Good video! I tore my ACL and meniscus 8 years ago, and it didn’t occur to me until today while filming a set of my bench press that my stance is completely uneven and off kilter. I noticed that the foot on the side of my “good “knee is a solid 6 inches further back than my “bad “knee. It’s very odd because mentally, this feels completely even and is apparently the way I’ve been benching for years. I had to place dumbbells on the floor beside the bench to give myself a physical reference point to ensure my heels were placed symmetrically on both sides….. so now here I am making sure that if I’m going to revamp my foot position, I’m at least doing it correctly 😂
Have you ever had knee pain when benching flat footed driving your feet forward it feels a little bit like the start of tendencies but I don't get it when squatting or on any other movements thanks for the great videos thay are very helpful
I find it better flat footed I have experimented with feet under but I found it’s hard to control the weights. Not wide as some but it’s definitely more comfortable for bigger guys to be wider footed but it’s also some aspect of flexibility to it.
I usually put the indoctrination flag under my feet while benching... So that I can stomp on all the silly mind controlled cattle while I bust my big individualist benches. Other than being a silly cattle who belongs to a cult... I enjoyed your content and voice.
You really helped me out mid lift. I’m subscribed!
Happy to hear that Griffin!

do some isometric quad exercise before bench press (60 degrees wall sit) to activate quad muscle instead of tenden
Could be too much torque around your knees, I would try toes forward a bit more
@@BigBenchas thanks I will try putting my feet a bit more forward
