I always love to see what you guys are making.. sending big love and blessings to you all the way from Australia 💜
I do love the online knitting community. I don’t have anyone nearby who really gets into knitting like I do.
2024 has been an extremely difficult year for us. Knitting and crochet help me maintain a semblance of sanity
Lovely FO’s and WIPs. Thanks for sharing Diana’s pink sweaters and Kaity’s colourwork pullover, all amazing! Sorry to hear about the leak and congrats on staying so calm handling this incident while facing so much change and work in your life. The baby outfit gifted from a caring viewer is so adorable. Really enjoy the dynamics between the two of you. Thanks for another great episode and Happy Knitting!
Diana, I just LOVE your Laura pullover, though those aren't my colors. :) Did you use both yarns in fingering weight?
I was gone for 3 weeks, so I just binged your last several podcasts--before and after baby. Congratulations on your new son, Kaity, and a new house, even with all the issues. I'm amazed you have time to knit anything!! Diana, I pray your husband is ok and you have a fabulous trip! I love your Soldatna tee, and the Framed Sweater is looking beautiful! I would love to participate in the Alpine KAL, but I have too many other projects on my needles right now. However, I will live vicariously through your knitting. I continue to love your sweet podcasts!
OMG! That little outfit is adorable! So glad to see you both. I understand how life gets in the way of knitting time!
Whaaaat? You came to Nashville and you didn't call me???? I look forward to seeing your treasures from Bliss and Haus. Come again soon!
Blessings to both of you and your families. It's a busy busy season but it will pass and you will look back with gratitude. Thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you both! Your joy and goodness are a delight. We are glad you survived all the "happenings" the last couple of months and wish you all the best with the wedding, the house, the family etc. It is nice to feel like we are just visiting with you. Your knitting is lovely, but you are even more so. Thank you for your podcast. Take care.
So this time I was using my newly purchased headphones so that I can listen to podcasts and knit/crochet where my husband watches sports (not my jam). I also can hear the podcast splendidly. However when someone knocked at your door I just about jumped out of my skin thinking it was mine and so late at night! ha Earphones apparently bring every noise in stereophonic sound! Love your podcast and thank you so much even though you have both been so so busy with extras in life.
G’day Kaity & Diana, thank you for coming back and bringing all the joy to us after such busy time for your family. Your followers are patient, we’ll wait and it’s all the sweeter when we see you again. Take care ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🇦🇺
Thank you both for another nice episode - especially when you both are having such busy, exhausting times! Wishing your husband/dad all the best and speedy recovery and hope that your leaking ceiling problem will be sorted out very soon, Kaity. I still remember the time when we had first moved into our new house and it started to "rain" from all the light spots in our ceiling (more than 20)! Such a shock! Keeping my fingers crossed and pray for better and more relaxed times for you both and your families. Have a beautiful wedding and then a wonderful, well deserved holiday, Diana. Love, Christina from Austria
It is so good to catch up with the two of you again! I am going to be in Black Mountain / Brevard the same weekend but I do not think I will make it to the fiber festival. We are going to be there for my son's wedding! I WILL however, make it Black Mountain yarn shop on Thursday afternoon. So wish we could meet up in person. Maybe one of these days it will happen.
❤ I was so happy to see such lovely faces on my feed this morning. What a beautiful way to start my day.
I will continue to pray for your move - it sounds like there are still a few things that need to be worked out!
I was shocked to hear the name Charlotte Mason. I was a Home School mom ❤. My youngest is now 40. What a wonderfully creative and adaptable curriculum. Our family found it so rewarding.
God bless you both. Keeping you both and your husband/dad in our prayers. Love the outfit and bag from your friend in Canada. Take some deep breaths. Sending you both hugs. ❤
Rachel S.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful knits and stories! Love seeing you two. please take time for yourselves... you look so tired but managed to put this together for us.... Thank you!
What a happy gift for you both from a wonderful woman in Canada! So much preciousness-just as you both are!! ❤ loving you, Angela
What a wonderful gift for the baby! Always enjoy spending time with the two of you. You will love SAFF....so much to see!
I hope your husband is feeling better and the leaks in Kaity's house are fixed. The sweater I was talking about in my previous comment is the Sunset Highway.
Thanks Diana and Kaity. You little boy boy will look so cute in that adorable outfit knit by the generous viewer. Thanks for sharing your knits. Love your podcast.
Thanks for the happy podcast! So much fun. What a beautiful gift. Perfect. I had 3 kids in 3 1/2 years. We would go from Michigan to Florida and not a peep. I would say honey we need to turn around, we forgot the kids. They were so good, what a blessing. Have a great week!
Thanks for a wonderful episode. Kaity you could make the tiny dancer socks for your daughter with the leftover yarn. Hope you both get some much needed rest
Wow what a time you’ve been through! Sending strength and well wishes!
I was watching this at my work in my bakery- when you got a knock on the door I looked around to see if someone was at the door 😂.
How great to have your two lovely faces pop up on the screen after my very long, exhausting day! Thank you! Kaity’s story about the leaking ceiling reminded me of moving my second daughter and her 4-day-old into a new house south of Nashville. The second day the dining room ceiling was pouring water from the chandelier! The guy who came to check it out was definitely trying to keep the situation under control ,not fix anything. “Mam, what ya got here is a shower curtain failure.” 🙄 Turns out the house had been empty during the winter and the pipes had frozen. He was hired to fix them and was covering for a poor job. Always something exciting! Praying that your repairs go smoothly and you never have to deal with it again!
It’s amazing how much knitting you both got done, considering all the other things going on in your lives. The baby knit set gift is just beautiful. I’m praying for your leak to be fixed quickly and perfectly.
You two are adorable. 😊 So many beautiful projects. You've both certainly had some curve balls lately, and I hope all of the bad things are behind you now. Blessings to you both, and to the rest of your family.
Considering you have a new baby and moved house you look pretty good . Love your sweater
So lovely to see you both and catch up. We had pipes burst once in our attic and the ceiling collapsed so I know how awful those things are. Will pray it is all back to normal soon. Diana I needed to hear your comment about knitting mistakes and give the gift anyway! I blocked a pair of gift socks tonight and realized I knit the toe wrong on the first sock! I have never made that mistake before but no one is perfect as my husband reminded me and I will send them off tomorrow!
Steek the sleeves. So much easier than doing Colorwork on the wrong side. Cutting your knitting the first time is scary, but it works out great! Love the color of your sweater!
I love the Patagonia yarn. Just finished a sweater in it. Love watching and catching up.
I did the Framed. You don’t have to do color work flat. You change to the main color. 😊
Thanks Diana and Kaity, I'm 🙏🏽 for you both.
I look forward to seeing both of you. Just lost power because of Helene! Thank you for the stories!
Thank you for your company this evening, it was like being with friends 💛 It really is so good that we have our knitting to keep us grounded when the going gets tough 😊
You can steek the armholes on your framed sweater.
I love your pink cozy sweater.
Our community is so far and wide and we are so lucky ❤ So happy to see you both today
I love this pattern. I've knitted it twice but yours is soooo beautiful!
You are both amazing and we all appreciate you…like the woman in Canada, so sweet! ❤
That gift made me tear up. What an act of love.
Katie have you made it into Stitch yet?
Love getting to catch up with you two.
❤
:)
