Your videos are great. I'll read through Laird's explanation as I have mine set up in a loop with my Mesa Triple Rec and I'm trying to get the 4 channel relay switching to work. I found that having my Input Gain under 14 will "reduce the volume." I do get a bit of clipping at this level but I guess Laird will guide me in the right path here. Thanks for posting these goodies
@CRANKYONE100 I've been using the Doubler quite a bit in the past few weeks, pretty much every video I've made has had it "On", and if you're using two amps, you should try the Doubler, it adds an incredible amount of space to the sound.
Hey Scoot..Thanks for your efforts...Someone is offering me one of these red Ltd units for $900..You reckon the umit is still worth it or is it becoming obselete?...How does the DOUBLER effect sound in real life??
Hi Scoot. Your vids about the G-System are awesome. You seem to really dig in this unit. I'm considering to get one. However some say that I sucks the tone and the dynamics of your playing. Did you ever experience that? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your answer! Cheers
+Joel Martinho Hi Joel, I personally never had any issues with tone-sucking with either G-System...I had two over the years. I got the first one back in 2007, and ran it into the front of a Peavey Classic 30. I later bought the red one and ran it into a ton of different amps with great results...Fender Deluxe, Fender Princeton, Fender Blues Jr, Vox Night Train, Fender Super. I later ran it through the effects loops of an Engager Tweaker 40, and a Marshall JMP-1...both were great! The people that have the most issues with tone-suckage are guys that use very high gain amps like Boogies, Engl, Diezel, and the like. I still recommend it, even though I've moved on to the Line 6 Helix. Rock on, Scott.
