@@bonn1771 yea lol I was initially sold on the 3 row keyboard for the massive key size but when ur doing any documentation work with it, the missing punctuation is just... The difference is quite big
Blackberry’s were the boom diddy phones back in the day... I have 3 9780 bold’s a 9360 curve and a 9800 torch all brand new, I would love it if blackberry opened their services again to these phones, I miss the good old days and them phones are just sitting in a box haha
currently I use iphone11. but I still miss the feel of my blackberry. I used to own 8520 curve. Passport was the most good looking phone ever. hands down. we want it back.
Wish the new BlackBerry had... 1. larger screen 2. Multicamera with 2x lens 3. Android 4. 6 GB / 128 GB 5. Huge battery 4000 Mah 6. SD 7 series 7. Metal silver frame/ frets in b/w keyboard rows 8. 3.5mm jack 9. No need for IP Rating 10. Form factor like Key2 11. amoled display 90Hz 12. Expandable memory 13. One plus nord pricing
The Key2 failed in the quality plain and simple. The design was almost PERFECT, but the quality did not justify the price of the phone. Especially the Camera and the display.
Yeh, I guess it all boils down to price.. but its understandable given that TCL couldn't afford to mass produce the phone(the manufacturing price would go up). I just wish they had another go at it. Hopefully, Onward mobility succeeds with their idea.
@@johnkim-tech You would think that being a Chinese company they would have perfected manufacturing. The main problems that made critics dislike the Key2 was with the processor, camera, and screen. These are all key pillars that make a smartphone strong. Especially if it doesn't have the Apple badge on it. The BlackBerry Keyboard was the best part of the phone but people felt as though they were sacrificing a better mobile experience just to use the keyboard. This is why TCL failed. Onward Mobility will definitely do a better job I feel after hearing what their CEO said about their main focuses. They want to make the next BlackBerry an EVERYDAY device. Not just for work, and not just for media consumption. They want it to be everyone's main shooter. So I am very very excited to see what they come up with and I have good faith in that team to deliver on the quality that people expect from such a prestigious brand.
I get crazy when i hear people ask BB phone with a android os seriously we love this phoe for its os like apple with iPhone imagne iphone with android os doesn’t make any sense otherwise go for Chinese smartphone
Practical size please. No bricks please. Would like to carry in pocket. PKB yes. Android (?). Have used BB for seven years. Anticipated $800/1K price. Amazon asked $1k for a Q10 initially. A gold unit on EBAY went for $4500 w/Arabic pkb. Use my two Q10's regularly. Adult phone not a kiddie amusement center. More flexibility than Verizon. Go Blackberry!
@@alexyang8440 u mean a landscape keyboard! I wished for one of those. Though I am a bigger fan of the portrait style. Although I'd buy it regardless..heh heh
@@johnkim-tech yeah I think me too. I had a Nokia like that before, it was fine to use. But imagine the screen real estate if one could incorporate a slide-keyboard into a solid Passport design! Yeah, there is a good argument for the portrait style as well. I myself am torn between the two... the portrait and the landscape.
Cant wait to see your review once the phone is out
succinct presentation. well done! we are excited. hello from Canada.

Haha It's not a toy it's a tool!!
I want a blackberry that is wide as a passport and tall as the keyone.
Gosh that would be a workhorse blackberry lol I'm actually hoping for another passport version but with the 4 row keyboard like the Keyone's
You need a tablet
@@johnkim-tech I wonder how a Passport-proportion with a Nokia E7-inspired physical interface would work out. Might satisfy the Priv-fans as well?

It’ll be an Android phone embedded with Google. No thanks.
