That's how I always play the game I do every side thing until only the story is left. This definitely helps thanks of a heads up on legendary grinding.
There are 4 main quests left for me and now I feel that is the time to clean everything on the map before finishing the game!
Except.. you literally cannot do this lol. Tons and tons and tons of side stuff is locked behind story-required tools and such.
First i grabbed the main tools i needed from the storyline, once i had all of them, then went off and did most of the side quests then back to the main story

small tiny spoiler but worth saving you time for the oseram artificer armor......you must complete the dying lands main story mission. i believe it's mission 5. trust me. i went and did these armor side quests and hit a road block that prevented me from finishing just 1 of the side quests. the side quest where you have to over ride a machine. well, i couldnt. so back to main story i went and eventually i was able to go back to the armor set mission after main mission 5. you're welcome
What is the side quest??
It won't let me turn in the side quest to Runda for the Bristleback. So I guess I need to do more story mission??

@@mysticxdragon no, there are 4 types of bristlebacks. only 2 of them you are able to override. I almost lost my hair trying to figure this out 😅
Gotta say the Sun Scourge Bow is truly Amazing.
The game is incredibly difficult if you do it wrong, but if you’re smart and efficient it gets way easier. I played like an ape until the legit last mission, then right beforehand I decided to gear up and chase high level gear. Final bosses were a cakewalk after I did a few smart things.
Basically, speedrun the campaign until you get to the "point of no return" right before the final mission. THEN go exploring for gear and everything else.

Don't forget that to fully upgrade the first set of legendary armor and weapons. So when you start new game plus, it's a big help and advantage to getting the next set of legendary weapons and armor.
That’s why I’m 100% my game first. And upgrading everything and getting all trophies then I’ll go to new game+

@@Spacecowboyy69 more like melee has way more options in combat and how you can discharge energy I to a jump shot to destroy armor and such.
You have to admit the skill tree is far better than the first game.
@@DarthAscension yeah its better and I never said the game was bad, its beautiful and great for exploring but i felt like melee could have had different weapons, imagine you could change the spear to a sword or dual daggers with one being the spear tip and another just to compliment the style, apart from the world and enemies I feel a lot if the first one, which isn't a bad thing but for me could have been a bit better

@@DarthAscension not nearly as much as that amount but I get what yohr saying, i get a little bored of monster hunter as well, unless I'm constantly changing class, I would have just liked the spear to be incorporated into other melee weapons

Thank you for this awesome video. I wouldn't necessarily call it free. You do have to put in some time and hard work to acquire these items but it is nice not to have to pay or gather parts for them so It's sort of free. hehe

Awesome video, any tips on what weapons to get earlier, I mean I got the green ones but hell, some machines just 1 shot me and it takes ages to kill em, I've just got to deaths door part
The armor is actually rather hard... there are some challenging quests in the last two. I'm not even sure you can do a quest for the last contractor without having progressed some of the Las Vegas questline.
I get that Armor pretty early, and without Diving Mask 🤣 and yes. it's HARD!

Hey Khraze The Deathseeker’s Shadow Hunter Bow I’d say is the best Bow in the game. I fully upgraded that Bow it’s does crazy Damage.

I've practically completed rebel camps the hive and decils grasp, but the quest isn't marked as completed and the objectives just say go to the camp and listen to the rumors about the camp. Anyone else have this issue as well?
How to finish runda mission i finish all runda mission but the lost supplies mission i finish all of it task then i return to runda then if i speak to him to finish the mission the only thing i can do is farewell and trade to her

Yeah the game is lagging now and then. And also pop-in from time to time. I hope they look into this lag and pop-in issues. Some texture loading in problems as well
When doing the arena challenges put it on story mode difficulty
This isn't early game... you can't reach certain parts of the map until you complete late game missions... thank you though. Next time say mid game please
I did the Rebel Camps in a Green Outfit. Plus i used rare Hunter bow Not upgraded.. 🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂
Yeh same i use trash non upgraded weapons until I unlock the best weapons so that i have the rescources to just max them out instantly
You won't have the resources lol, trust me... And Legendary weapons use unique components that aren't shared with the lower rarity weapons so you can freely upgrade them without worrying.
You can do this if you play on the easier difficulty but if you play there extra hard difficulty everything will pretty much one shot you
I'm having a hard time getting the resonator blast to work at all so I never use it. I have the skills for it almost maxed too. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Your staff will glow a bright color and have several rings that are also glowing. It takes several LIGHT melee attacks for the resonance blast to build up. When it does finish building up, hit an enemy with a single HEAVY attack. They will have a large glowing point on them after that. Finally, you simply shoot that glowing spot with an arrow and it blows up for huge damage!
You need to hold down R2 for it too work. Can just tap it. Luckily you can bypass waiting times by doing that in a combo
You gotta hit enemies with light R1 attacks until your spear is charged up (glowing.) once it’s glowing, hold down R2 to charge the spear even more, and hit them. They will get a glowing spot on them. Shoot that. Hope this helps.

