@@palmspringsbum not much, I would think. Having seen them live a number of times, I would say they really don't need a lot of tweeking. In their live shows they use a looper on a couple of numbers, to get a good depth of sound - they do it on Man of Constant Sorrow, so Chance doesn't have to wear himself out doing the mouthharp.

A friend of mine explained the psychology behind the toilet paper hoarding. it's about control. When we feel we have no control of our environment, and this virus makes us feel unsafe, then we revert back to being able to control our basic autonomy / bodily functions. it's a way for us to feel "safe" and as silly as it seems, I can understand that feeling. All I can think of is the genuine panic that sets in when I run out. ha ha
I loved seeing what was in the room with them. Didn't realize Adam was so into small'scale figures. Great video, lots of fun moments, and always fun watching it with you. 🙂

Be sure to watch this again and look for all the Easter eggs they put in there. For example, Austin's book is "Be Love Now" and his t-shirt reads "Show Us Your Kitties." Adam's says "Dungeons and Cats."

The initial run on TP was just instinct, but the reason it is still in short supply in the stores is the manufacturing chain. Turns out that home-use TP is made differently than industrial-use (soft, cushy two-ply vs. huge rolls of single-ply), but retooling the factories to switch from making the latter to the former would cost too much for what might be a short duration. So, there is a glut of the big rolls for work and school and a short supply on the home-sized rolls. And this has been today’s edition of The More You Know!
Not just that it's made differently so much as it serves a completely different market. It's delivered by different carriers, shipped in bulk on pallets often with rolls much too large to fit at home, and the final delivery routes are to commercial areas. The whole process is distinct, so the products are not fungible.
TP: The various buyer behaviors already noted all contributed a PART. BUT, the APPEARANCE of a shortage is aggravated by the space required to display for sale. Retail stores don't have space for backup stock and may get "only" 2-3 deliveries per week from warehouses. If every shopper buys a package of TP, there's not enough on shelf to last a day. Then the section sits empty until next delivery & restock - prompting EVERYONE to buy at least a package (even if they have plenty at home)... Respiratory epidemic? Facial tissues are sold out, too. Paper towels... Napkins... Baby wipes & diapers... Entire paper products aisle is repeatedly emptied before it can be refilled - even if additional deliveries are made. If average home has 1 week supply on any given day, how much TP would be needed to increase that to 3-4 weeks supply? A LOT.
Tim got really bored, and when he gets bored you never know where that mind of his will go. lol! This is the result of that. One big reason for the tp being so sought after, when 1 person coughed, a hundred people crapped(cleaned up for any kids that may be reading, 😉🙃) themselves.
I love that Tim has such a sence of humor that he can find laughter about this pandemic. We all need some laughter now. Thank God Homefree can give that to us. And absolutely love your reaction videos.
If you are quarantined for over two weeks you don’t want to run out of toilet paper.. diarrhea is one symptom that goes with coved 19, then you really don’t want to run out of TP. This song has Tim written all over it! Oh, HULU is a media service that focuses on series of TV shows. There are movies too but people think of it in the context of TV shows. Again you nailed it! Take care of yourself and stay safe and well.
I read somewhere people are needing toilet paper because they're eating their own cooking for the first time in a long time. LOL Yes, I know it's only a joke, but it's still funny.
It's really because since people are home they are using their own toilets all the time instead of using the facilities where they work 40% of the time. The paper industry can easily keep up but the switch caught them by surprise so the supplies of home use and business use toilet paper didn't match the demand.
I think it’s more to do with panic buying .one shop keeper just said someone has tried to return 150 x 12 packs and 100 bottles of sanitiser! As he thought he could sell them arnt a profit He told them to get stuffed! There is plenty If people didn’t stockpile !lots of shops keeping them in the back to try and prevent it! Obviously people are terrified they can’t wipe their bum ...
Lol its actually US stores dont keep back stock of paper products no matter what the demand they acquire more as it becomes available and production can only distribute so much at a time ect
Toilet Paper - saw a news report about it. To sum it up: More people at home so more being used and bought. Before people would use bathroom at work/school/restaurants/etc. Companies that make tp for home use are different than the ones who make it for commercial use. Hard and expensive to refit machinery to make for home use (home tp double layered, softer - commercial thinner, single layer and some come on huge rolls that are perforated.) Companies who make it for home use don't keep huge supplies cause it bulky and not worth much. All this has created the shortage.
