You are so right and Tim is so right. The lyrics between the first and second song are incredible. Just so you know, the first song ( “And So It Goes”) was written by Billy Joel and Tim sings it with Peter Hollens (he sang Misty Mountains with him as well as lots of other great songs). It’s stunning. Tim has such deadpan humor. And Tim just wrote another beautiful song “What’s Left Of My Heart”. You might want to check that one out. 🥰😍
That's the only video out so far. The CD is called So Long Dixie (which is one of the songs on it) and all but 2 of the songs are written by Tim and/or Austin, and friends. A wonderful album that's on presale now I think, on HF's site. I got mine at one of their shows and not a day goes by where I don't listen to it again.
Tim is a natural front man for the group. You should check out Tim's introduction of Chance. Tim Foust's between Two Tims. Chance was a good sport and played along with the bit.
How funny was that! And Tim keeps such a straight face throughout, but you can see all the other guys breaking up. Just shows what kind of garbage is considered a hit song these days. You don't have to have decent lyrics or music or even know how to sing anymore.
