Fur Elise is one I hate to play now, though I loved it many years ago before I could play the piano. At least Stairway to Heaven is frickin difficult and an awesome piece so you get some respect, lol!

I learned to play River flows in you because I thought it was such a beautiful piece. Little did I know my family and friends would keep asking me to play it non stop lol.

I should not like to be alone in the room with this man playing.
To me, Cannon in D, is my FAVORITE classical song, because it was the last song on a cassette tape that my mom had that she recorded herself, when I was growing up. And my mom passed away almost 18 years ago, so Cannon in D reminds me of her. Today is December 31st, 2023, and for me, it was 18 years ago tonight around midnight, turning into the New Year 2024, that I spoke to my mom alive for the last time. So, last time I spoke to her alive was 2005 turning into 2006, and I was 19. So Cannon in D will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart.

@@Sarah-iw1mk Thanks for that. I'm going through a REALLY DIFFICULT time right now, and I feel her AND God, with me EVERY STEP of the way. I'm still scared and worried about what will happen at the end of this difficult period, but I STILL KNOW that God has my back and that my mom is my spiritual cheerleader, cheering me on towards the right course of action, while God is SHOWING me the right course of action along the way. Canon in D still gets me in the feels every Christmas
I kind of liked rush E when it was new and fresh, it was one of the many other rushes. It pisses me off that everybody is playing rush E and probably doesn't even know that those other rushes exist. In case of rushes by Sheet Music Boss, i think they are rush A, B, C, D, E, F, G, area 51, astronomia, bad piggies, c#, d#. And yet everybody overplays just one of them.
fur elise was the first sheet music song i learned on the piano. it may be a beautiful melody if you think about it, but my hands will never forget the pain of playing this 😭

There are 10 unique rushes (rush A,B,C,D,E,F,G,area 51,Cb,Eb; I'm not counting rushes from already existing melodies) and everybody is playing just one of them again and again and I don't understand why, all of them are good but people only play one of them.

I was about to say. I like playing Careless Whisper to be irritating. When my sister mentions a boy's name, or a slightly awkward situation which can be taken in umm... more than one way - boom, I play Careless Whisper or You can leave your hat on just to be annoying

I used to always play Fur Elise to warm up, I really enjoyed the more difficult parts as it really got my fingers moving. I'm rusty now, haven't played in quite awhile. Now I wanna learn to play Africa, I freakin' love that song.

I have loved Für Elise ever since I heard it as a child. I'm 67 now and still think it's beautiful, amongst many many other pieces, classic and modern.
I have a thing with Für Elise, whenever I miss a note on any song i'm practicing, i frantically start to play Für Elise

Listening to Lang Lang playing Fur Elise, totaly changed my mind about this song. It's all about expression.
It is so annoying when I'm playing any other piece or song and they say can you play fur Elise or still dre. Like "just appreciate the music and talent you are hearing."
Edit: I'm fine with piece or song requests but idk some I've played so much that it gets annoying when people ask for the same one each time

@@arona6692 yeah. Usually it's the first like 10 measures that is overplayed you never really hear the rest whenever someone wants fur Elise to be played.

That face... Literally me playing a song on the piano waiting for my friend to get it.
Years ago my future wife fell in love with one piano piece. Listened to it constantly….and one time joked that she wanted it played at our wedding.
So I secretly took up the challenge. I didn’t play piano, barely even chopsticks… but I was determined to make this my gift to her.
Fast forward 1 1/2 years from April 1 2009 to October 2010….. everyone is seated. I walk over to the piano and play the song. People applaud. My mom who is a music teacher is in tears (she never could teach me, but here her son found a reason to play).
Future wife said, “oh…. You played something? I wasn’t paying attention…”
4 years and 4 affairs she had later, I was homeless….
And I never played another song ever again.
And to this day, I HATE “A River Flows in You”… the only song I ever learned.
That’s terribly sad, mate…
