I see they learned from all the criticism they got when she auditioned for Alvin Ailey. This time it is CLEARLY not a real audition and she provided some insight at the end. It makes a HUGE difference. Really. This one was much better.
She wasn’t terrible, though! Yeah, her hip flexibility isn’t the best and her technical background is obviously limited, but her musicality was actually pretty good, and that’s really one of the biggest parts of being a Rockette.
These woman have worked years for this and it so amazing. I’ve been in dance classes since I was 2 I did a year at a academy when I was in a freshman year in high school. (My teachers sucked and weren’t really good teachers and only liked the short girls who lacked basic knowledge of how to even keep their feet from sickling.) this year I started at a new studio and I really want to dance professionally with the royal Canadian ballet.
That was very entertaining. Thank you for sharing your video. I would have been totally intimidated to be in the same room with those incredible ladies. You did a great job!
While I am all for a variety of size representation in dance or anywhere, these dancers have to train daily since childhood for years and have incredible stamina, skill, talent and technique. To reduce it to “just proportions” is unfair in the extreme.
Tbh she’s shorter than them sooooo yeah but it was ok she did ok and I know that woman isn’t preggers and kicking higher than me??? Tf I have to do better lol
Your just wasting all of their time by not taking any of it serious. These are professionals and your effort is not even 25%. Your lucky to be working with these Ladies. Have some respect for their line of work.
Yuk. I hate videos like this. "Hi! I'm tagging along with a brain surgeon where she's going to let me take the scalpel." Dancers begin their journey long before doctors or lawyers. Most of them start taking class in elementary school. The very idea that some broad-beamed woman can throw on some gym clothes and attempt to perform with them is beyond condescending.
Bill Vegas I personally feel like these videos are a fun and less stressful way for one to get an insight into the dance world. Of course she isn’t going to be on the same level as the Rockettes but she sure as heck can try! Lol These videos aren’t meant to be taken so seriously 🤠 Dance is a fun and creative thing and although there are moments where a dancer should be serious, teaching a random woman a short routine isn’t it
If anything this is complimentary. I think striving to do new things and taking a look into what others work hard at is amazing, because then you learn what actually goes into it. It’s awesome that people want to learn how much work it takes and what they do everyday.

She did a lot better than most of us could but, she's obviously not on the level of a Rockette . . . very few are!

Look at going to Oklahoma City university. They’re nicknamed “the rockette factory” for a reason.
Same
Same here. I'm only worried about my height, since I'm 13, 5'3ish, and you have to be at least 5'6(i think) to audition to be a rockette.
ava fleckenstein Good luck!
Same!
I’m thirteen and just now realizing I might want to be a rockette so I have to put in a lot of work these next few years
You will need to grow up a little bit more like About another 8 years ! Then talk to your parents !
Do it! Follow different styles of dance classes, and work on flexibility with a strap or tie, and a get a foam roller!
That was very entertaining. Thank you for sharing your video. I would have been totally intimidated to be in the same room with those incredible ladies. You did a great job!

I think she did pretty good considering that she's not a dancer.

This was probably not meant to be a 100% serious thing, you know? Look up "comedy" on the dictionary.

See if she can fix YOUR Brain ! You’re Babbling !
This is really stupid. She could've gotten herself badly hurt just for entertainment value.
I bet you’re fun at parties
What a Stupid Bitch ! I Hate Her !
