Can we comment on how much fun this game is! This is awesome! I studied the Titanic "in depth" when I was in college for my senior thesis! It was so much fun!
You absolutely can comment on how much fun it is! I never had to right a thesis of any kind as I was an art student back in the day and we only drew French girls ;) But the Titanic does sound like a fun project :)

@@BoardGameCoffee It was! I was highest in the class, I read both US and British investigations into the sinking, bought every book on the subject I didn't already have, and watched as many documentaries as I could! It took me a year! LOL
Thank you for the play through. My daughters don’t play many games with me but they like Pompeii and Escape Atlantis. This might appeal to them in the same way
I loved this video, thanks! I just watched this last night as I bought it for $30. Thanks for the entertaining walkthrough!! I really understood this now.
A few things. One, when you are scoring and you pass twice I use the marker to write X2 on my scoring token. Two, I don’t think Jack’s ability lets you pick up an extra passenger. Just the other things. Life preserver, cube and star. 3, Any card that you have that isn’t one of the three or less you’d have in your hand are considered played cards. 4, the quote about the French girls is on the card at the very bottom. There are quotes on a lot if not all of the cards. 5, Jess is beautiful.:)
Actually you CAN use the special ability to pick up extra passengers. It's the example given on page 6 of the instructions in the extended turn example.
Jack's special ability allows him 2 free pickups after a movement. So essentially you use it when there are 3 items available to get them all after you move there. It shows the example on the last page of the rulebook.
This game reminds me of similar feeling games such as Survive: Escape from Atlantis or The Downfall of Pompeii. Looks fun! Thanks for the play through.
I might have spotted one error in your game play through. At the end of EACH ROUND is when you decide who gets the heart of the ocean token. It appeared to me you were constantly checking after each turn. I made a tiny card for player number one before each of their turns to assess everyone's standing and hand out the heart token. Also on another note, i found the special abilities of some characters to be of more value than that of others. I made cards with each character on and players choose blindly from those cards determining their character for the game. In my opinion, Jack is the best followed by Rose, and the captain. So if only 2 were playing, they would randomly choose from only Jack and Rose. If three, i add the captain, four, Ruth gets added to the mix, and for five players, I add Cal's character card. This seems the fairest way to determine special abilities.
Your video helped us so much because there are a lot of "moving parts" & the instructions are a bit complicated. I love the movie, so when I saw it in the store, I had to get it. At the end of your game play, you added the scores incorrectly. When you get to the end the 2nd time, your total score was 70 (35+35). So, your final scores were 73 and 74, not 78 and 79.
I had no idea that existed! We’re trying to get in a bunch more playthroughs, but first I need to teach someone else how to edit the videos. As of now I’m the only one editing, and time is short so we can’t play all the things we want :(
@@BoardGameCoffee I understand. It's a rly fun game as I own and played it myself! Here's what it looks like!: i.ibb.co/CQrnQhk/My-NCIS-Game.jpg (It's sideways so u might have to rotate ur device to fully get the pic.)
Where did you find the rule that the cubes reset at the beginning of each turn? I read the rules Over and over and can’t find that! We got hung up on how do we keep moving lol
@@BoardGameCoffee it has to be right resetting the cubes each turn, because otherwise you’d be stuck. The rules were really detailed other than that part! So I think he was right lol
When the room floods you can still go swimming in there to collect the stuff. The stuff only disappears if the entire deck gets flooded. If you’re in there when it floods you don’t lose anything. At least that’s how I remember the game. It’s been a while since we’ve played.
Just bought this and the instructions were a bit daunting. Really loved this video. Can't wait to play!
Glad we could help :) I hope you like it :)

I know it's 3 years later, but just snagged this at Walmart for under $4! @@BoardGameCoffee

I was skeptical of this game, but it actually looks like fun. good play-thru.

Mark Russell I knew it! Never trust game designers for rulings on their own games 😡

anything we got wrong, you can blame the designer Daryl Andrews lol he’s the one who taught us

thank you!!!! bought the game and your video helped a lot
Did you enjoy it? The game I mean, not the video
@@BoardGameCoffee Yes we did.. Your video made it easier to learn
Great playthough! Looks like a fun night, very close game! Thanks for the video! :)

I cannot decide if I should get this game or not. Looks fun and I love the movie. Worth the purchase?
It’s lighter than the type of games I usually play, but I did have fun with it. And Britt really liked it.
Mike was supposed to take his shirt off when Brittany drew him. I call a foul.
Noted
Board Game Coffee That was not how you draw those French girls!
😂
I enjoyed watching this as a fan of the movie. Any chance u can do NCIS' Board Game in a walkthru? I'd love it very much!

Is this a game from your personal collection ? If not will it be added to you collection ?
Noahshu it was sent to us by Spin Masters which was really cool. So it is currently in my collection :)
Hopefully this is available in Walmart here in Canada. I like this game.
Let me see if I can get some info for you :)
I know target stores carry it. Hope this helps
It is an ok game. Not my favorite from them but not the worst either.:)
Fair
