Nice video my friend🎣👍🏼 Thumbs up👍🏼 Greetings from Germany🇩🇪...
Greetings! Both my oldest daughters were involved in a 1 year exchange program in Germany. Each girl spent a year in Germany and now both speak the language fluently. Great experience, great country! Thanks for watching.
Nice chunks!
Volcano Time-Lapse bout damn time! Thanks!
I buy the Chatterbait Elite and I take a pair of pliers an take the bend out of the blade then rebend it in the same place as the Jackhammer and it makes the Elite start up just as fast as the Jackhammer because if you notice the difference is that the Jackhammer has the blade bent closer to the top of the blade also use a soft towel to keep from marking up your blade
I have been a subscriber since the April 2017 video with the Croppie on the cover keep making the great footage
👍🏻
Oh man - honored! Thanks so much!
Subbed your channel :-)
Joe Simpson thank you so much
You got that first bass trained it unhooked its self and waits to be held lol
lol, not shown on the video...i "lightly" soccer kicked it on the bank. Dont tell anyone.
@@capitolbassfishing oh good reflexes saved it
Our lockdown in NC starts today(Monday)at 5pm and I’ve gotta have something to watch!! Thank goodness I’m subscribed to your channels Joe! I love both the expensive and inexpensive. You’re exactly right on getting just that little extra from an expensive bait! I found out by getting whooped by the megabass jerkbaits 3 days in a row 😂😅
Glad I can help, about to pull my hair out...Does lockdown mean "no fishing" really? Hang in there man.
Joe Simpson Yeap no fishing! They have closed the lakes, and parks from what i understand for the next 30 days. We can still go out for the essentials. If ppl don’t comply then they will most likely get like the other places where only one person can go out per household. It pretty much sucks lol
Glad you picked that up. I remember requesting you to pick it up from a couple of your videos ago. Now, you now why it’s great as it is. Worth the money especially since it does have that magic to catch some quality fish.
Bates Yang yep for sure
You do know if you get between a swan and its offspring, they can beat you down. There have been incidents where a swan attacked someone who didn't take it seriously, resulted in a broken arm.
As to expensive baits, those 'inexpensive baits' were at one time the expensive baits, but due to the ubiquity of several decades of them boing around, lure companies start lowering the prices.
But, often expensive baits are expensive because they work. Unfortunately, in most recent times, expensive baits are expensive because marketing costs money. Lots of money.
yeah, I dont do swans... lol. I do like the jackhammer and the war eagles though.
Sometimes committing to buying an expensive lure gives you confidence to keep fishing that brand model. This in itself makes you fish a bait long enough to catch fish using it. Once you find success using the expensive model you often try others that cost less and work as well as the expensive one. It might be the trailer is the secret ingredient more than the lure model. When you know what the best feels and preforms like, it is easier to understand and find cheaper alternatives. This works quite the same for reels, rods and tackle. Most high-end tackle often teaches this lesson better than wondering what the real difference is between a $500 dollar reel and a $100 dollar reel truly is.
Gizmo Carr yeah your right. That’s kinda how I got to the bomber A. Using other high end brands first.
@@capitolbassfishing It is always fun to tie on a new lure and just start catching fish. It is a magical moment that doesn’t happens very often. I really like the look of those trailers; I have to look for some. When I saw how small that Kayak was I knew as big as I am that thing would be more like a submarine than a Kayak for me if tried one. That is what reminded me of those guys sinking that brand new Johnboat at the boat ramp. I usually rescue one or two people on my local lake every year that fall out of canoes or kayaks in the middle of the lake. When I was young, I did a lot of whitewater kayaking and river canoe trips. Moving water is more dangerous than most people realize. I once saw two people roll over a 16-foot aluminum canoe in the Youghiogheny River I was kayaking and went after their floating cooler and a few other things. The water was only 4-feet deep however, the canoe was swamped and both people were trying to right the canoe. The canoe lodged on a big rock and the water current wrapped the canoe around that big rock like piece of tinfoil. I got them to shore and they walked back to the canoe rental on the bike trail. They had to pay for the canoe and for river rescue to remove the canoe from the river. Who would think a summer Picnic was so dangerous but it was. Wear you PFD whenever you play in little boats.
@@gizmocarr3093 Would have loved to have seen the sinking of the titanic! Ha ha. Yeah, always have my PFD, cold water and fat guys dont mix, ha ha.
@@capitolbassfishing The best part was watching The Three Stooges trying to get that new boat back on the trailer. I know God loves me and has the greatest sense of humor there can be. If you think, Swans are intimidating creatures wait until you see an alligator. Run Joey run!
Thanks for your content Joe -- you're helping to keep me sane while I'm locked in here in LA!! I've got a chartreuse and white jackhammer tied on waiting for things to open up. What size hogfarmer spunk shad are you using with that chatterbait? Take care n be safe
synaptik111 x 4.5" is perfect
What size is the spunk shad? Was that the 4.5" or 5.5"?
Revivalz 4.5
Joe Simpson Thanks! Nice catches!
To me the only chatterbait trailer is the spunk shad, I have never seen another soft plastic come alive like the spunk shad on a chatterbait
Perfect
I love the Jackhammer by Zman! Have you tried using the Gary Yamamoto Zako as a trailer? I been having great results with that trailer!
not yet but I will
I know this is of topic but could you recommend a bait casting reel for smaller baits,1/4 and under.
Mike iddings not at all these two are good bfs reels ruclips.net/video/Os9T4m3kYI8/видео.html also look at kastking royal legend elite and the piscifun phantom. The latter two won’t cast ultra light lures that well.
You're crazy to pay that much for a lure your just buying a name they don't work any better then the regular z-man chatterbaits or at any of the other stuff stop catching donkeys the farmers miss them
Yeah, I think your right. I am a sucka for sure.
@@capitolbassfishing that's why we love you