Question about side quests, do some side quests fails or unattainable when you finish main quests? Or I could just do main quests then do side quests after? I really wanna be able to use the flying mount when doing other side quests.
agree, wondering this as well.
you can save all the side quests for later. they won't disappear but flying mount is not going to help you much. quick travel is the best way

@@jujuyago oh absolutely! You get unparalleled view of the vast landscape and It also saves a lot of time from climbing. It's just not that efficient for doing quests, save for a couple that requires it
the last 2 races are a pain in the ASS I hate how the mount gets hung up on a bunch of bullshit

Just speedrun the main quests up until the final mission and then get all the legendary gear

@@CooperStation01 If you do it that way you unlock all areas of the game, and then you can do all sidequests and get good gear before doing final mission. Or do it your own way, who cares

@@Mustafa_9628 why? It's not like it's big and empty, it's full of content, side quests in this game is way better than the predecessor, and there are many activities to do over the entire map, if u don't like running around, just focusing on main story is viable, too.

I did 4 camps and it qont let me advance further. Eastern Light doesnt appear on map for me. The Hive camp was the last one i did and it wont give credit for when i blew up the barrel caches. Now im just stuck here.

Don’t bother with the races the recent update permanently broke the final race so you will not be able to get the legendary bow now, reloading saves does not work either I’m quit pissed off cuz I’m right there and can’t do it thanks to the update thanks GG.

Performance of course, this game is meant to run at least at 60 FPS and the difference is barely noticeable in quality.
@@gungeekgang9099 preformance mode seems to have some sort of shimmer bug. It's very noticeable on preformance mode, I'm waiting for a patch before I play
What’s the best starter gear?
For me, I have used the starting default hunter bow for quite a while and it's totally works, my personal trick to the mid game is by using hard weave sharpshot bow(blue) and braced shots (don't want to waste advanced ammo), easily shredding half or sometimes ohko machines. U do wanna get a lot of weapon stamina so u should also get those in hunter skill trees and maybe an armor called vindicator something that is from a side quest at scalding spear.

Whatever armor and weapon you like using the most, just upgrade them to max asap. That is the only way to do real damage, upgrade your shit.

Can anyone help me. I started doing the sons of prometheus data errand, but I dont know where the recording I have to listen to is, it's not showing up at the base. I've tried loading a different file, and restarting my console, but it isn't working. And my ps5 and the game have latest updates installed.

he needs to arrive at the base where gaia is. you might have to progress story for him to arrive or just fast travel back? im not sure

No... Once you complete all the area challenges, you will have enough to buy all legendary weapons.. No grinding the same challenges

@@WillS724 Sadly no... :( I was thinking the same, which is why I gave up on them altogether. Apart from the first like 3 I literally can't do any other, so I got stuck at like 16 medals and that's it... Maybe once it's released on PC and finally can use mouse and keyboard, not to mention turn around properly and have some visibility of a widescreen instead of the tunnel vision default FOV I will be able to, but since I play about 2 games a year on the console I just can't aim for shit with a controller... (well, if controllers were any good at aiming in general, there would be no need for aim assist anyway)
I got stuck last night and just turned the difficulty to Story. Blew through the rest of it in minutes and that was that 😂

Legendary weapons totally suck. The ammo crafting requirements are just plain stupid. Don’t waste your time on legendary weapons. IMO
That's just objectively false, I have them all and never had an issue crafting ammo. There's also an ability that lets you craft ammo at a workbench for much less resources. Sounds like you just didn't get enough resources lol. Upgraded Legendary weapons are absolutely insane.

You are right the ammo crafting requires that special part forgot the name of it that can only be looted from big machines and apex machines. You are limited also with how much you can carry of it! I wish they kept the same ammo type as in HZD, also the coils totally suck this time around, no longer we get anything like the Banuk Coils from FW DLC that add super extra damage to your regular bows!
