Is it really a good idea though? I saw another lady who had this same system. She went viral for it and people took advantage of the samples, only buying the samples and not actual cakes. She ended up having to stop doing it because she wasn’t making as much as she would if they were actually buying the cakes after tasting the samples. Let’s be honest, most, maybe all, of the people in the comments are going to buy hella samples and not actually buy a cake and in my opinion that’s just inconsiderate and greedy. The samples are for people who want cakes and if you aren’t going to actually buy the cake then you shouldn’t get the samples🤷🏽♀️

Cake box samplers are IDEAL for those that want to try before they buy. Not all cakes are created equal. The berry creme looks good. I love Earl Grey tea, not sure how it'll taste as a cake though...🤔 all the more reason to try it 😊😊

Most legitimate bakeries/bakers offer taste boxes like this. I went to 2 places for test pieces like this before ordering our wedding cake. The first place's cake was horribly dry. The second place's cake was perfect.😊 The first place ended up going out of business a few monhs later. I guess a lot of customers felt the same way I did.

Now lets say this said person directly disobeyed the rules you’ve placed while they were there. you would be offended right? This is exactly the situation with us and God. We are the person staying over in His creation, yet we consciously disobey- which is called Sin. We all have this problem and because of this God has to send us to hell because He is so just can’t just let these wrong doings pass. Think of it as a guilty criminal having to be sentenced to jail because the Judge knows it’s right. We are the guilty criminal. Hell is our punishment. And God is that Judge. Well, this would mean that everyone would go to hell because we’ve all committed sin-disobedience from God, consciously. But here’s the good news. Jesus came to die on the cross, taking our punishment upon Himself, for our sins so we don’t need to go to hell. Think of that same analogy with the criminal. Now there is a person that’s willing to bail that criminal out and if that criminal accept that gift of bail, then they will be able to legally be free. If we accept that, Jesus died on the cross for our sins and repent- turn away from sin-then we will be saved because we take His bail that He offers for free so we can go to heaven.
Oh this is perfect even to sell on it's own no wedding neccessary 😊. The slices look so moist and delish . I would add a lemon version to round out your flavor profile . They all loo so yummy ❤.

Girl I think you are a genius for this and it really shows how much care and time you put into making sure your customers leave happy. Yet you also make sure you aren’t wasting your money and time, the fact you do samples like this and the fact you make and pack them the way you do is really smart! You’re making sure you’re giving them good samples so they don’t ask for more or anything and end up making you lose money. That’s a good business ethic right there❤
You should do a halfsie cake with two flavors melded with the uniform butter cream… the trend of his and her cakes still remain but to not have so much cost or excess would be so awesome for newly weds
Being a bit traditional when it comes to cake and what's in it, I'd probably go with the berries and cream. Earl Grey blueberry sounds really good too though. I'm Swedish so this kind of cake is rather foreign to me in general, cakes here often have just fresh fruit or a mousse between the cake layers and often covered with whipped heavy cream. My go-to when I make birthday cake for my own or my parents birthdays is one layer with thawed strawberries (and use the juice from said strawberries to moist the cake in general, and then sliced banana in the other layer. Whipped cream all around and piped, some strawberries and/or chocolate for decor. Swedish cakes are often very simple, but oh so good!
My favorite is red Velvet, cookie butter, and berries and cream. When I got married I had multiple flavors In my wedding cake. Mines were red velvet, berries & cream & chocolate. Everyone said it was the bomb. Course being the bride I didn’t get a chance to taste any of it. Good I sampled it in advance.

Just fyi, freezing cakes actually makes them better. You just have to know the proper way to freeze them. I make wedding cakes and when I would have a large order I would normally make the cakes about a month ahead of time. I would wrap them about 10 times with plastic wrap before putting them in the freezer I use a European buttercream which is all butter, so I would make that and also put that in the freezer, again wrapping it about 10 times I take it out maybe the day before I'm supposed to start prepping the cake. Turns out perfect every time I haven't done this box thing but I really need to LOL
I feel the same way, now. Me being Southern, Red velvet is practically a part of our religion in the South but after learning and researching the evils of red 40 and other various food dyes, I avoid red velvet cake at all costs.

A wedding sample box is helpful to know how your cake will be for your special day or if new customers want to order cake from you. I prefer natural dyes if I can do that. The berry cake isn't something I'd buy.

Lemon curd would be amazing with that as well!
I am long distance with my fiancé. I went to go visit him one weekend and our baker doing a taste testing box was the only way we would get to have this experience together! This can really make someone’s day and give them an opportunity to have this wedding experience with their future spouse 😋 we did our testing at like midnight and had such an amazing time!

Use wax paper and saran wrap (or straight up cheese paper) in order to prevent the saran wrap taste from getting absorbed for those hypertasters
