There are objectives and a mission system, now with the new Glithchwalkers DLC. The Astroneer and his friends can travel to a new planent. With new and exciting missions to accomplish to unravel the mystery that is the Astroneer existence and what it means for the future of the Astroneers. Where will they go next? Awesome game! !!!Osiris new dawn is abandoned (the devs killed the game basically removing lots of good stuff then literally ran away), and I read mostly the same for planet nomads
Went to check out the second game on your list, Memories of Mars, but couldn't find it anywhere..then read where that game has been shut down as of June 2024.
I'm fairly certain surgeries in stationeers are not planned and haven't been for almost a year. They were deemed too restricting for solo gameplay. And video is fairly old, motherships were removed and not coming back(, yet there were mothership's engines on video.
Thank you for revealing this game genre in the video! Quite often I have the urge to play space games! I mostly prefer linear stories like Deliver Us The Moon/Deliver Us Mars, also I played many space horror games (it's not exactly what I want from this games) but also I have many games in library, including No Man's Sky in wishlist (for years lol) etc.
I'm telling you right now, best of the best Space Engineers, X4 Fondations and Avorion, that's all. Decent : Icarus, never seen that much content in a survival base building game as this one and they add updates with new content each weeks for years now. So its great to mention, but there is something missing in this game, in my opinion a bandit system with humanoids camp that you can attack or trade with. I'm not sure but there is definitly something missing to make it enjoyable for a long time as SE, X4 or Avorion
A lot of them don't, X4 doesn't end but at some point you will know you beat the game, it has some ending game missions and challenges. For example, at some point you unlock terraforming, it's mostly a resource waste, and the game warn you about this, but if you keep terraforming at some point planets start to pay off the investment. And there's the end game crisis that unleash the hostile faction on the galaxy alongside an economic crash. Wich you can prepare for OR try to survive and then rebuild later.

Ah, you too? I’m wondering about that, especially since the narrator's personal experience with some of these games seems superficial, questionable... even fictitious... For example, talking about an infinite journey with No Man's Sky, which is locked at 16,000 blocks per save (and 3,000 per base...)... I must admit that after only traversing about twenty galaxies and finding myself faced with the phrase: "You have reached the maximum block limit for your save" ... I had a very different definition of the concept of "infinity." So your question is entirely relevant ! We might rightly wonder if the author of this video is receiving funding for this; doesn’t it fall under the legal framework of false advertising, biased marketing... or any other form of deception aimed at a sale that could be illegal? I haven't spotted any lies, but significant omissions... In this case, it might not be false advertising; it’s more about hiding hidden flaws...? Finally, it would be good for willing lawyers to take care of this... It might clean up the web a bit from all the opportunists polluting it... I’m not claiming that this is the case here... Just that this video resembles many others, contains the same kind of errors, and that this type of practice tends to spread... Suspicion is warranted.
