God bless Kyle! What an amazing miracle ❤ I have had epilepsy ever since 1995 when I nearly died from liver failure at the age of seven. I’m so happy that everything has worked out. You did the right thing: never give up. Never stop seeing different doctors until the problem is solved.

Awesome Kyle!!!! Keep up the good work. One of my mottos is keep proving people wrong!!! Especially Drs or Authority figures that say you can't. I'll show you is still one of my character traits. I don't know what you are into but I used to snowboard over problems. When I say work it is work. I had a Traumatic Brain Injury when I was 8. Which is 39 years ago. I am now going to Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Which I won't lie is hard work. It is awesome that your mom is behind you a 100 per cent. My dad is great advocate but I wish that I could learn. My brain has been through alot. That's for sure I know it is hard. You want to be the best parent and don't get me wrong you are. One of the things that I've learned and still learning is my mind and body and I think going through ART is making my parents and my sister scared cause I am now putting it to bed. Sorry if I made you mad just giving you feed back. I also know that 39 years ago there is quite a bit of technology out there which wasn't when I was hurt. Good Luck!!! Listen to each other And by all means reach out to me Kyle and family or anyone if you wish. Good Luck on your journey!!! Kyle remember your parents are right for being your adovocate up to a certain age but always ask them if your not sure 🙂🙂🙂

Hi Marc I was left with complex partial seizures after a traumatic brain injury caused by several blows to the head in a violent relationship. They stated in 2005 after numerous blows at the end of 2004 after I left the relationship. I tried various medications for about 8yrs, but most did not work & had terrible side effects. The seizures started 6 monthly, then after stopping meds suddenly they turned to 1 - 3 per month, around the same time every month. I stopped the meds in 2010 but over the last 7yrs I have had some drop seizures so the Drs for the last 2yrs have wanted me back on meds but I have refused. I have looked into alternative treatments over the last few months after a bad fall that landed me in Emergency. I thought Keto diet, I am presently seeing a naturopath that has started me on a low carb, no alcohol, sugar etc diet hoping it will help, it didn't last month & I am now into the 2nd month & seizures are due. I tried cannabis oil but had not stopped drinking or changed of diet. I was also going to look into Neuroplasticity to see if there was an exercise program that may help change the Brain. I read books The Brain that Changes Itself & a few others in 2010, I will look up ART.