We have discussed this adnauseum. Lolol. My hubby has a psyche degree and thinks it is related to the first thing we learn to do is clean ourselves. =) People freak out if they dont have TP. Just a wild guess into the weird psyche of Mericans. I dont know...I am. Ot sure anyone really knows why. Loved your reaction. Gonna have to subscribe.
I heard that the toilet paper frenzy was because an island off of the coast of China recieved word that they weren't gonna be getting any shipments from the mainland, so they all went to buy toilet paper. Everybody else just did it because it was cool.
Too funny! I'm sure if you watch it a few more times, you'll pick up on things you missed this time. Check out the titles of the books and the reactions of those in the background.
Tim and Jenika decide that since they were at home they could foster kittens. The inevitable happened and they adopted Pan and Lyra (don't know which one this is). The same kitten appears in Sunday Best.
I think panic buying tp is a normal thing. Anytime a major weather issue is forecasted (blizzard, hurricane) that tp, bottled water, bread, milk, and eggs so I think for people here in the US with this pandemic, people went to their normal emergency buying habits.
The run on toilet paper was panic buying when this hit. Just like on everything else. Everyone thought we wouldn't be able to leave our houses at all, but you can leave to go to doctors or for essential buying like TOILET PAPER and groceries.
When people buy for emergency in the US it is usually for natural disasters where infrastructure will be down for a fair while so toilet paper is an essential. After seeing the news about it being bought, it is a case of ‘monkey see, monkey do’. If you want another fun Quarantine song. Check out Mat Best and Tim Montana’s version good Quarantine. It is filled with RUclipsrs doing cameos and a real hoot. Stay safe!
Love your reaction videos. It was here I first learned of Home Free. Check out Glennis Grace cover of “Always”. Another remarkable voice. This is my new favorite reaction vid site, by far.
Whenever I hear about people hoarding TP, I always think of 'Chuck' (or 'God') in Supernatural. There's this post apocalyptic episode where Dean (one of the main characters) timetravels to the future and Chuck (before they knew he was God...) went off about how important toilet paper was. Here's a paraphrased version of his rant: "Now listen, when shit hits the fan, you hoard toilet paper. Hoard it like it's made of GOLD. -Because it really is..." Now, I was not one of those who hoarded. And life goes on. Still have enough TP for another few months anyway...
Yeah, the toilet paper worries is a supply chain issue. And it really has come to pass in a way. The companies haven’t figured out how to make the switch from the giant rolls that offices use. And since everyone is at home, more is used at home. Not so much for us since both adults and one kid were already home all day anyway, and the other kid refuses to use the bathroom at school!
This is amazing I tweeted it out on Sunday so very funny. I tweet out a song everyday to hopefully cheer people up. Thank you for everything you do to keep everyone safe. My daughter just got me the last 12 pack of toilet paper 🧻 in the store. I was down to 1 roll and the 12 pack was all they had. Not sure why it’s in high demand I only got it because I needed it
I was curious about the TP hoarding, however if you play through - figure you have a couple of kiddos and you and spouse aren’t allowed to be at work nor in school, that’s 8 hours of company or tax provided TP that you would use away from home. It’s over the proverbial Top. I getcha! Love your channel!!
The thing is, you have other receptors in your body that the virus is more likely to attach to, but because diarrhea was a possibility, people included that in their panic buying. Buying an extra package would have probably been ok. I bought a little extra juice, but that's not what people did. They bought truckloads and stacked their closet like they were going to win a prize for having the most TP.
I love how the Home Free boys still want to stay connected to their Fan base. Home Fries forever. haha. Thank you for sharing this.

Stay safe!
And we got to hear Adam sing
Great job Pat - here's my 2 thumbs ^^! Stay safe my friend, I enjoy your postings! Chuck in NE Kansas, USA
-Because it really is..."
Now, I was not one of those who hoarded.
Love their sense of humor! Glad you're doing okay! AS they say here, 'better 6ft apart than 6ft under! lol Be well, be safe!
I love this, #HomeFree never disappoints! Well I love everything by #HomeFree.
Laugh or scream or cry. They chose to laugh.
I love their sense of humour first seen in the BUTT'S remix
Thanks for your reaction, you are my favorit reactor :)
And don't worry, Tim did not eat the soap pizza, it was switched :D
But Tim DID eat mealworms on a bet, so there's that.....
All my roommates go though a toilet paper roll a day... it was shocking to learn.. me = a roll a month... some people have no moderation
People were buying out the TP and hand sanitizer and trying to price gouge on EBAY and Amazon.
A song for the ages. Everything going on right now.
