Jakarta is too big to sink all together yeah the Northern part is sinking which was built by the Dutch colonial period and this video was taken in South and central Jakarta

nahh. Jakarta is wide enough. Not all places are sinking. Many places in this video are on very hard soil already. The sinking part is mostly in former Dutch East Indies administrative center far north.
Even before Dutch East Indies disbanded, they already relocated the administrative center to Central Jakarta, and Indonesian government relocated administrative center and business district further to South Jakarta after independence.
More affluent suburbs are now further south (and definitely not sinking).
Only the north of Jakarta would sinking. This particular area are in the center of Jakarta so nobody cares about sinking, while the North wich also the poorer area are the most part and people who get infected by the sinking rate.
The problem of Jakarta sinking doesn't mean anything to Jakarta residents, even in the north of Jakarta, residential, commercial and business areas are being massively built. Right on the edge of the sea.

Wait until you explore the interior roads of the city, its cramped but decent. Jakarta looks nice when driving in its major highways. This city lacks huge Business Districts unlike Singapore, Manila or KL.
I would say its better than almost all US Cities because how friendly they are for pedestrian and alot of public transportation, Unlike LA, Chicago, St,Louise etc that really forced you to use car for going anywhere
but not really that advanced and pedestrian friendly than most Cities in EU. Better than American, but not really that special compared to Europeans.

@@jutah In the video at minute 32:00, if you go straight you will go to the GBK stadium and SCBD area, you can see the SCBD skyline from afar. GBK stadium and SCBD are close to each other. Actually you are very close to the best area in Jakarta, it's just that you don't enter it, at 17:44 minutes on the left there is the Rasuna Epicentrum area, you pass through it, and at 21:29 minutes if you turn left you go to Mega Kuningan CBD. But its oke, your RUclips channel is good, I really appreciate you visiting Jakarta.

And the color saturation doesn't seem right, because the trees looks greyish-coloured, while in fact they are by no means grey. If you come back again to Jakarta, I would recommend you to explore the Jakarta Inner Ring Road especially Cawang-Pluit section and Outer Ring Road I. Both are toll road but the scene has loads of tall building and you can see other sides of Jakarta and its other CBDs.
