I’m really digging the use of the cast iron griddle to expand the cooking surface of the rocket stove, and provide different cooking heat ranges for different dishes. Very cool idea
Super good stove. I bought one a few months ago. I think your fire starting process isn't really in line with the stove, though. I usually start with a fire starter (like impregnated cotton balls) and add on twigs, small branches, etc., as you would with any other outdoor fire. I think you are beginning with pieces that are too big to get it going quickly and properly.
Thanks for the comment Wesley! The stove started really quick. I wish I would have left the camera on to see how it started. What did you think about the skillet? Peace, Todd

Good job. Thank You
This thing looks really fun and cool.
I love the griddle. Not soot on pots. That's what I love about them.
it would boil a lot faster if you put a lid on the pot.
How well insulated is it by comparison?
That’s an interesting tip with the dish soap
Thx
I actually have video of me scrubbing the pot clean. I was going to make a separate video. It will be up soon.
Cool

Wonder how this works with a pressure cooker.
