An album of perfection from beginning to end....just a brilliant band for over thirty years......so sooooooo underrated by the corn fed radio listeners of Britain.
Redcrop Uk “the best band in the world” according to Ian! And I agree...this album is one of my favorites...so crazy the difference from their earlier albums to Flowers...I enjoy every Bunnymen album...I even enjoy Reverberation...I just feel Reverberation should have been listed with a different band name...without Ian it’s not the Bunnymen! Over the Wall is still my favorite song of all time!
It's funny you should say that about Reverberation, I said Exactly the same the thing to a mate the other day! (The Bogusmen!) This is a great album along with the ever-listenable Heaven up Here and actually my personal favourite Evergreen. The Bunnymen are my most seen live band although it's been at least 10 years since I last saw them. Cheers, Rich.
One of my favorite go to Bunnymen albums for a nice chill day...such a relaxing vibe to this whole album...King or Kings has one of the most epic lines on the planet, “met Jesus up on a hill, he confessed I was dressed to kill, saw fear eternal in his eyes, he’s seen what happens when the souls dies.” So profound...Ian always delivers the most epic lyrics!
