  • It is almost Diwali and as promised Hazel is back to show us 3 more recipes perfect for Diwali boxes!
We starting off with a firm favourite - Burfee/Barfi - which always goes down a treat, whether it be at weddings or functions or at Diwali!
    Ingredients:
    2 cups fresh milk
    500g klim milk powder
    1 cup ghee
    375g icing sugar
    1 cup ground almonds
    1/2 can Nestle cream
    2 tbs sugar
1 1/2 tsp elaichi (cardamom) powder
Hazel used Malaysian cookie cutters and decorated with rainbow almond slivers and made different colours using gel colouring. But with the basic recipe you can mould and shape as you wish and decorate to your hearts desire!
