ups and downs and nail biters, but it was all worth it. Rejoice everyone, they WENT AND TOOK IT.
The minute Texas won my mind went to Josh Hamilton, he was deserving of a moment like this. What a great hitter.

my mind goes back to Adrian Beltre. a hall of fame player who gave his blood sweat and tears to the Rangers. Hamilton was a great hitter, but a loser drug addict who didn't survive in the league very long. Belte was much more deserving of this moment than Hamilton.

Sports in Texas has been very interesting in my years of watching.
I watched the local teams in the 80s (Cowboys, Mavs, Rangers), after so many long-suffering years of struggling teams, I've now seen the fourth championship team from the DFW region.
Three of those championships I watched with my dad, wish he could've stuck around for the fourth one.
Thank you kindly gents, this time I enjoyed listening to a Texas Rangers World Series while exercising in the cold.

I’ve been a fan since I was a kid when we’d take field trips to the Ballpark in Arlington and sit in the nose bleeds.
I was crushed in 2011 because I thought that’d be the closest they’d ever get in my lifetime. I did shed a couple tears last night after they won and watching them celebrate on the field!
I took my son to the Fathers Day game this year, so I’m glad that him and I can say that his first game was the year they won the World Series!

The oldest team not to have a World Series (65 years old) is finally of the list
Thinking of Brandon Peterson, an awesome young man and friend who was a first responder in the Arlington area. Brandon lost his life to cancer a couple of years ago. He was a great father and husband and, of course, one of the best Texas Rangers fans I've ever known... he had met many Rangers players over the years, getting their autographs. He loved baseball. He was always at the Rangers games whenever he could be. Many knew Brandon and recognized him...even Josh Hamilton. Many first responders, fire trucks, local police were part of Brandon's incredible funeral procession to the new Globe Life Stadium... firetrucks, ambulances, and police cars lined the overpasses with first responders saluting as the procession went by... Brandon's funeral was held at third base in Globe Life Stadium with many friends, family, and colleagues filling up the stands on the third base side. It was my first time in the stadium. I'll never forget the display of honor and love for Brandon and his family. I only wish Brandon could have been here to experience the joy of this victory, but I know he is in a better place. Thank you to the Rangers organization for making this happen so Brandon could "head home" in a memorable way...

Semien finally stepped up when needed most after the loss of Garcia and Sborz was dropping RIDICULOUS off speed pitches to close it out. What a game...what a series...what a season by these tough, resilient Rangers. Thank you to every member of the Ranger organization for this year.

From a long time 65 year old Yankee fan, I congratulate the Texas Rangers the 2023 World Series champions of MLB Baseball.
Nathan Eovaldi has pitched his butt off for the past 4 years.
He was with the Yankees but they let him go after Tommy John surgery.
Just look what he has done since...a great pitcher.
Andrew Heaney is also a former Yankee that they either let get away or traded away but he has done a great job for the Rangers.
After all those years in the 90's of getting beat by the Yankees.
The Texas Rangers have earned everything they got and they are good enough to repeat next year !!

Man, I passed out and missed the game, but waking up was like Christmas morning as a kid. After watching this, I think the gift was avoiding all that stress of the Rangers getting no hit until late and getting out of constant jams. All the best to the Diamondbacks, what a scrappy team and glad to see them make it over so many other teams.

Grew up a Rangers fan. Remember going to The Ballpark in Arlington now Choctaw Stadium. Remember the 2010 and 2011 World Series. I just knew something was different about this team. I would have been shocked if they lost. I knew Marcus would find it. I did not doubt this team when El-Bombi and Mad Max went down for the rest of the series. This team was special.
Same brother. Choctaw stadium is amazing crazy how they built the new one right next to it. I've lived in Dallas most of my life when I moved here from Mexico and let me tell ya I love Texas. Went to the opening day this year and I knew this year was different after a few games.

I sure wish I could go to the parade tomorrow but I can't take another day off work after taking today off to recover from lack of sleep. Last night was such a rush. Enjoy it if you are able to attend. I bet that will be the final act of closure you need to get over the pain of 2010 and 2011. What a feeling it is to win. Enjoy the day. Can't wait for next year!!!

I have fond memories of listening to Ranger games on AM radio in the summer of 1984. Rusty Staub was their best player. Now they're finally World Series champions.
