That said, Trailhead is a good place to start learning, I actually have a video coming out about Trailhead today. Number one, that means your shining so bright that that they want to steal your sunshine. Number two, they are at least watching the video which gives you money. So, just ignore them and watch the money pile up Sunshine.

Great content! I'm a fidgeter and tried trailhead and couldn't sit still through it, addy got me through college , won't go back to it though. I had a friend with a similar story, did trailhead and made the switch from sales to salesforce manage back in 2015, went the consulting route (Certs sAFE, Scrum, etc) his career really took off, works at a major Gov Contractor in the Tech PM space. Def a great career path! Also you remind me of Rose from the Titanic, haha maybe it's the blue necklace

I enjoyed your discussion about how to interview, research companies, and follow up. Take good notes, and do some after-action review on yourself. One technique that you didn't mention people can use is if you didn't get the job offer try reaching out to the HR department contact and ask for feedback. Sometimes they will do this and sometimes they won't but as a mentor of mine used to say feedback is a gift. We are all human and everyone has an ego. I have never really met a healthy person who enjoys criticism and feeling like they come up short. But you can use this information constructively if you adopt the right mindset about it. Constructive feedback is in fact a good thing. Personal finance and financial education is also a hobby of mine that I thought about turning into a side hustle. Keep up the good work!

Great question! Most companies didn't ask many (or any) technical questions during the interview but the technical screening would follow. One company asked me to put together a presentation for a company, how they can use Salesforce, what we could build for them, the project timeline, etc and then I had to present
I was asked to build a Flow for something specific. Another had me build a few specific things in Salesforce like custom stages, customer objects/fields, etc. and you had to be creative with it and just think of what a company needs. They're pretty tough
