    Hello,
    1) where do you spawn your heroes?
    2) how many times one hero can attack? as much as their energy cubes?
    3) for the first movement you have bones moves and is it free to move?
    4)When you activate a villain, dont you use energy cubes to attack ?
    5) does heroes has a turm limit to defuse a bomb?
    6) do you need to activate the tile inorder to respawn for energy?

    • @BoardGameCoffee
      @BoardGameCoffee  5 лет назад

      1. There are numbers in the mission book layout for each mission. (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and when selecting from available Heroes you’ll notice in the mission book they are separated in the same way (1st, 2nd, 3rd). So the heroes you select go into the corresponding slots. It’s explained in our video “ Mission set up part 9”
      2. Yes. As long as they can afford it you. But you can’t spend more energy cubes then the max amount allotted for that action.
      3. Correct.
      4. For villains you only pay to activate. They get 1 attack for free.
      5. Bombs don’t have turn limits but each mission does have a turn limit. The first mission if I remember correctly ends after seven turns. So if you haven’t neutralized enough bombs by the end of turn seven the heroes lose.
      6. I’m not sure I’m understanding the question

  • @dsummey30
    @dsummey30 5 лет назад +2

    In round 2 for Red Hood you should have to paid 2 cubes for movement since the minigun puts him at 6 which knocks his bonus movement to 0. So any movement should cost an energy cube right?

    • @BoardGameCoffee

      You are correct! These are the hazards of filming an unscripted play through ;)

  • @CTA12356
    @CTA12356 5 лет назад

    Just a heads up jumping down in to sink a city is 2 move points. Unless you have the batcape it’s given in an example but the move cost isn’t printed on the board itself

    3:52 Catwoman doesn´t spend energy cube for move :D Heroes have "bonus movepoint" on your 1st move, but still she must pay for the first move (correctly or not ?) and 17:03 (Catwomans move) is right in my opinion - she spend 1 energy cube for 1 move point, and she have +3 additional "bonus move" point .
    Maybe I just misunderstood the rules. Sorry

    • @BoardGameCoffee
      @BoardGameCoffee  5 лет назад

      Jakub Bačo Regarding first thing. I didn’t pay any cubes for her movement because she has a bonus of 3 and enough special skills to avoid all the hindering costs. The second time you mentioned I moved her 4 spaces so I had to pay for the additional 1

    I'm a little confused on Bane venom injected melee attack. He has 2 black dice with a 1 over the or 2 yellow dice with a 3 under them. What do the numbers, 1 and 3,mean. I understand I choose 1 other other.
    Also, when Reinforcement Points were spent, I thought you could EITHER, power up and OR bring in reinforcements. Not both.

    The Taser Gun (if that's what he has, as you only say "taser") should give Batman an extra orange die plus an extra automatic point of electricity damage if it gets past the enemy's defense. Thus, the first thug would have had a damage of 6 (not 5) dealt upon him. Nevertheless, great video!

    • @BoardGameCoffee
      @BoardGameCoffee  4 года назад +1

    • @socialcommentary
      @socialcommentary 4 года назад

      @@BoardGameCoffee Thanks for the quick reply and Monolith's insight would be great!
      In the meantime, probably adding the extra point of electricity to the overall damage total is the easiest/sanest thing to do because...
      Checking back over the rulebook, I found the automatic success part of an item can be found on p. 23/24 (subsection 6.5), but then on p. 43 it says "An automatic success is a success that is always added to the obtained result during the Calculate the Number of Successes step," which complicates the electricity/poison skills rules, which say: "Allows its possessor, if they manage to exceed their opponent’s defense, to inflict [X] automatic wounds, before the attack’s wounds are inflicted. The rest of the wounds are then applied as usual."
      If we weren't already confused, the game rules hierarchy prioritizes skill rules over game rules. Therefore, just adding the extra electricity damage to the total might be the best course of action. (And now I feel like a lawyer...in a good way?)
      Apologies for the long comment! My copy of the game is scheduled to arrive in about 2 weeks or so, and your videos have been extremely helpful as I familiarize myself with the rules beforehand! Thanks again!

    7:00 - 8:45 Why are you allowed to split the damage of your mini gun among different targets (villain's characters) in different areas? Is this a special ability of the mini gun? Isn't the manual saying that you have to determine your target and than roll dice, than reroll, than defend, than deal damage?

    • @BoardGameCoffee
      @BoardGameCoffee  5 лет назад +1

      The mini gun has the burst ability (level 3). It allows you to spend any excess damage on up to 3 additional characters.

    Shouldn't you perform immediate Bane activation after event resolution (reinforcement + venom injection)?

    • @BoardGameCoffee
      @BoardGameCoffee  5 лет назад +1

      When you first activate the event to inject Bane he does not get an activation. He gets an activation on every subsequent turn you activate that event. So once he’s injected he will get faster. But he does take damage. So in short first time you activate the event: No Bain does not get activated. The second time you activate that event and he’s already injected, then yes he does get activated.

    • @BoardGameCoffee
      @BoardGameCoffee  5 лет назад +1

      qu3tzl Good You mean in the play through? That would be correct. That’s the thing with play throughs you miss things 🤬 It wasn’t a scripted play through so much like a normal play session the odd mistake is made from time to time. Good catch

      @@BoardGameCoffee Yeah not trying to backseat game or something. Love the content. Monolith should link to your channel from the KS page if they haven't already. • @BoardGameCoffee

      No that’s absolutely fine, when we start doing more play throughs we’ll encourage people to find errors we make. Since they’re not scripted plays it’s easy to just miss something, especially when you’re concentrating on talking to the camera the whole time lol. So thanks for pointing it out it’ll make it less likely that we missed that again next time

    At the beginning why did you place three energy cubes in the fatigue? Usually we just play all the cubes in reserve.

    • @BoardGameCoffee
      @BoardGameCoffee  5 лет назад +1

      Each mission tells you how many cubes you start with, indicating how many to move from the reserve zone to fatigue zone. So in the first mission “To Sink a City”, Batman starts with six energy cubes in his reserve and five in his fatigue zone. Once the round starts (if Batman is active) You move 2 cubes from the fatigue zone into the reserves for that round.
