Here in Iowa we where sitting at -37 windchill and we just go "yep time to go to work" but then I heard what hit Texas and thought "bunny is in Texas. I wonder if she is ok?"

Here in Iowa the actual temp, not windchill was -26 this week. It was business as usual.
You could load the "balls"/"eggs" with all sorts of things. Even just strips of paper. Fun way to choose today's chores or something. Lol

I am in Dallas and so grateful that we didn't lose power or water once. We were so lucky. My husband and I own a small tree trimming business and we were taking firewood to those without power around the clock.
My dream is to go to Japan. I want to go for at least a month and travel all over the country.

I live in Alaska. We are used to really freaking cold weather, of which we haven't gotten a lot, lately. There's a lot of jokes and memes going around on Facebook in states that are adapted to the temperatures basically mocking Texans for not being used to the weather that's currently happening. While I have joked about it myself a time or two, Texas is NOT a state that is adapted to cold weather in the slightest, mainly because y'all have never needed to. But its a full blown crisis now and the people elected as the leaders of the state are bailing out or doing the bare minimum to help. Its not okay. Many people are suffering. Pipes are bursting, electric bills are SKYROCKETING, and all of this during a freaking pandemic. IT'S NOT FUNNY. I hope Texans are staying safe right now. I have family who lives down there and I don't know how they're doing. I'm sure they're okay but you never know. From the largest, coldest state, stay safe!

I am into the 1980-1990 stuff just like you and I have a TON of stuff that I played with still! I have my stationary, stickers, pencils etc and my ultimate vacation is also Japan! My mind can’t even comprehend how cool it would be! I DEFINITELY want to to go the indoor and outdoor Hello Kitty theme park!!! My wedding was actually hello kitty...I just LOVE that stuff!!! ❤️
It’s strange to hear about the problems with the cold. It’s normal for us to have the extreme cold and snow in Canada. But I can totally understand how Texas would be shocked. I had no idea it ever got cold there. But than again, most people don’t realize it hits 40 Celsius here either.

opaque =you CAN'T see light through the object (example: a book)
Translucent = some light shines through but you can't quite make out what's behind the object (frosted glass, wax paper)

I’m so happy you seem to be alright but I know you must be traumatized from what was happening and even continues in many ways. 💕🥰SENDING SO MUCH LOBE FROM 🇨🇦where we have been in the -48°C where we are, not certain what the temp conversion are but with the weather you usually get every other year, this was terrifying even to watch on the news here knowing you two and your mum and dad etc , I didn’t know how to get ahold of you or I certainly would have. I checked all your social media to try and find any update ! I was so worried ! Thank god you’re ohk, yes I’m very used to this weather where I live in Trenton New Jersey but I can’t imagine what it’d be like to be in your position, never experiencing weather like this then all your stuff freezing and not having any way of getting rid of all the ice and stuff , plus all the pipes busting, most people still not having running water or electricity. Ugh makes me so sad , just glad you’re ohk!
It was a rough week for sure. We were lucky enough to have power out for only 3 days on and off and water was gone for three days. Happy to be somewhat back to normal even though grocery stores are wiped out so it’s still kinda crazy. Stay safe fellow Texans! Hope your water is returned to clean state too bunny! ❤️

I live in South West Louisiana and I know exactly how you feel! Our roads were so iced over that I couldn’t walk to my car without slipping! I still had work because apparently hardware stores are “essential”, but we lost power and water too. It was rough! I’m glad y’all made it out okay❤️

I was watching a Snake Discovery video about isopods the other day and had to go look up what Rubber Ducky isopods look like (adorable, btw) and found these AMAZING bug toys from Bandai that are SO CUTE! They have pill bugs that actually roll up and beetles with wings and so many other super cute little bugs, I need to get some NOW!

Make sure you clear snow from the exhaust of your car!! Used coffee grounds are good for melting ice!! Layers are better for warmth!! Put food that might spoil outside in the snow!!! Hope this helps and let us know if you or anyone else needs anything!! Much love from the northeast US ❤️❤️❤️

It has been a hella crazy week for us girl I live in southeast Texas and i am so glad the snow is finally melted I bought a zero water pitcher for the water issue I never would have thought I would’ve hated the snow and cold so much but that was terrible 🤦🏼♀️💁🏼♀️💁🏼♀️

We had been having the same problem in southwest Mississippi. It was 10° here and we had nothing but ice. All of our roads were shut down. Most of the town didn’t have water. We have a boil water notice still. We had 3’ plus of nothing but ice. We are too close to the gulf to get snow. It was so dangerous here. Wrecks and all kinds of bad stuff. I hope y’all are going well. Texas and y’all are in my prayers.

A week before the polar vortex hit Texas, in Winnipeg MB it got to -34.6f = -37c , -12.2c = 10f is totally survivable. Glad to see you're okay though, random weather can really effect day today lives.

I am happy to see the new video. I too was wondering if all was okay with you guys. Living in Canada I cannot comprehend what it would be like to live somewhere that is just not prepared to withstand such weather.
What I mean is that it must be soo scary. Things we all take for granted like water, power and heat to seemingly crumble away with the force of the cold and ice is terrifying. I wish more people understood that it doesn't matter how much snow or ice people get it all matters how their infrastructure is handling it.
