I'd say getting a shredder gauntlet is a good idea. It sinks into armored pieces meaning any hit is gonna hurt and not just dink off doing 1 damage aswell as it's decently ammo efficient if you can catch it on the rebound aswell has great damage on the third throw with the big explosion. Useful for also tearing off components cause of its latching behavior.
I can’t ever tell if I’m using it correctly. I haven’t seen it explode once. I swear I catch the blades when they come back but idk…I’m starting to like the shredding warrior bow a lot more. That sucker tears off parts so fast it should be illegal.

To be honest I have to say I really enjoyed that the first game didn't overwhelm you with so many weapons. Especially since you could only assign so many weapons to the weapon wheel at once. I feel completely overwhelmed with the new weapon change in Forbidden West. I think there are too many weapons and wish they would have kept it simple instead of splitting up weapon abilities just to have more weapons. I like that they increased the amount of weapons you can add to the wheel but with so many weapons now it's not much of a help. This is really my only gripe though, the game is absolutely amazing in every way and I'm having an absolute blast that I can't stop when I sit down to play. Sequals are usually a bit of a let down from time to time but definitely not FW. Loving it. Thanks again for the upload Joraptor. These videos are always a big help in the beginning.
I totally agree with you on this one. In one weapon category there are numerous weapons, which seem very overwhelming. Some of the weapon types seems very gimmicky and my wheel primarily consists of different variations of bows
I know how you feel but there is no reason to feel overwhelmed. You just have more options than in the previous game. I have a problem where I tend to forget to use my utility tools, like food or traps and this extends to weapons as well. I get so focused on the fight that I forget to try out my other weapons and I primarily use my shortbow. Just pick weapons you think will come in handy and if you’re bent on using only your bow then more power to you because that means you have seven other slots that you can just fill with whatever. I usually like to make sure I have most of the elemental aspects covered so I can switch, on the fly, to the element needed to exploit the enemy weakness and then right back to bow.
@@cody1016 It’s the same for console, I’ve been doing that too. Seriously bro I love your content but your last video said that this was already posted and I searched for over half an hour for it and couldn't find it because it wasn't posted yet until now
The people from digital foundry mentioned that the game runs surprisingly well even on base ps4 and that the main difference is some of the rendering tech since some versions use a specific kind of checkerboard rendering to get the game to run better as well as the shadows being better on the ps5 as expected.
I did the quest for the tenakth vindicator. I finished it and got the items, however it doesnt show up in my inventory. Does anyone experience the same problem?
When and where do we get the tool to get through all the blocked places??? 11 places I can’t get through. We used to get rewarded for exploring but now I realize it’s a waste of time until you get whatever tool you need to get through all these blocked paths.
If you haven't found out yet, I heard that you really wanna get a good 10 quests or so into the main story as that'll unlock most/all of what you need for exploration.
What would it even be about? It's something you get through doing the main story so there's really nothing to tell. I could see it possibly being in videos about all the mountable machines, but there's not enough there to make a whole video just about that (plus some people care about spoiling it for others and don't wanna spoil it by making a video for it).

Coming from someone who put down max amount of traps to kill a large machine in one hit….. I hate the trap limit. Lol
thats why its a limit ;)
Men i have one question what the best weapons in the Game and the best armor?
What TV are you showing this on? I need to know
Omg. The Arena, I was raging so bad in the second set of challenges. I'm not very good with a controller and those challenges are difficult for me. But I think I can get atleast the armor by brute forcing with the explosive spear they sell.
I just switched the difficulty to story mode and clapped everything in the arena lol, I’m just there for the items idgaf about the fights
Thanks for the tips but how do you get the DLC armour and all that is there somewhere special you’ve got to go
Got the collector's edition of the game tonight so excited to play and something isn't right, codes won't work for me, or from the sounds of it anyone else that got the collector's edition from at least gamestop. So far an extremely disappointing launch of a game I've been excited for. If anyone may know of a way to help all of us who got screwed please let me know
Complete the second verse side quest as soon as possible and upgrade the thunder hunter bow u get for that mission, it is the only good purge water bow u can find in this game
I lied, it is the Need to Know side quest, but after finishing second verse u can talk to zo to get a purple armor, some utaru infiltrator armor
Love the way you say armour, sounds like I would say armoire. Love it!
Thank you so much this is HUGE 🔥🔥🔥
Can you do a weapon / armor progression guide ?
I was in love with the first game, but I’m really struggling to play this one.
I guess I'm stending Saturday in the Tenakth arena :D
Can u get machine parts when u do the arena?
How soon can you do the iota cauldron?
man, the horse dodging the spear at the beginning was dope
thank you this will come in handy
Where do you get that armor set you had on first?
Cant wait til tomorrow to do everything you showed in this video.
Not long ago I got this armor due ti this video. Did you know you can infiltrate this rebelcanp through an opening left of the gate? I wish I knew before I did this.
Btw, what are those modes like defensive while overiding?
Please do arena guide what weapon to use etc thabks
I going a feeling I’m going to like this game when I get my hand on it .. can’t afford it right now but will watch a few videos parts

ALREADY WITH THE TIPS ABT FORBIDDEN WEST URE LITT JOR🔥🔥🔥
Seriously bro I love your content but your last video said that this was already posted and I searched for over half an hour for it and couldn't find it because it wasn't posted yet until now
Sorry we had to improve it a bit!
@@JorRaptor it's cool but I noticed I can't find anything about the golden fast travel pass did they remove it from the game
So do you think the experience would still be good on ps4 or just say nah and it's only good on ps5 with all of the extras
The people from digital foundry mentioned that the game runs surprisingly well even on base ps4 and that the main difference is some of the rendering tech since some versions use a specific kind of checkerboard rendering to get the game to run better as well as the shadows being better on the ps5 as expected.
Do you know what I really hate about this game? How everyone is going to playing it before me. I wish I was off work tomorrow.
I did the quest for the tenakth vindicator. I finished it and got the items, however it doesnt show up in my inventory. Does anyone experience the same problem?
Guide didn’t explain anything I can’t find the chest with armor for anything
Is he playing on easy?
Takes me about 22 crits to a charger to kill in V/H
When and where do we get the tool to get through all the blocked places??? 11 places I can’t get through. We used to get rewarded for exploring but now I realize it’s a waste of time until you get whatever tool you need to get through all these blocked paths.
If you haven't found out yet, I heard that you really wanna get a good 10 quests or so into the main story as that'll unlock most/all of what you need for exploration.
Clawstrider ..you said use “Chunk” Arrows?!?! WTH are Chunk Arrows???
When is best tiem 2 go and do the couldren 4 the clawstrider?
Can you please make one whole video about riding sunwings? I have been searching for video like that but for some reason no one is making them
What would it even be about? It's something you get through doing the main story so there's really nothing to tell. I could see it possibly being in videos about all the mountable machines, but there's not enough there to make a whole video just about that (plus some people care about spoiling it for others and don't wanna spoil it by making a video for it).
