I kinda want to start a new collection now , and turn them all into needle minders 🤗 Very good information I liked it! Way to go ladies !!! And good job Jerrod on the video ;)
That was fun....very informative. Thank you ladies and gentleman. I have tiny ones and I put them on needle threaders. Then I never lose the silly thing! Have a great evening 💖 😺
It's really interesting to see how other crafters create! The way I make mine is with sandpaper, or some higher grit emory boards! (Nail.files) Thanks for another great video! ❤🐱
Oooh - is that a quick process? I might want to invest in some for the times when I can't make it to Allison's house before I want the needleminder. Is there such thing as a needle minder emergency lol? -Stephanie
I never thought to bring power tools into the equation. I use sandpaper to shave mine down and that works really well and goes fairly quickly. Possibly faster than this as weird as that sounds. Nice tutorial, I'm glad to see someone else recommending the use of clear nail polish as a protective coating. 😊
It’s a double magnet that you put on either side of your fabric and it holds your needle for when you need to change threads or just put the needle down for a moment. Keeps me from having needles fall in my lap 😂
I have a suggestion with the DIY Tool which is similar to an efile (electronic nail file - DO NOT USE A DIY TOOL FOR YOUR NAILS). You can actually use a lower speed, brace your pinky on the table or your other hand, and apply a bit more pressure in a more concise area. If you use a higher speed, the sanding stone will kind of "run away" from you. Maybe watch Nail Career Education's video "E-File Do's ✅ & Don'ts❌ What You Need to Know Learning E-File • Bits Explained" at about the 2 minute mark. I hope you at least try it, and if you don't like it, you can always go back to what works for you. Thanks.
🐈 This is just what I was looking for. I have a bunch of pins that I want to turn into needle minders. Now I can.
I’ve been waiting for this one! I’ve got some pins already bookmarked for future needleminders!
🐈
Yay! ❤️
Such a helpful video! 🐈
Glad it was helpful!

@CrossStitchtheGlobe It's is surprisingly quick! I didn't want to buy any more tools so I just used what I had laying around! 😅

Do enamel pins that are already magnetic work too?
I have been waiting for this video and it did not disappoint. I have sooo many pins. Cannot wait! (Oh and Boomer Sooner).
We are so glad!! ❤️
I’m glad I made it to the frankie appearance
❤️❤️
May i ask, what exactly is a needle minder?

@Allisonatthemoment that's what I thought it was!! What an awesome sauce of an idea!! Thank you 😊 you ladies Awesome sauce also!!
I just use a pair of wire cutters to clip the post then use a file or dremel to make it even in the back.
