    I don't care if he "manipulated" jennifer, she has a duty as a mother to keep her daughter safe. Sending her to bed with your ex boyfriend should never, ever be normal or OK.
    People are "manipulated" into involving themselves of all sorts of crimes. Do they get some sort of pass for that? Why did the mother say she saw Maddy getting dressed that morning when it's been proven she was no longer alive at that point?

    The biggest red flags for me (besides the whole sleeping arrangement isssue) is
    1. She nor Stephan told the police or media that Madeline has asthma and used a rescue inhaler. The fact that Maddie needed life saving medication made the situation of her being missing even more urgent.
    2. She didn’t have photos ready and loaded on her phone for the police. They had THREE hours to wait until the police arrived.
    3. She didn’t notice that one of the Crocs that Maddie was supposedly wearing that day was in her bedroom area under a window. What worried parent doesn’t search a bedroom for any clues about their missing child?
    4. She and Stephan didn’t search for Maddie that night after the police left them. Jenn’s family went out on the streets to search, Jenn and Stephan went back to the condo to take benzos and try to sleep. Who would want to sleep or be able to sleep knowing their only child was lost somewhere out in the dark??
    All of these things lead me to believe that there was no sense of urgency because both SS and JS knew that Madeline would not be found alive.

    • @MK-cc5ve
      @MK-cc5ve 7 дней назад +12

      Good point about the croc shoe in her room. Also the Police noted they used (correct) past tense grammar when talking about Maddie. “When my daughter was dropped off” “was dropped off”, not when Stephan dropped her off, not when I dropped her off: instead an unowned comment “was dropped off”. Removing herself and her boyfriend from the equation.

    About the black shorts: Maddie’s teacher said iirc that she would wear a green hoodie and shorts when it was “sports day”. So maybe that monday was a sports day and that is why Jen corrected SS based on a logical assumption.

    GH: What I don't understand is how you can put a screenshot from a document up on the screen that clearly says "Jennifer said she SAW Maddie..." and then try to use it to prove your point she didn't lie? My dad was former NYPD, cops don't make up words in their reports.. they use the words the person said, in fact, you'll even see them use exact phrases they feel are important to the case and they'll quote the person (ie: SS "time to kill"...) Did you ask yourself, if the cops were confused, who caused the confusion? I have all the docs, Jen first says to LE she "observed" Maddie, then she "saw" Maddie. One of the cops noted Jen's inconsistencies in an Incident Report in the docs. Jen told one officer she saw Maddie at 8 am MONDAY, however the officer filing this report notes that Jen told him she last saw Maddie at 2300 hours on SUNDAY. Inconsistencies or lies? or, as you are saying, Jen told the truth and it's the cops fault for not writing what she said correctly. Come on! But go on, you can choose to protect the women who didn't protect her child and lied or covered it up to LE...Having anxiety and being tired does not absolve you from providing basic supervision to ensure the well being of your child.

      Did you watch the video? She interchanges we/him/my partner several times. It seems like grooming to me and that SS basically brainwashed JS.
      We can all ask NOW, how did JS not know, but the fact is, none of us lived in the house to know what was going on. I’m hopeful that with the trail of pictures and video that SS left that there has to be proof of any involvement on JS’s part. But that is a while separate issue from Maddie’s murder.
      It’s sort of frustrating to read all these comments about JS…people are so quick to judge before knowing the full story or ever being in a situation where they were manipulated. I’m not saying that happened, but we have to wait until more information is presented.

    A person can be charged with child neglect even if they didn’t know they were being neglectful. Child neglect is a form of childhood abuse, and legal action can be taken against someone who neglects a child in their care. So, even if she didn't believe sending her daughter to sleep with this guy or allowing him access, she may still be liable. However, it is not a crime to allow a child to sleep with your boyfriend in Florida. It can come into play in custody though. So it is somewhat confusing.

  • @paisleykix

    I appreciate the time and effort you put into this video. The black shorts comment was an assumption by Jen because she was usually wearing black shorts, which explains that comment. Her sending them to sleep together is troubling. My biggest issue with her is her smirking during her interview while the dog feeder recording was playing. That was so weird and troubling in my opinion. I believe he groomed Maddie and Jen, but I believe Jen had some knowledge after the murder and was afraid to tell because he convinced her she’d be blamed because she sent them to sleep alone in room 4. She denied being able to recognize his genitalia in the CSAM. She checks into rehab as soon as he’s arrested. What’s up with that? I’m not sure if she has any involvement with the murder but think her behavior with the smirking and grinning and repeating an obviously scripted statement every time, is cause for suspicion.

    I haven't watched this yet but have bn following every update since February. I think the truth is SS did this on his own.....he panicked bc Maddie started talking crazy.... Jen was although criminally negligent, extremely hoodwinked and manipulated by SS. I'm sure Jen asked Maddie several times in the beginning of the weird sleeping arrangements if everything was okay and Maddie reassured her which made her eventually think she was crazy for even thinking anything sinister was going on. That's why she didn't hesitate to tell le about the sleeping arrangements...if she knew about the abuse, she would hide the fact from le. And regarding "we" & "he" means more than u think. She used 'we' bc she took SS word for fact. If she had known or even suspected him of doing anything sinister to Maddie, she would have distanced herself from the entire thing,,,,she would have used "he" not "we". This is true from the beginning of time for codefendants, they will always give themselves the option to finger the other even if subconsciously. Majority of the discrepancies in her statements come from her trying to cover up the fact that she was an absentee parent (just like Tyler , btw)
