The COB lights are good for short term use. The battery life especially on max power is short i purchased two of them and within 5 min the light began to dim and was out within 30 min. Terrific for short-term use and I have used them for almost a year now. to find small objects in the car or around the camp sight. I even had the occasion to use the strobe light to flag down police when I had aa flat tire on a county road in Texas.
Ignore the haters mate, I enjoyed the video and subbed to your channel. I have a few of the items you showed in the video and they work alright and have survived regular use over the past few months. Can't ask more considering how ridulously cheap they are.
This comment made my day! Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it. You also really get it, none of this stuff is fantastic full stop, but for the insanely low price they work well enough and can get he job done for people that can't or don't want to spend much on gear. In the few months I've had this stuff none of it's failed and it all worked on arrival, I have criticisms of course, but my experience was good enough I spent £30 of my own money on a subsequent order that I'm also still happy with. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Sorry about that! When I did this video I just didn't have the time to scrub through it and make the chapters, seeing how this video is still getting views though I'll go back and add them!
It stands for Everyday Carry, the hobby of looking at and improving the essentials you carry everyday. For example, common items are pocket knives and flashlights, but also items more widely carried, like watches and wallets.
Thanks I appreciate that, I just try and keep it in mind because value is important when talking about an item, and it can be trickier to keep value in mind when you didn't pay for something yourself. Thanks for watching!
yeah for everyone except the people actually making the clothes and getting paid 5 cents per item, plus its not sustainable so it will end sometime@@gearedforward
Are you kidding me, Temu is a Chinese government owned, and you believe they did it to compete with Amazon, i have some swamp land in here in Florida that I will sell to you at TEMU prices
They sell the same junk from China as Amazon does, but they just cut out all the middlemen, sqving a few bob. Also, Amazon is technically a sweatshop on its own, so it removes one tyrant from the supply chain.
The video isn't sponsored, they provided a budget for items, which I fully disclose more than once in the video. There is no big secret going on, it's just a bunch of inexpensive things I found near or wanted to try out after Temu reached out. I'm confused what's in the video you wouldnt trust to be honest, I'm giving first impressions of things as I open them, there isn't really anything to trust to begin with.
@@gearedforwardReally? You're giving way too positive reviews here. I can see the bad quality the bag and the mini calipers has but you don't point that out. The zippers opening up in the middle during transport? Come on
Again, none of this was reviews, just first impressions. Of course the mini calipers aren't high quality, they're £0.39, did you factor that into your criticism? They do, however, work. The zippers thing also seemed like a nothing problem when I opened the bag, and in the weeks of using the products since, it hasn't happened again once. I have, however, discovered that the strap is far too short for appropriate use, so it instead gets used more like a pouch than a bag. This video isn't 'overly positive,' it's my actual first impressions based on items that cost an absurdly low amount. Those reactions are heavily tied to what they cost on the site, it's a huge part of the value proposition. This honestly feels more like you have preconceived notions that you wanted reinforced and have instead chose to invalidate my opinion because I didn't do that for you. I've never had reactions like this to other content where companies provided review samples, I can only suspect it's happening now because Temu is heavily associated with cheap chinese products and all the baggage that brings to some people's minds.
Sponsored videos suck. This isnt the actual Temu experience. Dude doesn't tell you how Temu works. Why is Temu sponsoring such an unpopular low view/sub channel? Lets see the paperwork... i smell bs.
Let me clear this up, this is not a *sponsored* video, they provided a budget for me to use, I did not receive financial compensation. What they wanted in return was that the coupon code be prominently displayed, whatever items I choose between linked in the description box, the video stay public on the channel for at least 6 months, and to look at it before it went love to make sure promotion was correct. As for WHY Temu would work with a smaller channel, frankly because it's very cheap for them to do so and still get visibility from it. Lots of brands do this, several brands have already been on the channel in this manner. They just give a product, or in this case a budget for products, in exchange for exposure. I always make sure to declare in the video when this happens. Though, I'm a little confused why a first impressions video is so controversial.
@gearedforward it's controversial because you're not actually showing how Temu works. Also, if they provided you any form of compensation in any way, it's sponsored. Your video clearly shines a positive light on Temu, which I'm sure has nothing to do with them giving you free stuff, right? Keep it real man, bullshitting viewers isn't the right vibe.
@@jeffdur1330 How it... works? It's an ecommerce platform, I'm really curious what you want to be shown here? You place an order, stuff arrives a while later. No, receiving a product is not a sponsorship, I'm not nitpicking here, there are different kinds of brand interactions. I was not paid to produce the video, they did not have any input on content besides including a code. The video is overall positive because that's my genuine impression of the items I received in relation to their listed price. It really just feels like you're not satisifed I didn't complain about the products? Or maybe you expected them to be reviewed, when this wasn't a review video. Whatever the issue I appreciate you at least taking the time to watch it.

Meaning, you got something from them for making a video with nice words not caring one bit about quality, and your viewers satisfactions. Not watching anymore of this....
I'm so confused how you can have such a strong opinion on a 40+ minute video when watching 15 seconds of it, but let me clear this up: These kinds of deals are extremely common with basically all brands, the reason it's disclosed is so that the viewer can be aware of any potential bias. The reason you checked out 15 seconds in is because I clearly announced that they reached out to me. As a reviewer it's important to me that I give as unbiased a review as possible, and I'm always very cautious when receiving free items to not let this affect my thoughts. That said, it's basically a showcase and first impressions of neat items, I'm not providing an in-depth review, so I'm confused why you and others have chosen to be so skeptical when I'm not giving much of an opinion on the items to begin with?
Wow, all these negative comments.. .anything you can get cheaper right now,in this economy, is a plus. It's about SURVIVAL at this point.....Yes China is trying to undercut the US. But so are the DEMONCRATS. Live to fight another day on another hill.
