      Hey thanks man! Esc is Hobbywing 180amp, motor is a leopard 2000kv, prop is octura x445 not sure what batteries I had in at the time but probably was 65c 6000mah will run 65mph+

      @@stevesballisticrc8770 thanks a lot for the reply that’s a good setup I’m purchasing another myself, that is the same setup I run in my sonic wake besides the prop so will go with it again for the pursuit when it arrives. ,, temps were decent I take it ? I always run dual cooling lines anyway, thanks again for the info looks like a solid boat hope I made the right purchase lol was gonna get the self righting version but don’t want integrated drive.

      @@TheChevy102 Yeah it's a great reliable setup. Temps are usually good depending on the water tepms you will be running in and yes I would recommend you will the dual water pickups I also run with a water cooled motor mount. You will be happy with your purchase its a great hull stable at high speeds and turns on a dime. I was told that the integrated drive won't hold up to big power. I would assume that you got the fiberglass version?

      @@stevesballisticrc8770 yes I bought the fibreglass version with the adjustable stinger drive. I’ve worked in fibreglass for about 10 years so may do some modifications to it but will try it in its stock form as well I don’t want to make it too heavy but may reinforce the stern. Will see I have never seen one in person so I don’t know how heavy or thick they are. Can’t wait to get it snow will be flying by the time I do but that will give me time to get it all ready for spring here in Canada.

      I would also suggest a one piece drive shaft from Offshore Electrics a much better setup than the two piece.

    Your Pursuit always runs so smooth. I got the fly color 120 amp ESC I'm running Zee 5200mAh 6s 80c stock sss motor what prop would you run interested in the 3 blade but the one they sent me from the factory the CL-05A it's not even bored straight I mean is crooked as hell. I'm looking for like middle-of-the-road good out of the hole and decent top-end not just going for Max Speed. What would you recommend I've heard somebody plastic props don't even need balancing what's your thought on that?

    • @stevesballisticrc8770
      @stevesballisticrc8770  2 года назад

      Hey Russ!! I think I would try something like an octura ×442, x445 maybe a cnc 45mm prop. The aluminum cnc props don't require balancing if that's what you are looking for. I don't think a plastic prop is the way to go..

      I'll give it a try man I appreciate it. How do you get around losing signal from carbon-fiber with the transmitter and receiver? Can you run a 2.4 GHz or do you need to run the the old am stuff? Cuz I can't get what about couple hundred feet and I've lost signal

    • @stevesballisticrc8770
      @stevesballisticrc8770  2 года назад

      @@russsmith9042 You should be able to use 2.4 GHz no problem just make sure your antenna is run through the hull with an antenna tube.
